We are very glad that we chose Occasion 9 as our florist for our wedding at The Foundry.
We worked primarily with Mira; she understood my vision from Day 1 and even suggested things we did not think about. She is very easy to work with and accommodating to our requests, even including the type of leaves and flowers we wanted/ did not want.
The flowers she provided for the day of the wedding looked even better than what we had imagined and many of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers and bouquets were. We are glad we worked with them and would highly recommend them.

Mira was absolutely wonderful to work with for my wedding in the NY botanical gardens in June. When I had my first meeting with her, I knew immediately I was going with Occasion9. Unlike other florists/vendors I've met earlier in the week (two others) who spent ~10 mins with me after being 30 mins late, Mira sat down with me to talk through the planning, designs, and color schemes she thought would work well with the venue for over an hour! She was extremely patient to talk through about a lot of the details as I only had some color schemes and general designs in mind and wasn’t sure at all about a lot of the details. Mira knew exactly what to do, and I left the meeting completely reassured. Occasion9 also suggested very reasonable prices and worked with me to stay within my budget. They also suggested makeup and hair vendors (which I went with) when I told her I had no idea where to start looking. I met with Mira two more times (a couple of months before and about two weeks before the wedding) to go over the final details. I also decided to add an arch which Mira was generous to go over the look of and discuss what would match well with the style of the venue/wedding, etc. The day of, everything was beyond PERFECT. I had never seen such beautiful bridal bouquet. My mother could not stop gushing about how pretty and unique the bouquet was. The flowers were fresh and the flower/candle arrangements, centerpieces were spectacular. All the guests loved the beautiful elegant arch with flowers and fabric and took turns taking pictures in front of it until they had to be seated for the start of reception. I’ll be recommending Occasion9 to everyone! They are extremely professional, thoughtful, attentive to detail, artistic, and wonderful to work with.

I knew we were in good hands as my friend actually got her wedding flowers done through Occasion9 a couple years ago, but actually working with Claire and Mira was such a pleasure, and most important, our flowers were beautiful!

It was clear from our first meeting that Mira and Claire cared and wanted our wedding to be how we had always imagined it, and they were patient with our questions and meticulously showed a lot of different floral arrangements and options.
Even on our wedding day, they came early to personally set up all of the centerpieces and made sure that my bouquet and even the cake decoration were flawless.

I couldn't have wanted anything more, and am so happy Mira and Claire were a part of our unforgettable day. Thank you so much Mira & Claire!!

Occasion9 was absolutely amazing to work with! Mira and Claire are so talented, creative, and professional - from our first meeting together, I knew that they were the perfect choice. Not only did they quickly understand the rustic/garden concept I was thinking of, but they were also flexible with working within my budget and easy to communicate with. The flowers turned out gorgeous, and the color palette was even more beautiful than I could have imagined! On the day of the wedding, Mira and Claire arrived on time and worked efficiently to set everything up. They even helped line up my wedding party to make sure our ceremony flowed smoothly and stayed till the cocktail hour to double check that everything looked right. We just had our wedding a few weeks ago and it was wonderful thanks to occasion9. The flowers we originally wanted was out of season and they handcrafted branch by branch a different arrangement to give us the look and feel of what we wanted. Basically, they turned our wedding hall into forest in full bloom. Literary branch by branch and flower by flower. They came early to the venue and the two worked nonstop to get all the arrangements just perfect...working till the last minute and staying behind to over look that everything was perfect. Very professional, kind and the most talented florists in NYC.

Claire & Mira created an elegant and beautiful arrangement of floral for my recent wedding. I 1st met them not knowing what look or feel I wanted. Once we started talking and once they sensed my personality it was artistically all taken care of. Words can not describe how beautiful everything came out. I used Occasion9 for floral and day-of-coordination services. They did a fabulous job and the whole O9 team was great to work with. Jasmine created beautiful floral arrangements and a chuppah based on pictures I brought her and took extra time with meetings and mock-ups to make sure everything was what I hoped for. Emily was my day-of coordinator (and involved in all the floral details) and I cannot possibly say enough compliments about her work. She was incredibly organized and on top of every little detail. She took the initiative to get in touch with all my other vendors early on and made sure everything was on course. She thought of lots of things I hadn't thought of and made my life so much easier in the weeks approaching the wedding, and in particular the day of. I can't imagine the wedding going as smoothly as it did without her help. Overall, O9 provided very personalized services and went above and beyond all my expectations.

