Jordan with Mr. Music DJs and Events absolutely blew our expectations out of the water for our wedding. He was extremely professional and truly listened to our wants and needs. He made sure to communicate with all of our vendors to ensure a smooth flow on wedding day, as well as meeting with us prior to the day of, for planning. Not only did he keep the dancefloor full the entire night, he also was able to act as the emcee and guide the entire days worth of activity seamlessly. Our DJ was the biggest priority for our wedding and we cannot thank Jordan enough for going above and beyond. I would HIGHLY recommend Jordan to anyone wanting a DJ/Emcee that will step outside of the typical "wedding songs" and play the songs you are wanting. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would! No need to look any further, just book!

Erin and Jordan were outstanding and made our outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception perfect! They really zoned in on our musical interests and spent time talking with us ahead of time to make sure everything was just right!

My husband and I just got married the 15th of this month at a vineyard in TC and I could not be more impressed by our D.J!!! We live about 5 hours away from Traverse city so we had to book our D.J without ever meeting them which was nerve wrecking because it’s always easier to meet prior so everyone is on the same page. Well, that was no issue at all!! They sent us a ton of information and asked a bunch of questions for our big day that covered everything he needed! That really helped with my nerves. The day of the wedding he kept everyone informed of our next moves for the night,respectful, funny and personable!! He was keeping us laughing, informed and entertained to say the least! Everyone song we wanted him to play he did, and also added some of his own which were a killer hit too! Everyone I’ve talked to since has expressed how amazing he was as well!!! We literally danced and laughed the entire night! He kept checking on my husband and I to make sure we were good. If I could give this company 15 stars I would because they were great!! The coordinator Erin was knowledgeable, and awesome at her job. Every step of the way from booking the service, to payments and a follow up after. Everyone at this company deserves a raise!!’ Highly recommend!!

Mr Music was the best! They were so easy to work with and so responsive! Right from the beginning they made sure our day was everything we wanted - and it was! Every dance we did (including Greek dancing!) was perfect, and they made sure we (the bride and groom) were there for the songs we really wanted to hear. The ceremony sound and reception music was spot on, and everyone had a blast! Would recommend them to anyone getting married in Northern Michigan!

We were so lucky to work with Jordan and Erin! They were great with communication, and eased the stress of wedding planning from out of state. Erin scheduled a call with us 2 weeks before our wedding and made us feel so comfortable by being personable, making recommendations and helping us make decisions about little things that we hadn't even considered. Jordan was our DJ on the day of, and he was incredible. We had friends sing for the precessional and he was there early to help them set up, rehearse, and was able to wire their microphones and keyboard even in the middle of a vineyard. He announced the order of events all evening expertly and played all of the music that we requested (we were determined to have a lively dance floor and Jordan made it happen!). They even helped us navigate tricky family situations with ease, which says a lot about them. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Erin was wonderful getting everything set-up and accommodating our needs for the day, which included a DJ, Emcee, photo booth and video guestbook. Because I hired Mr. Music at one of the local bridal expos, I received a generous discount. Jordan was our DJ the day of the wedding and he was great! He played the music we requested, and kept the party going until the end! Everyone was dancing and having a great time. I highly recommend Mr. Music for any wedding or event.

We had Jordan DJ our wedding and Erin as our day of coordinator for our wedding in July 2017 and they were perfect! They were very responsive in helping us before the wedding coordinate logistics and answer our questions. Our wedding was outside at our parents cottage and we had some concerns with having enough power, Jordan worked with us to figure out what we needed. Everything went super smooth and they are definitely professionals at doing outdoor northern michigan weddings!

DJ: Jordan did a great job playing the songs we had on our list, spliced a first dance song for us, and kept everyone dancing all night. He did a great job making announces but keeping the focus on keeping the music going and did a great job without a big DJ focus. Thanks Jordan!

Day of Coordinator: We can't recommend enough how vital having a day of coordinator was! We wanted to do a lot of the planning ourselves and didn't need a full wedding planner and Erin was exactly what we needed! Erin came for the rehearsal and wedding, she did a great job with all of the things we would have never thought of helped smooth out some on the fly mishaps. Having Erin definitely let us and our parents enjoy the day. Thanks Erin!

Matt and Jordan did an amazing job and my expectations were blown out of the water! The dinner music especially was so perfect -- I feel like we gave broad suggestions, and each song kept getting better and better! And throughout the planning process, Erin was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful. All around, a great experience with Mr. Music DJ - I highly suggest them for any big event!
