We are very glad that we chose Occasion 9 as our florist for our wedding at The Foundry.
We worked primarily with Mira; she understood my vision from Day 1 and even suggested things we did not think about. She is very easy to work with and accommodating to our requests, even including the type of leaves and flowers we wanted/ did not want.
The flowers she provided for the day of the wedding looked even better than what we had imagined and many of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers and bouquets were. We are glad we worked with them and would highly recommend them.

Mira was absolutely wonderful to work with for my wedding in the NY botanical gardens in June. When I had my first meeting with her, I knew immediately I was going with Occasion9. Unlike other florists/vendors I've met earlier in the week (two others) who spent ~10 mins with me after being 30 mins late, Mira sat down with me to talk through the planning, designs, and color schemes she thought would work well with the venue for over an hour! She was extremely patient to talk through about a lot of the details as I only had some color schemes and general designs in mind and wasn’t sure at all about a lot of the details. Mira knew exactly what to do, and I left the meeting completely reassured. Occasion9 also suggested very reasonable prices and worked with me to stay within my budget. They also suggested makeup and hair vendors (which I went with) when I told her I had no idea where to start looking. I met with Mira two more times (a couple of months before and about two weeks before the wedding) to go over the final details. I also decided to add an arch which Mira was generous to go over the look of and discuss what would match well with the style of the venue/wedding, etc. The day of, everything was beyond PERFECT. I had never seen such beautiful bridal bouquet. My mother could not stop gushing about how pretty and unique the bouquet was. The flowers were fresh and the flower/candle arrangements, centerpieces were spectacular. All the guests loved the beautiful elegant arch with flowers and fabric and took turns taking pictures in front of it until they had to be seated for the start of reception. I’ll be recommending Occasion9 to everyone! They are extremely professional, thoughtful, attentive to detail, artistic, and wonderful to work with.

I knew we were in good hands as my friend actually got her wedding flowers done through Occasion9 a couple years ago, but actually working with Claire and Mira was such a pleasure, and most important, our flowers were beautiful!

It was clear from our first meeting that Mira and Claire cared and wanted our wedding to be how we had always imagined it, and they were patient with our questions and meticulously showed a lot of different floral arrangements and options.
Even on our wedding day, they came early to personally set up all of the centerpieces and made sure that my bouquet and even the cake decoration were flawless.

Not only did they quickly understand the rustic/garden concept I was thinking of, but they were also flexible with working within my budget and easy to communicate with. We just had our wedding a few weeks ago and it was wonderful thanks to occasion9. The flowers we originally wanted was out of season and they handcrafted branch by branch a different arrangement to give us the look and feel of what we wanted. Basically, they turned our wedding hall into forest in full bloom. Literary branch by branch and flower by flower. They came early to the venue and the two worked nonstop to get all the arrangements just perfect...working till the last minute and staying behind to over look that everything was perfect. Very professional, kind and the most talented florists in NYC.

Claire & Mira created an elegant and beautiful arrangement of floral for my recent wedding. I 1st met them not knowing what look or feel I wanted. Once we started talking and once they sensed my personality it was artistically all taken care of. Words can not describe how beautiful everything came out. From my bouquet, table floral, ceremony floral arrangement, and the whole set up was perfect with ease. All my guest were raving about the fabulous arrangements and pieces. I used Occasion9 for floral and day-of-coordination services. They did a fabulous job and the whole O9 team was great to work with. Jasmine created beautiful floral arrangements and a chuppah based on pictures I brought her and took extra time with meetings and mock-ups to make sure everything was what I hoped for. Emily was my day-of coordinator (and involved in all the floral details) and I cannot possibly say enough compliments about her work. She was incredibly organized and on top of every little detail. She took the initiative to get in touch with all my other vendors early on and made sure everything was on course. She thought of lots of things I hadn't thought of and made my life so much easier in the weeks approaching the wedding, and in particular the day of. I can't imagine the wedding going as smoothly as it did without her help. Overall, O9 provided very personalized services and went above and beyond all my expectations.
