Miriam is an absolute delight to work with! My husband and I had a BEAUTIFUL, loving, and meaningful ceremony and it's in large part thanks to Miriam’s officiating skills and guidance!

She did an amazing job corralling our families during the rehearsal run-through and the day of the wedding did a wonderful job officiating. She knew when to adjust positioning/staging as to not interfere with our photographer; and had perfect pacing, voice projection, clear diction, etc. Tonally, she was able to strike a fine balance between being sentimental while keeping things lively and fun.

Miriam not only did an amazing job officiating at the wedding, but she also put countless hours into helping us build a ceremony that was special and made just for us. Shortly after hiring Miriam, she met with us over zoom to walk us through the process step by step. Over the course of the wedding planning period, she helped us build a very personalized ceremony that was sweet and sincere without being overly stuffy and outdated. We loved all her suggestions and the options she provided us for language and the structure of the ceremony. We especially loved the suggestion of the ring warming ceremony - this was a new idea to us, and we loved how we were able to make the ceremony more interactive for our guests.

Hiring Miriam made our Mount Holyoke wedding extra special, because she is also a moho alum! It was so nice to have our officiant be someone with MHC connections and who loved our venue as much as we did. I wouldn't go back and change a thing; it was everything I wanted for my wedding ceremony and more!

When we were planning our wedding we originally thought of just asking a friend to marry us. But after learning more about what a good officiant can offer we were incredibly happy to have changed plans and gone with Miriam! Miriam perfectly balanced being both professional and also getting to know us as a couple and individuals. She was very friendly and always a joy to talk to in our calls. Miriam separately reviewed both our private and public vows, gave us feedback to make sure both our tones were the same, and took care of dropping off the paperwork to make the marriage official. We knew we picked the right person when our friends asked us afterwards how long we had to look to find an officiant with the same sense of humor as us. We would absolutely recommend Miriam to anyone asking!

Miri was an integral part of our elopement. She is so easy to talk to, so warm and welcoming. I cannot thank her enough for her flexibility to marry us outside at the park where we had our first date, even with the bitter cold and snow. Miriam was amazing! We had a moved up ceremony so my Dad could be a part of it and she was so helpful in making that happen for us. She was flexible with the timing and things that we wanted and was open to what made it feel personal to us.
