Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club is truly a hidden gem and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first toured the property and met Rick Martin, our day-of coordinator at Mystic Dunes, we knew right away that this was the place we had to have our wedding at.

Rick was absolutely fantastic to work with. From the very beginning, the wedding package he offered was truly the best value, better than anything we could have ever imagined. We were incredibly impressed with how much was already included in addition to how beautiful and cozy the space was, creating the perfect, most intimate atmosphere for such a special day. The lush golf course views and greenery, serene surroundings, and romantic spaces made everything feel magical and timeless.

After we booked Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club and started the wedding planning process, anytime we spoke with Rick all throughout it felt like all of our concerns instantly disappeared. He was calm, reassuring, and genuinely invested in making everything perfect for our wedding, which took so much stress off of our plates. Even during our wedding tasting, he was extremely engaged and helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations on dishes, preparation, and final selections that really elevated our menu that our guests are still talking about.

Rick and his staff also did a wonderful job during our rehearsal dinner, making sure both we and our guests were well taken care of. Even when a few guests arrived late, the team went above and beyond by saving them food and drinks from the bar after it had closed and making sure every one of our guests was satisfied and happy.

Our wedding day itself went smoothly and perfectly, again many thanks to Rick and his team. Everything was beautifully set up and ready to go. Rick’s attention to detail and willingness to help went far beyond what we ever expected, such as how he helped steam my veil and bustle my dress before and during the ceremony, and also how he helped with the groom’s boutonniere. While we already knew firsthand that Rick would do (and did) an amazing job, hearing additional feedback from our guests truly sealed it for us. Our guests noticed Rick personally wheeling my grandmother to her seat before the ceremony and even picking up leaves from the aisle by hand, small moments that spoke volumes about his dedication and care.

The entire staff was just as wonderful too. Stephanie was incredible in handling our food, drinks, cake delivery, and anything else that we may have needed (she even offered the groom a drink before the ceremony haha). Esteban was consistently kind, attentive, and accommodating. We had met him a few months earlier when Rick wasn’t onsite, and he was just as welcoming then as he was during our special day. Then during the reception, staff members even stepped in to help expedite the bar line for the groom’s father, which our family truly appreciated. There were several moments like these all throughout the entire day that just made everything that much more wonderful and special.

Overall, Mystic Dunes is a fantastic wedding venue, and Rick and his staff gave us everything we could have asked for and so much more. We are beyond grateful for their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. We wish we could relive our wedding day all over again!

Absolutely AMAZING! We hosted 3 catered events (family luncheon, wedding, and a brunch) and celebrated a family reunion and milestone birthday at Kenzie's during our recent stay at Mystic Dunes. Everything was fabulous! We were so grateful for Rick and his team throughout the weekend. The months of event planning were stress-free and collaborative. Rick heard all of our wishes and ideas and brought them to reality! Our family and friends in attendance had nothing but FABULOUS things to say about the whole experience. For our wedding reception, Stephanie was incredible and made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the night. Everyone on staff for each of our events was welcoming, professional, and energetic! We are forever grateful to Rick, Stephanie, Frank, Megan, David, Jim, Daniel, Elmo, Marie, Esteban, Armando, Jackson, Michael, and everyone else on staff during our stay and celebrations!

Rick and his team did an absolutely amazing job with setting everything up, keeping everything organized and relaxed, and making sure things went smoothly and on time. Everything from the initial consultation, planning meetings, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding day itself was seamless and as stress free as it could possibly be. The venue itself is so beautiful, and the price was MUCH more reasonable than other options we looked at. My husband and I both agreed that our wedding day was the best day of our lives and Rick and his team played a huge role in making that happen. Highly recommend!

Mystic Dunes was an excellent choice for us for our wedding venue. We had a hard time looking for a venue that fit our criteria--specifically, affiliated with a hotel (many guests were coming from out of town), provided in-house catering and bartending, a relatively private event space, and a ceremony location that had a beautiful indoor alternative in case of inclement weather. Mystic Dunes had all of these and more.

All of the spaces provided were so pretty. I was particularly happy with the indoor reception hall, which had beautiful windows and was spacious without feeling empty. I also liked how there was easy access to outdoor and other quiet areas for our older guests. The food was also great; we had a hard time picking what we wanted during our try-out.

