We had We The Blackwells photograph our August wedding and we have nothing but great things to say about the entire process. Like any couple planning their big day, we were very anxious about our photos and photographer being perfect. To say they stepped up to the plate is an understatement. From our consultation call to receiving our photos, the entire team was so professional, personable, and kind.
On our wedding day, we got a thunderstorm and a crash on the interstate delaying our start time. What could have derailed the day, our photographers took and made it work out even better than we'd planned. They helped the DJ and us move our timeline around and got our photos in the perfect sunset lighting to keep our older family members out of the peak heat. We also forgot to cut our cake (we had a small cake for just us and our guests had sheet cake) and even though we were fine to go without those photos, they still made sure to get our wedding rings and take a photo of them with the slice of cake. It was a small thing for them to think of getting a shot of, but that attention to detail and putting themselves in our shoes is what makes We The Blackwells so valuable.
Our guests had nothing but kind things to say about their interactions, and our entire bridal party absolutely loved them! Having all the people we love in one space is so rare, so for them to all be so happy and comfortable in every photo means the world to us. When we got our entire gallery back, we were blown away. My husband and I worked with We The Blackwells for our engagement photoshoot and the wedding. Crist understood exactly what our vision was and captured moments the family cherishes. We hired We The Blackwell’s for our engagement photos and our day of wedding photos. Hannah and Crist were so communicative throughout the entire planning process and really understood the vibe we wanted to go with, even helping with outfit planning. At our engagement shoot Hannah and Crist made us feel so comfortable and were so patient with us and made sure we had the perfect engagement photos. Our wedding was 3 days after Hurricane Milton made direct landfall in the Tampa Bay Area and Hannah and Crist didn’t even skip a beat with confirming that as long as we were moving forward so were they. The day of Noah showed up with the perfect amount of time to set up and get all the detail shots done before the family portraits. Noah took the time to make sure everyone was perfectly posed and that the lighting was perfect. He even worked with us on avoiding some of the hurricane debris that was in the background. I don’t have enough good things to say about Noah, Hannah and Crist.

We originally met the Blackwells when they shot my cousin’s wedding. We clicked instantly, and later did a mini shoot with them. We loved their work, so when we got engaged, they were an obvious choice for our wedding. The Blackwells go above and beyond in every aspect! From the zoom calls to go over timelines, to day of engagement, and final edits, they always put you first.

Our wedding day went so smoothly. Our guests even commented on how efficient Crist was at getting all the family photos. This allowed more time for fun couple pics! Crist has a great creative eye and you can feel confident that he can bring your vision to life!

My 2023 wedding almost didn’t happen because California experienced the “storm of the century,” which closed down highways and caused major flooding and mudslides throughout the state. Despite being caught in the storm and stuck on the 5 Freeway for hours, Crist and his assistant made it to the venue on time and ready to roll.

Crist ensured that everyone was in good spirits and made the most of the day. He was like a personal hype man! We loved his positivity and professionalism.
