My wife and I just got the photos from our 2-hr elopement session from Megan, and they are absolutely stunning!!! We love the brightness and warmth in her photos and how she captured us -- there was a nice mix of candids, posed, artsy, and classic shots. As out-of-towners, we didn't really know the area, but Megan and Greg picked the perfect locations for the shoot, and they made us feel at ease during the session.

Megan also does beautiful floral arrangements (we got a bouquet, boutonniere, and floral hair clip from her), and we highly recommend!!!

Just received our photos from Megan. We are blown away. She captured candid photos of our grandparents (and other wedding guests we rarely get to see) that we will cherish forever. She and her team are professional, easy to work with, present for every moment (but silent to get there...no noisy walking or blocking any views!), and simply wonderful. Her style of editing is natural, airy, and timeless, and really looks beautiful on all of our photos. If you need a photographer in San Diego (or elsewhere...she travels!) look no further! My only advice would be to book her for extra hours because she is that good! :)

Candid, emotional, ethereal, artistic, genuine, comfortable - these are a couple of key words I would describe Megan's photography. My husband and I knew we wanted photos that captured the nature of our relationship, and a photographer that enjoyed candid moments as much as we did. We first hired Megan for our engagement shoot in June 2018, and working with her and Greg was so fun! They made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to be our natural selves. The photos turned out everything we wanted. Our wedding was in Maui and we were trying to decide if we should hire a local photographer in Maui who knew the area, but as soon as we saw the engagement photos, we knew Megan was coming to Maui with us. And of course, the wedding photos turned out gorgeous, with romantics suited for a magazine, to candids that really captured the emotions of our wedding day. We cannot speak enough of Megan and Greg's work! We hired My Sun and Stars Co. for our wedding over a year in advance! Megan's work speaks for itself... as soon as we discovered her and her website we knew it was exactly the way we wanted our day to be captured. We did an engagement shoot with Megan exactly a year before our wedding. Megan was able to pick a location for the shoot that had a ton of variety... we even did a bit of climbing! The shoot was exhausting, but so much fun! We had both Megan and Greg shoot our wedding. A hurricane almost changed all of our plans, but Megan was quick to communicate with us the week leading up to our wedding and ensured we would have a backup photographer if she was not able to make the trip to us (we are in VA). In the end, the hurricane missed us and all ended up going as originally planned! My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding photos turned out. There are so many candid moments that were captured and even our "posed" photos do not feel forced. Megan and Greg did an amazing job of capturing our day and we are so thankful that we will be able to look back and relive our wedding over and over again!