My wife and I went with Occasion9 for our wedding and couldn't be happier with the decision. My reasons for my satisfaction are: 1. The quality of flowers exceeded my expectation; 2. Occasion9 was impeccable with timing, followup, and follow-through.; 3. It was almost as if we never had to worry about flowers & decorations at all since everything was all done according to plan and beautifully.

I'm grateful for these reasons because their quality of service, responsiveness, and professionalism ensured that there was one less thing to worry about!

My recommendation for anyone who's contemplating on using Occasion9 is this. Don't lose sleep over flower arrangements. Let Emily and her team take care of you, and don't be a *insert word here*zilla. They're true professionals and will not disappoint you.

Everyone knows that planning a wedding is hard. There are many things to think about and concerns to stress over but regarding flowers, I can easily say I was able to relax and not worry about because of Occasion 9. I reached out to Occasion 9 after seeing a friend's wedding. As a bridesmaid, I got a close hand look at the bouquet and the centerpieces. The floral arrangements were gorgeous. Not only that, the floral arrangements were classy and exactly what the bride wanted. Working with them for my wedding, I was extremely happy to see how they really wanted to let a bride's personality and wishes shine in the floral arrangements. From my first meeting with Jasmine, Emily and her team to the day of the wedding, they worked very hard to make sure they understood who I was and what kind of look I was looking to create. Knowing that I am a DIY person who likes all things crafty, they arranged to have me observe them personally design the mock centerpieces in person so that I can see the steps. I enjoyed the experience so much more because of this. Any questions or concerns I had I was free to email them. I never waited more than a day to get a response. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, meeting with Occasion 9 was something I looked forward to and not stress over. They talked over design aspects and helped create and bring my vision to life at a loft venue that had nothing in it. They had a hand creating the ceremony aisle, cocktail tables, altar flowers, centerpieces and even rented out unity candles. They're also mindful of your budget and can work with you to keep to it. Occasion 9 also provides event planning and while I was already working with someone else, I would not hesitate to recommend them for the service based on my experience with Emily who is prompt, organized and knowledgeable. I only wish I could show the pictures of the floral arrangements so people can see how beautiful their work is but I hope you guys take my word for it!

Occasion9 was able to design and set the flowers exactly the way I envisioned it! They were very accommodating to our budget and was able to make suggestions that fit our vision and budget perfectly! We had to make last minute changes to the tables, and Occasion9 was very flexible and made sure there were not issues on the day of. I would highly recommend Occasion9 for all your flower needs! We will definitely be using them in the future for other events!

I have used the wedding planning services provided by an affiliate company of Occasion 9 and both services have been nothing but positive experiences. The meticulous level of attention, care, and creativity Jasmine puts into the work of her floral decorations are impeccable. My wife had research many different ideas and Occasion was able to incorporate each detail into the floral designs. We had our celebration at the Woodbury Country Club and the place is stunning without any décor. However I was concern about the lighting since we had a late Friday wedding in mid-autumn. Occasion 9 was able to illuminate and even bring out a astounding side during the ceremony. We could not be happier with the experience and decorations provided by Occasion 9 and would highly recommend anyone looking to complete their wedding with the finest floral designs to utilize their services.

I was 100% satisfied with occasion9 from the very first day we sat down to plan up to the day of the wedding.
I went in with no idea of what I wanted or what kind of look I was going for. Jasmine and her team were fantastic. They were able to throw out a bunch of unique ideas with tons of details that I would never have come up with on my own. The best part is that they work with your budget to make sure you get the most bang for your buck but everything still comes out looking so extravagantly beautiful.
I got to take a sample centerpiece home after one of our meetings a couple weeks before the wedding. I had several people stop me on the street asking me where I got the flowers from and one guy even offered to buy it from me (of course I refused).
Setup on the day of the wedding went smoothly. They were on time and worked very efficiently to get all the centerpieces and arrangements together. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and so unique (not like the same old arrangements you see at every other wedding). The centerpieces had so much different texture and they complimented the venue so well.
I regret not preserving my bouquet but all the flowers photographed so well that I have pictures to last a lifetime.

Occasion 9 was recommended to me by my photographer/videographer and from the first initial meeting, I went with them before even exploring any other florists.
Not only do they provide flowers for your wedding, they work with your vision of what you desire and then conceptualize and execute an amazing display. From my centerpieces to the bouquets to the arch for the ceremony, everything exceeded my expectations.
Emily and her team were absolutely amazing to work with-- I felt like I knew them for years!
Not to mention, their prices for NYC were absolutely affordable.

