I hired Maggie for makeup and hair services for myself and my bridesmaids. She was so easy to work with and made the whole process simple. Maggie listened to what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like for my wedding day. As well as offer suggestions and change my look slightly when I wasn't sure. After the trial, I was pleased with the results and knew I had the look I wanted for my wedding day. Maggie arrived in a timely manner and completed makeup for myself and two bridesmaids, and hair for myself and three bridesmaids in time for pictures. She also gave me a lip kit and a sponge for touch ups. She was so pleasant to be around while working. We had a small destination wedding in Florida, we were from Ohio she made it easy to communicate with. She made us feel comfortable while also professional. When looking for a makeup artist, I sought someone whose portfolio showed brides that looked “natural but better.” Additionally (and I didn’t know if I would find this), I hoped to find someone who had experience with glasses-wearing brides, as I was planning to wear my glasses on my wedding day. Maggie from My Favorite Makeup and Hair fit all of these criteria. She has a lovely, warm personality and was flexible when I wanted to try different shades and styles during my makeup trial. She did the entire bridal party’s makeup: my two sisters, mom, and three nieces - and we all looked age-appropriate, healthy, and glowing, with fantastic (fake) eyelashes. She also stayed through the ceremony and touched up my makeup and lips between family portrait shots! I felt like such a star :) Our makeup lasted all night - we even looked great in the later night photos, post-dancing! Maggie was awesome to work with! I booked her over the phone and was not disappointed with my decision. She was flexible with my schedule and was able to do my hair and makeup trial a few days before my wedding since I was from out of town. They took the pictures I sent and created a perfect hair and makeup style for me. I had 7 bridesmaids and 2 mothers that were getting hair and makeup done. They accommodated all of us and got us done with lots of time to spare. Everyone looked gorgeous and they were fun to work with all morning. Her prices are great and they can do many different hair types. I would recommend to all brides in the area!!