Rick, the venue coordinator, was absolutely fantastic, from our first tour to the day of the wedding. He made the process easy, and had great ideas when we weren't sure of what we wanted. During the tour, he was to-the-point and offered us a quote right away, which we appreciated after touring with many long-winded coordinators at other venues. We had an easy time communicating with him as well, and he was super flexible even with super last-minute changes on our end.

There were also some great spots around the outside of the golf club that were fantastic for photos, their garden in the front and the trees with the draping moss made beautiful backdrops.

Overall, I am very happy with our choice of venue. Rick and the staff were fantastic, and it made the wedding a beautiful day.

My daughter was married at the Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club March 1, 2025. From the moment we first toured the property and met Rick Martin, the wedding Event Coordinator, we knew this was the place. And it was better than I could ever have imagined!! Rick was amazing, he was so quick to respond to our questions during the planning process, and on the wedding day he was our rock. His staff is also incredible, they were never bothered with a question or a last minute request to help with an unexpected birthday mini celebration. The location is beautiful - right on the golf course surrounded by beautiful foliage.

Almost everyone attending was from out of state, so it was important for us to have an affordable hotel option - the Hilton on the property was terrific! They gave us a great wedding block discount for our guests and the rooms where very large with full kitchens, living room, balconies, etc. plus the amenities onsite were terrific as well.

All in all, look no further...Mystic Dunes is the one!!

One of the biggest perks of choosing Mystic Dunes was how much they provided—catering, bar, linens, chairs—so we didn’t have to worry about coordinating those details with other vendors. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was, how great the staff was, and how much they loved the space overall. Rick, our day-of coordinator, was extremely professional and ensured that everything looked amazing and ran smoothly. He was also incredibly responsive throughout the planning process whenever I had questions. If you’re looking for a beautiful, stress-free venue with everything you need in one place, I highly recommend Mystic Dunes!

I cant put into words how great our wedding went. We aren't from FL so we planned our wedding virtually. Rick was an amazing director & coordinator. He is patient, stern, informative, playful, imaginative, helpful, and much more. My husband couldn't stop saying how Rick was born to do this. The venue is large and the windows alone really add a grandeur feel to the room. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food. We had people tell us that they were wanting more. Any hiccups that occurred, Rick handled with grace. The staff was amazing and so nice. The guests loved the staff. We would 1000% do it all over again. If you are contemplating between here and somewhere else, just book Mystic Dunes. You really wont regret it!

We had the most incredible experience at Mystic Dunes for our wedding reception! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, offering countless stunning locations for photos, which made our wedding day even more memorable. The venue provides so many amazing options that made it a great value, from a wide selection of linen colors for tablecloths and napkins to gorgeous centerpieces and various other decoration options. We took full advantage of all the choices available and everything came together perfectly.

A huge shoutout to Rick, the wedding coordinator, who truly made our day special. He went above and beyond to help us customize the centerpieces with extra flowers we brought in, taking my inspiration and turning it into a cohesive, beautiful reception space. He even arranged flowers on our wedding cake, which we had initially planned to have our florist do at a much higher cost. Rick was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process, always meeting with us whenever we needed and answering emails promptly.

The food at Mystic Dunes was absolutely phenomenal. We were blown away during our tasting and had a tough time narrowing down our selections because everything was so delicious. My husband even declared it the best wedding food he had ever had! Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the reception was and how amazing the food tasted.

Overall, Mystic Dunes made our wedding day unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. From the beautiful setting to the incredible service and delicious food, it was the perfect place to celebrate our special day. The venue was amazing. We signed our contract with Rick and from the beginning he was amazing. Planning a wedding is very stressful and intimidating, but Rick helped with everything. He is more than just the day of coordinator, he goes above and beyond what he says he will do. He knows how a wedding is supposed to work, he ensures that you are not worried about anything. We arrived a day early and he took every piece of decor from us and made sure it was setup for us. Along with all of his help setting up, he coordinates with the other vendors to keep everything on track. He truly is the best, and makes sure that your day is exactly how you want it. Thank you Rick!
