I needed a stylist that could deal with curly hair and come to my venue. I got both! Very friendly staff. Hair looked very nice.

The ladies at O'Hair Salon helped me start my wedding day on the right foot - feeling very relaxed and beautiful. Since my wedding was in Middletown, MD my bridesmaids and I went to their Frederick location for our hair and makeup. From the moment I entered the salon for my consultation I knew I would be well taken care of. The atmosphere is very relaxing and everyone is super friendly. My hair and makeup trial runs were a success and I was excited to be able to treat my bridesmaids to a little pampering that morning. We all looked beautiful when we were done and there wasn't a hair out of place on any of our heads the entire day. And after we were done the ladies at the salon directed us to a great place to grab some lunch to take back with us before the wedding.
I would warn that in the Frederick location all the closest spots to the salon are metered so take the extra time to find parking in a nearby garage - or end up getting parking tickets like I did both times I was there!!

Both my maid of honor and I had our hair done at O'Hair in Gaithersburg. They did a wonderful job, doing everything just as we had planned during the consultation appointment. I highly recommend this salon!

Amy did my hair for my wedding and I absolutely loved it! She was able to take the picture I brought in and turn it into a style that was totally me. My hair looked great the entire night, and stayed in place through hours of running around and dancing. Tamera is a fabulous makeup artist -- while I decided to do my own makeup for my wedding, my trial run with Tamera was excellent, and my MOH is already thinking of hiring Tamera for her own wedding. Especially if you're getting married at the Kentlands Mansion, take a look at O'Hair!

They are a little expensive, but my hair and make-up didn't budge all day long. And both were flawless. AND I barely felt the weight of my up-do. Stylist Kari did a great job. Very creative. Love it.

I love O'Hair Salon because, while they are a little more expensive than your average salon, they do not accept tips. I feel this relieves the tension you feel at other salons, and it frees the stylists to take the time that is necessary to make your hair look great. They are all very talented (between myself and my husband, we have visited 3 stylists), and they are great at figuring out what would look great on you as far as style and color, etc.

I had no idea what I wanted to do for my hair, and I wasn't sure where to go. O'Hair was relatively reasonable for their level of service. Considering that you don't have to tip (although sometimes I really want to because they are so great), it works out about the same in price. I went to them on the day of, which was a little cheaper. They open early (7am) on Saturdays, so this is perfect for morning brides.

Ashley is great, and I mostly let her have free reign with a few basic guidelines. She did a fabulous job, and my hair stayed perfect until bedtime (probably would have lasted for a couple days if I left it alone and didn't sleep on it!) even though my hair will not hold a curl for anything! I was a little worried that my husband would not like curly hair on me, so at my last appointment before the wedding, we discussed it. It was a bit slow that day, so she jut went ahead and played around with it a bit, doing a quick temporary curl to get an idea of how it would look on me and to see how it would go over with the hubby (then fiance.) He liked it, even though he doesn't really like curly hair much.

On the day of, everything went great. Ashley did a wonderful job, and her calm but friendly demeanor helped to put me at ease. (She is always nice and easy to get along with.) I would recommend O'Hair and especially Ashley for wedding hair and everyday hair. Like I said, they are a little pricier, but you get great personalized service, and it comes out about the same when you take the cost (and the stress and anxiety) of tipping out of the way.
