Monte Vista Strings and Jazz is a professional group of musicians based out of San Antonio, Texas. This experienced group specializes in live wedding music and entertainment, and is skilled at everything from Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major to Mendelssohn’s Wedding March to the Beatles, Andrea Bocelli, Coldplay and more. All of their musicians are tenured members of the San Antonio and/or Austin Symphony Orchestras. Monte Vista Strings and Jazz is happy to create and customize the performance of your dreams.

Experience
This passionate group of musicians was founded in 2003 by violinist Andrew Small. He, along with a trio of colleagues from the San Antonio Symphony, banded together to perform at weddings all over San Antonio, Austin and the Texas Hill Country. Each member has advanced degrees from schools such as Julliard, the New England Conservatory and Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute of Music. In addition to performing at weddings, they've also had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Broadway and London’s Royal Albert Hall.

They're happy to perform music for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, as well as for your rehearsal dinner. They'll even learn new songs, so your wedding day can be exactly as you envisioned it.
