Just WOW! Mary is absolutely amazing! From our first zoom call to the end of our wedding day, she was nothing short of fabulous!

Our first zoom call I immediately could feel her passion for her work and the care that she puts in to making your day special. She was always so prompt to respond to questions. I was a bit nervous on the engagement shoot, but by the end it felt great! This really helped us to create a bond and be prepared for the wedding day.

Mary is absolutely amazing! Not only is she an excellent and extremely talented photographer, she is a great person and treats her clients like friends. It was really important to us to have vendors that we connected with - especially our photographer as we knew we would spend a lot of our special day with them! The minute we met Mary she put us at ease. She is extremely organized and she knows what she is doing. She structures everything throughout the whole wedding planning process so that it goes smoothly and painlessly on the wedding day. Wedding planning was extremely stressful for me but Mary was such a huge help throughout the process that it gave me one less thing to worry about. On top of all of that, Mary makes getting your picture taken fun! I'm very self conscious and she pumped us both up until we were just enjoying the moment and each other. I cannot say enough about how much I love Mary and MKL!!! She is amazing! Her photo quality and style is BEAUTIFUL! She comes to the table with not only her irreplaceable photography skills, but her time management/organizational skills. She is like a wedding coordinator and photographer all in one! My fiance and I had our engagement pictures done with Mary from MKL images in August 2015. Our situation was a little different from most and Mary was very helpful, patient, and understanding through the entire process!! My fiance is in the Navy and had a port visit in San Diego in August. I flew out to meet him and was only able to be there a week before returning home. We knew that we would have a very short window to get our pictures done and that there was a high probability that he may have to work during my time out in San Diego. I had to switch dates a couple times and Mary was SO accommodating. Knowing we had a short window she even kept two days open for us in case something should come up! I was a little nervous to fly across the country and get pictures taken, but Mary made it so easy. She provided detailed information and answered all my questions graciously. Most of the time I had a response within an hour of sending her a question (and there were many!). She made me feel very comfortable and ready for our shoot.
The day of our pictures my fiancé and I were very excited, but also had no idea what we were doing. I had provided Mary with a Pinterest page of ideas that she kept with her throughout the shoot to help guide us and ensure that all the pictures we wanted to take had been done. For the most part, we left the poses up to her and her artistic ability! She made us feel very comfortable and was very personable with us. She even took the time to get to know our story and share hers with us. We had so much fun taking our pictures that the session flew by! We didn’t want it to end! Throughout the session it was easy to tell how passionate Mary is about photography. She got so excited over some of the shots and even when we were all done and walking back to our cars if she saw a scene she liked, she had us get out there and take more pictures! Some of these ended up among our favorite shots! Thank you for making this everything we dreamed of!

I found Mary from seeing a friend's wedding pictures. I reached out to Mary and knew the second i spoke with her that she would be my photographer and I couldn't be happier! She was confident and willing to help me along the way. She was willing to work with my videographer and even met with us at the venue to go over the game plan. During the day Mary & her assistant were on point; better than my coordinator! Our day was really rushed but we got some great pictures and she was super encouraging the whole time. I loved that she took control of the day to make sure we had everything under control! She also worked very well with my videographer, which was really important to me and I was pleased that they shared the day in a professional way. I am very happy I went with Mary! I am blown away by Mary! She's quite simply the best. Our engagement photos turned out amazing! But not only that, Mary is the fantastic because she responds quickly to emails, is easy going but efficient, and loves photography!

I found Mary on the knot website and emailed her to find out more. At the time, I had emailed a few others photographers but after to speaking with them all, Mary was my favorite. She was professional, understood my wedding vision, and made me feel at ease. Mary and I have emailed numerous times since I've hired her as my photographer and she always responds quickly. When it was time for our engagement photos, I was nervous- engagement photos seem awkward to me. As soon as Mary started shooting, she made us feel comfortable. I cannot adequately put into words how incredible Mary is as a person, but even more so as a photographer. She was upbeat, enthusiastic, encouraging and overall just a fabulous person to work with. Our package included engagement photos in which she helped our vision of swanky, bar shots come to life. She is amazing at what she does. At our wedding, we fell behind timeline wise and yet Mary stayed positive and somehow was able to still capture almost every photo we had requested. Just a few days after our wedding, she posted a few sneak peek photos and we were beyond thrilled with not just the speedy turn-around, but the quality and beauty oh the photos she captured from our day.
