We booked Moments in Bloom for our wedding at the Carlsbad Windmill, and would recommend a million times!
They were easy to communicate with, and provided an amazing service. I felt like I was constantly emailing Dede with changes, but she was understanding and patient—always reassuring me the florals would be beautiful.
The quality of everything on the day of was outstanding. The bouquets! The centerpieces! The arch! The staircase! The attention to detail!

I worked with Tara from Moments in Bloom for my wedding on November 6, 2021! Tara was an absolute joy to work with! We had our initial consult and right away, she understood my vision and was making recommendations on how to make it come to life! As we got closer, she worked with me a ton as I finalized the final head count and details. I went back and forth quite a bit in those last few weeks and Tara was so helpful in making decisions.

She walked me through how all of the pieces would be reused from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and the reception. On the day of the wedding, she even came into the bridal suite to show me my bouquet and I got choked up because it took my breath away! It was exactly what I dreamt of and more. I thought that was such a sweet gesture to come and show me. It all felt real when I saw my bouquet! As I looked around the ceremony and reception areas, I was blown away at how beautiful everything was.

The next day, when I took home my bouquet and some arrangements, I really got a chance to get a good look at them and I was amazed. The flowers were of exceptional quality and the arrangements and bouquets were detailed to perfection. The flowers from Moments in Bloom made my wedding a dream come true.

She was also very flexible and was able to add on arrangements and change things as I needed for our wedding. Moments in bloom was a recommendation from a coworker of mine, and let me just say I was absolutely blown away! Flowers are a strange thing at a wedding because you know there’s going to be a certain price tag that goes with them, but it is so worth it to create the type of feel for our wedding. I worked with Tara throughout the whole experience and she helped me immensely discussing how to reuse pieces from our ceremony into our reception since our venue had a massive arbor.
I am so glad I took her advice!!! It was absolutely gorgeous! Both the ceremony space and the reception had the exact look I wanted!!! She also did our cake and cake stand which was one of the most elegant looks I’ve ever seen and surpassed my expectations. Our bouquets and all of the bridal party pieces were perfect in color, shape and size!!
I really know very little about flowers and she walked me through colors and shapes and had me send a bunch of pictures of the look I wanted- even of my dress, my decor and the cake stand so that she made sure everything worked together!
When I got home the next day I went through to preserve some of the flowers and it was the first time I got to look at them super close and wow! The quality of these flowers completely surpassed any that I’ve ever seen at a wedding! They even smelled amazing!!!
She really worked with me, a lot, and she did a phenomenal job! I could not recommend her more!!!

This review is less about the beautiful flower arrangements Didi puts together and more about the wonderful type of person that she is. Our wedding was cancelled the day prior to the event due to the Coronavirus. As any future bride can imagine, I was distraught. We had a small event in our backyard as a replacement. Didi not only still put together some of our arrangements but put together some with different colors and different flowers that looked less weddingy as she feared wedding flowers could make our day much worse. That was by far the most kindhearted, generous act I could imagine from a wedding vendor. In addition, she returned us what money should could (for labor, delivery, etc.) and we couldn't be more thankful. Moral of the story, her flowers are absolutely beautiful and perhaps more importantly, she is the type of person you'll want to have supporting you on your big day!

Let me start by saying that flowers ended up being one of the most stressful components of wedding planning for me because I had no idea how pricey flowers are. With that said, Dede at Moments in Bloom, went out of her way to work with my budget AND still make my vision come to life. Moments in Bloom really overdelivered on the day of. There were flowers everywhere and gorgeous blooms - huge, blooming roses (no buds or small roses), in beautiful colors (blush, mauve, champagne, ivory), hydrangea and greens that really complemented the venue. I had a mix of round and banquet tables and so had a mix of centerpieces and garlands. The garlands were FULL and gorgeous. I really didn't want pink (think baby shower girl pink) and there was no pink! :) I LOVED my bouquet, peonies, roses, and gardenia (my request). I was that annoying bride who kept looking at more and more Pinterest and IG photos, confusing myself more and more and likely annoying the vendor, but Dede never showed it - she was so sweet and patient throughout. She is so great to work with AND delivers a gorgeous product. I am super happy with the flowers and can't believe I was so stressed out about it. The guests are still gushing about them! Thank you, Dede!

Moments in Bloom created the most beautiful flower arrangements for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. We chose the bright tropical package and it was even better than expected. Dede was amazing in customizing our request and so nice to work with.

Tara from Moments in Bloom was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I had some very loose ideas of what we wanted initially, and she helped us a lot with some ideas to get started. Once I started poking around Pinterest I found a bouquet I really loved, sent her a picture, and that's exactly what showed up on the wedding day! She tied together all the flowers with the colors we gave her flawlessly. I was stunned when I saw the arch for the ceremony- it turned out more beautiful than I could ever have imagined! The guests at our wedding took almost as many pictures of the flowers as they did us. :) Tara was so sweet and easy to work with, and never once complained about the many, many emails I sent her. I would definitely recommend Moments in Bloom! :)

The flowers at our wedding were absolutely stunning. Moments in Bloom exceeded my expectations! Tara was so friendly & easy to work with. We had a budget to stick to & she was great at offering suggestions on where to save without sacrificing aesthetics. At our initial consultation, I showed her images from my pinterest board and we went from there. There was one image in particular that I loved, and Tara nailed it. So many guests came up to me the day of, and since, to tell me how beautiful my flowers were. I was very worried about making our venue beautiful since it was DIY, but after seeing the bouquets, my worries vanished. The flowers completely transformed the space and made my wedding day every bit as beautiful as I had hoped!
