When I started looking for someone to do my wedding day makeup, I knew that I wanted a natural look with just enough of a special touch for my big day. I don’t typically wear much makeup, so it was important for me to still look like myself. I am so grateful I connected with Dede because she was the perfect fit!

My skin looked flawless, yet the makeup felt light and let my natural complexion shine through. During my trial, we initially tried a beige-gold eye shadow, but I decided I wanted something a bit rosier with more shimmer for the wedding day. Dede worked with me to find the perfect shade, and I truly felt like the best version of myself — I didn’t want to take my makeup off at the end of the night!

She is a pro; she also did makeup for my mom, my maid of honor, and five bridesmaids and was incredibly efficient. Even my wedding coordinator mentioned how we stayed ahead of schedule basically all day. Everyone loved their look and said the same thing: they felt glamorous but still like themselves.
I was also grateful that Dede knows how to handle New York summers. Despite all of our photos, our ceremony and our cocktail hour all being outdoors in the middle of June, my makeup still looked perfect by the end of the night.

I can’t recommend Dede highly enough, especially if, like me, you’re worried about finding someone who won’t be too heavy-handed. I can't wait to work with her again for future events!

My husband and I hosted a renewal of vows ceremony in New York and I contacted Dede fairly last minute to see if she could come to our AirBnB to do my makeup. She was responsive, communicative, flexible, and created exactly the look I wanted. Her rate was also very affordable. I am in my 40s and wanted something a bit smoky that would look good on an older face and I was very happy with the results. I've known Dede since she did my makeup for my sister's wedding in 2018. When I got engaged and was looking for my vendors, I knew I wanted her to do my makeup for my wedding as well. We did trials, she took feedback like a champ, she made great suggestions, and ultimately my wedding makeup looked INCREDIBLE. I felt like myself, just more beautiful than ever. It also stayed on all night and looked so so good in every single photo. I would recommend her to everyone and anyone. She also did my cousin, sister, and mom's makeup for my wedding and they looked absolutely stunning.

Dede did my make up (on her birthday!) at a friend’s wedding a few years ago. I wasn’t even engaged yet but knew when I got married I would want Dede for my wedding. One of the first vendors I booked, she was responsive, patient and helpful from the start. I’m not a big make up girl, like actually terrified of looking too made up, and Dede made me feel heard and understood. I felt like I could fully trust her. Some of my bridesmaids had a similar approach to their make up, and some were down for full glam. Dede handled it all and everyone of us felt so beautiful! Cannot recommend her enough ❤️

Dede was absolutely wonderful!! I wasn't able to do a trial because I'm not local, but we had a quick FaceTime call the week or so before the wedding, and I went into the day feeling confident that I was in good hands. Dede gave me the natural but elevated look I wanted, and I felt so pretty all day! The airbrush felt like literally nothing was on my skin, which was great because I don't typically wear face makeup, and all the makeup still looked perfect after 5 hours of dancing and humid June weather. Dede is fantastic at what she does and I'm so glad I worked with her!