Emily and the rest of the team at Occasion 9 were absolutely fantastic. I went to them with a relatively low budget for flowers/table decor (by NYC standards!) and they went above and beyond to work within my budget while still creating beautiful and very substantial arrangements. I am quite particular, however at our first meeting I felt very reassured that they understood my vision, and the end result surpassed my expectations. They created a full-size sample centerpiece that we reviewed together, and they paid close attention to the small changes I wanted to make for the final arrangements. Emily is responsive, proactive, professional, and a delight to work with. Flowers were truly one thing I never worried about because I knew they were in excellent hands. Although I only used them as a florist, it is clear that the team does more comprehensive wedding planning. Emily came to a meeting that I had at our venue and asked questions I hadn’t even thought to ask. They go above and beyond and are by far the most reasonable florist I came across in NYC. Highly, highly recommend!

It was such a joy to work with Jasmine and Emily, I was actually sad when our wedding adventure was over! The florals were among the last major thing we worked on together, and I totally get why; they wanted to get a feel for who we were, stylistically as well as personality-wise, so when the time came they were able to craft the perfect floral arrangement for us.
The reception was held at a loft space, Gary's Loft, which has views of the Empire State Building, and while it has really beautiful furniture and decor, we needed to give it a few elements that said it was our wedding, and not just a beautiful loft space. Because the guests would walk directly into the reception space from the elevator, it was important that the first thing they say gave them a "You've arrived at the wedding party" feeling. Jasmine designed a gorgeous arrangement directly across from the elevators to give the wedding party just that feeling. They worked within our budget, were very helpful with the pre-wedding jitters and anxiety, and answered all of our frantic emails. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Occasion 9 provided the flowers for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with how beautiful everything turned out. We booked our wedding reception at Studio 450, which is a very raw loft space on the west side of nyc. The space has amazing views and has a cool industrial look, but it is completely white (walls, floors, ceilings) so we knew that we would need a great florist to help soften the place up. On top of that, my wife Karen is an interior designer and had a specific vision in mind for the space so I knew the bar would be set pretty high. Well, Occasion 9 met and exceeded every expectation from start to finish and the we got rave reviews about the flowers from our guests.

We knew we found the perfect florist after our first meeting with Occasion 9. During the meeting Jasmine & Emily listened to our overall vision and were able to quickly bring that vision to life with hand sketches. Throughout the process they were so attentive to detail and were always happy to accommodate our varying requests. We even changed a few things during our "mock up" meeting and they were nice enough to do another mock up for us to see what the final arrangements would look like. The two of them are both so friendly and you could tell that they really worked hard to exceed all expectations, and maximize the decor within our budget.

We are absolutely thrilled with the way the flowers and overall decor transformed the reception space into everything we wanted. We would without a doubt highly recommend them!

My wife and I were recommended to Occasion 9 through a colleague. We could not have been happier with the results. Emily was really kind and professional to work with. If you want really fresh and beautiful arrangements, I would recommend going with Occasion 9. Everyone at the wedding complimented us on the flowers - I don't ever notice them in the weddings that I go to. This alone makes them worth it. We had our wedding at St Augustines, Park Slope and then the Montauk Club for the reception. Emily and Elizabeth flawlessly transferred the flowers to the reception soon after the ceremony.

If you want to deal with stress free professionals that produce gorgeous work that everyone will notice, then Occasion 9 are for you.

I am very grateful to have had Jasmine and Emily as florists for my wedding. They were helpful, supportive and professional since the beginning planning stages of my wedding to the day of my wedding.

I do not live in New York, so communication was either done via email or phone. Communicating through email or phone was key, and they were always responsive! They always received questions and suggestions warmly, and genuinely provided feedback regarding price, idea, and wedding preparations. I always knew I was in good hands!

They went above and beyond my expectations. My baker messed up the color scheme on my wedding cake by adding flowers that I did not ask for. I had no idea about this issue nor was it a problem for Jasmine and Emily. However, they willingly brought the problem to my attention and fixed the mistake that they didn't make. If it wasn't for their attention to detail, care and help I would have had a cake that probably would have stuck out like a sore thumb. Their thoughtfulness and concern not just for the flowers, but for the bride was evident.

Jasmine and Emily are truly gifted in what they do. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements were fresh, beautiful, and modern. Even though I had no idea about which flowers to use, Jasmine and Emily captured the romantic and vintage vibe that I had in my head with the flowers perfectly just by having a conversation about my wedding! In the end, everyone complimented me on flowers, but all credit is definitely due to Jasmine and Emily.

