We cannot recommend Mikkel enough. Picking a photographer for our wedding was stressful as we are both uncomfortable taking photos and being in front of the camera. From our very first meeting with Mikkel we felt extremely comfortable and taken care of. Mikkel is warm, attentive, organized, and has a great attention to detail. From the many meetings during the planning process to a fast turnaround of FANTASTIC photos that captured every moment of the evening, she truly exceeded all of our expectations. She made every guest feel comfortable and was an amazing presence on the day of to get every shot we wanted. We cannot sing her praises enough!

Wow, where to begin? Mikkel is AMAZING and worth every penny. She photographed my sister’s wedding several years ago and ever since then, I knew she would be the only choice to photograph mine one day. She is unbelievably organized, attentive to detail, able to make sure everyone sticks to the timeline, has such a quick turnaround time with photos and every single photo is just absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and is so extremely talented. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or better images to remember our day!!!!!

Mikkel was more than just our photographer, she was a partner to us for the wedding as a whole! We had a destination wedding on the new Disney cruise ship, the Wish, and while it was an amazing time there were definitely challenges to planning a destination wedding at a brand new venue that we couldn't see until the wedding trip itself. Mikkel has a strong network of contacts in the industry that kept her informed of the ship and logistics and she ended up being more helpful to us than our Disney wedding coordinator! She checked in multiple times throughout our wedding planning on photography things such as the timeline, but also helped in providing her opinion on things like the bridesmaid dresses, the locations for the first look, and was generally helpful with her wealth of knowledge of Disney Cruise Line weddings to bounce ideas off of. Her pictures were INCREDIBLE! The quality, coloring, angles, lighting, everything about them is absolutely perfect. But most importantly, she is such a warm and happy person to work with that we felt incredibly comfortable posing in front of her for hours on end! We also had the luxury of her husband helping us a bit too and they were such a team, working together in the hot Bahamian sun quickly and effectively without even needing to direct each other most of the time to maximize how many pictures we could get before the sweat ruined our dress/suit/hair! Another attribute of Mikkel's that's worth mentioning is her flexibility. We took pictures with her the days before and after our wedding in addition to the big day, and our plan and timeline for the full weekend was completely in flux due to the chaos of our venue. If that caused issues for Mikkel, we never knew as she was upbeat and positive and leaned into every challenge that came our way. Honestly I could go on and on about her, she's exactly who we needed for our wedding and I am so grateful that we found her. If you are considering Mikkel, stop thinking about it and just book her - you won't regret it!

After looking at a variety of photographers, Mikkel's work immediately stood out to us. She beautifully captures movement and energy, and even her “posed” photos look natural and fluid. This was extremely important to us because we wanted to make sure that our photographs captured the joy and emotion of our big day. On the day of our wedding, Mikkel was calm, fun, and professional. She captured everything we wanted and more. We are not used to being in front of the camera and Mikkel quickly helped us feel at ease, like taking pictures with a friend. Working with Mikkel over the last year has been such a pleasure. She is kind, attentive, organized, responsive, professional, resourceful, and very skilled. We used Mikkel for our engagement shoot as well as for our wedding. Prior to both our engagement shoot and our wedding, she made a detailed plan, outlining the locations we would go to. This made both occasions smooth and seamless. Mikkel made my life easier leading up to my wedding, too, as she reached out to my other vendors to ensure they were all on the same page and everyone knew the logistics. Mikkel is also very level headed, which is so important for a wedding photographer. Her presence is very calming and she made sure I was relaxed and happy the entire day of my wedding, even when we fell behind schedule due to a transportation hiccup. Chances are, something is not going to go as planned on your wedding day. I'm so grateful that Mikkel was there to remedy the situation. She really is the best and I would hire her again!

Mikkel Paige’s talent and professionalism are second to none. Our photos were featured in blogs, on wedding sites, etc.; we were so proud of the quality of the photos and of the special moments she captured. Miss Paige even took the time to resend our photos to us (years later) after I had lost several images due to my own error. You will not regret choosing her as your photographer, I promise.

Mikkel was truly amazing! She was very professional, responsive and an overall great person to work with. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and she was very accommodating and sympathetic as it was a very stressful time. Her artistic vision definitely showed through her work - the pictures and album came out amazing and we were more than pleased with it. We will always have these wonderful memories to look at through the years and we cannot wait to hire her for future events to come!!!

If I could give 1,000 stars, I would! Mikkel made our wedding day in every way possible. Her organization and care to detail are unmatched, as is her ability to keep calm and pivot when things don't exactly go according to plan. You must use Mikkel if you want a photographer who can spot the perfect locations for a shoot, keep on track, make your bridal party and family members at ease and, of course, give you the most incredible wedding photos ever. She really went the extra mile and then some. PICK HER AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

We knew that the photos would be the one thing we could cherish forever for our intimate ceremony and Mikkel made sure that they were perfect.