I am thankful I got to meet and work with such wonderful ladies who were not just florists, but a concerned and caring friend. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Jasmine provided the flowers for our wedding and it was phenomenal. She met all of my expectations and was great with all our emails. I was planning my wedding all the way from FL and was only able to meet with her 2 times before our wedding. She was able to provide me with all the dreams i had for my wedding flowers. My wedding bouquet was so pretty! She was able to provide me with Peonies even in November. The bouquet was so pretty that even people at the airport stopped me to comment on how pretty the flowers were.
I would recommend her to anyone who wants to have one less aspect to worry about their wedding.

I would have never been able to have my beautiful wedding without Emily & Jasmine from Occasion9. Let me rephrase: I wouldn’t be a satisfied & gloating bride who had one of the most memorable events without Emily & Jasmine from Occasion9.

I know most brides dream of her wedding day & have everything down to the most (un)necessary detail but I was fortunately not one of those brides, or so I thought. From a single simple concept was born a monstrous combination of a need of every beautiful item I saw, the assumption I had a limitless wallet, & the desire for absolute perfection-whatever that was. Emily brought me to reality gently & set everything into motion for things to happen. When I met with Emily from Occasion9, she was straight forward, friendly, energetic, & made me feel comfortable enough to trust her with my big day. I wanted someone who would be able to be on top of it all without burdening me. She made sure I made the important decisions but she was the one to effectively communicate with all the vendors, my husband & me, my family, my bridal party. I wanted a Great Gatsby-esque dinner party in a black & white theme & I got more than that. Jasmine, who took care of the flowers, found a way to make me love flowers (I originally told her I didn’t care for flowers so I’d like use them sparingly). She designed every table with candles & flowers just the way I wanted it-except I didn’t know I wanted it that way until she did it. Jasmine was also nice enough to add more flowers to the church TWO DAYS before the wedding after I watched some ridiculous show on TV. Her sense of style, expertise, & extensive knowledge of flowers & design made a huge impact at my wedding-she knew what would look best where. I really do need to say that my wedding day was one of the most beautiful & joyous moments I’ve had so far in my life. To be unstressed on one of the most stressful days of a woman’s life is not an easy feat but somehow, this team made it happen.

Flowers/centerpieces were very important to us and our wedding flowers came out perfect and exactly as we envisioned! I would not recommend any other florist but Occasion9!

I got married on March 3 of last year 2012 at Tribeca Rooftop in NYC. I worked with Jasmine from Occassion9 and she was one of the best vendors I worked with. I didn't really know anything about flowers and she was very patient with me, working within my budget, answering every single questions and responding to the probably at least 30+ emails I sent her of various flowers and themes.

On the day of the wedding, Occasion9 made my day flow flawlessly arriving extra early and setting up all the flowers and waiting until end of ceremony and setting up reception. I actually had a little wedding emergency while I was getting ready for reception as I realized I forgot to bring a bra for my main reception dress!! Occasion 9 to the rescue! Jasmine sent one of her assistants to go out and purchase one for me right away... WOW now how many people can say their florist can do this? This is how caring and awesome this team is- they will go out of their way to make your wedding PERFECT. Not to mention their quality of flowers is superb- I had orchid danborium as my center pieces and they were absolutely beautiful and their prices just right and so reasonable! Trust me, i shopped around at least 10 different florists until I settled on Occassion9. I highly, highly recommend this flower company.

Jasmine was wonderful to work with. I met with 3 or 4 florist and she was the only one that offered me money saving ideas and alternatives. Her arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and so much better than what I asked for! My friend who is a wedding photographer says my bridal bouquet was the nicest she has ever seen. Jasmine was so sweet and her team worked their magic on my wedding day. Everything was perfect and I barely noticed they were there.

Our flowers were the most beautiful of any wedding we've attended or from any vendor we visited prior to choosing Occasion 9. Jasmine is truly talented and experienced (ask her about her prior works with Martha Stewart). I had a predetermined idea about the type of flowers, colors and designs I wanted for my bouquet, centerpieces and church decorations when I first met Jasmine.. However, I had this feeling to let her have free reign with her creative intuition so I nixed all my samples and gave her pics of the dress and venues. Damn, how happy was I that I did. Everything looked straight out of a fairy tale. The bouquet especially was breathtaking. No one had ever seen anything like it and boy, did we look through several magazines.
Our wedding was a true dream come true.. And Jasmine created the setting. One word of advice for future couples-to-be: dont be so narrow minded with what you THINK you want.. Trust the creative genius to make something truly magical for you!

Occasion 9 provided an amazing service on my wedding day!! My wedding was on january.. And as you can imagin new york in january, it was cold and snowy!! She suggested two bouquet for my outdoor pictures and ceremony, which was an brilliant idea!! My bouquet looked fresh when i walked into the ceremony!! Her deco was beautiful an brought special warmth and uniqness for my wedding!! I would definately recommed occasion 9 for future brides!!

Jasmine has such an aesthetic sense about her. She is very open and works around your budget without compromising quality! She was with me every step of the way and I've recommended her to three of my friends. What's awesome is her fun friendly personality which comes in handy when you're trying to plan a wedding.

Jasmine was so patient with my lack of knowledge of flowers and very helpful in guiding me towards the right choice. Her flowers were absolutely fantastic. Before the wedding, I thought flowers were just another item that you had to do but Jasmine's flowers really made the wedding special.

Occasion 9 made my big day absolutely perfect. When i browsed florists for my wedding, i met 5 vendors/florists. What i got impressed from them, all they were gauging the prices since it was for wedding. However, occasion 9 suggested reasonable amount of flowers and prices. They are the only one giving me the real deal. As all other brides, i was so nervous as days coming. I also got so worried about the decoration and flower since i was kind of out of mind because of the wedding prep overwhelming. Occasion9 voluntarily helped all decorations as well. I thought i had to deal with it by myself but they were doing it for me since they are in charge of decor/flowers. They made me so relaxed and able to focus on myself on my wedding day.
Their flower decoration was just what i imagined and asked. Of course they did put more effort and i loved every single things related flower/decoration they did. They even decorated some others i didn’t even ask or think of before. They took their job serious and i realized i picked the right vendor for my wedding flower. I strongly recommend Occasion 9 for wedding flower!

Occasion9 was so professional, accommodating, and creative. We met with a few other florists and they were more rigid in what they offered and I also felt like I was just another customer. The team at Occasion9 was more than willing to work with my budget and really worked with me to get the look I had envisioned for my wedding. I felt like they took the time to get to know me and my husband and wanted to be a part of our special day. They made samples for us so we would know exactly what to expect and on the day of, they worked tirelessly to make sure everything looked perfect, even staying until the end of the ceremony. They are also super responsive via email which I appreciated. The bouquets and centerpieces turned out so beautifully! Thank you!

My husband and I both said we were the most blown away by our flowers at the wedding. They were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Not only did they decorate the centerpieces that we had discussed, they also decorated our cake, arranged our decor, and made sure everything was set perfectly.

Occassion9 definitely goes above and beyond expectations. Jasmine and her team were incredibly patient and kind, and really listened to us at the flower sample meeting. Despite their busyness during peak wedding season, they were flexible and eager to meet with us again to talk even more.

They are very fun and sweet to work with, and as a designer myself, I can really appreciate how they can take a bride's vision and makes it even more beautiful than she can imagine! :)

I shopped for a florist for my wedding for a long time and always frustrated since most of them were not flexible and didn't seem like time-efficiently working.
Jasmine, the owner/main florist of Occasion 9, was amazing. From the first meeting, she figured out my style and what I was visualizing for the flower decoration in my head. She gave me many tips and advice regarding general wedding prep as well. She was willing to work with my budget which was what the other florists said it's too little and the result was amazing. I'm pretty picky but I was so satisfied with my wedding flower decoration. Thank you Jasmine. :)

I was very disappointed by Jasmine. I had originally met with her after a recommendation by a friend. When we met, she seemed to be very accommodating and was willing to work with my budget. I live in NJ and asked her if she would be able to meet with me in NJ to discuss details and she said she came to NJ often and that would not be a problem. She kept stating that she understands how stressful this time is and that "she is there for me anytime".

Up until I had given her my deposit, she was very prompt with replies with any questions that I had. Once she received all the payments, all of a sudden, she was not able to meet with me in NJ and I had to travel to NY to see her. As the wedding day approached, I wanted to finalize details with her and it would take her several days for her to reply to my texts and emails. Finally when I got a hold of her, her excuse was that she was busy because she had to do a arrangement for a big name jewelry store and that she doesn't usually do arrangements at my asking budget as if she was doing me a huge favor. This was very insulting because upon our first meeting, she made it sound like she had no problem and was willing to work with me. If the budget was too low, she definitely did not show it on our first meeting when she was trying to get my business.

To my surprise, on the day of the wedding, she had sent two of her assistants who I had never even met to arrange my flowers. They did not know the minor details that we had discussed and the arrangements were very disappointing to say the least. All the flowers were wilting by the time my reception had approached and they did not bring enough pins for the boutonnieres so we had to remove some from the bouquets. Overall, the whole experience was very stressful and really not worth all the aggravation. I would never recommend her to anyone.
