Our work as wedding and family photographers is a big, beautiful part of who we are. We are storytellers. We tell stories of people and families in love, choosing to do so because we believe these moments in everyone’s lives spark the most beautiful, fearless, and real emotions -- images that will be a time capsule for the beauty and joy of life. Images that will serve as a reminder to our clients for the rest of their lives how GOOD and how beautiful life is.
We are honored to photograph and film every wedding and family and humbly thank the Lord for the opportunity to capture so much authenticity and beauty.

Can't Wait To Work With Their Team Forever
We had the absolute best experience with Michelle Lawson Photography for both our engagement photos and our wedding photography and videography.
From the very beginning, the entire team was incredible. With a two-year engagement, we really had the opportunity to get to know them, which made the experience feel even more personal and seamless.
Steve was our photographer for our engagement session and our lead photographer on our wedding day, and he was amazing to work with. Not only did he capture everything beautifully, but he also helped us build out our timeline and brought such a great, calming energy to the day.
We chose the unlimited package, and I would recommend it to anyone. Having the team with us for 11 hours meant we were able to fully enjoy the day while they captured every moment so thoughtfully and effortlessly.
Jacob also went above and beyond. He created a preview reel for us during dinner with footage from earlier in the day, and it completely blew us away. It was such a special moment to experience everything we had just lived through in real time.
What truly sets this team apart is how they make you feel. They’re professional, talented, and incredibly detail-oriented, but they also make you feel so comfortable, like you’re spending the day with old friends who just happen to know exactly how to capture you at your best.
We’re so grateful for them and couldn’t recommend Michelle Lawson Photography more. We will DEFINITELY be staying in touch and having them capture all our life moments forever.

Steve set the tone for the entire day
Steve Lawson with Michelle Lawson Photography was everything we could have asked for in a photographer and more. From the very beginning, his personality stood out as exactly what we were looking for.
He brought the energy, the pizzaz, and a sense of fun that made everyone feel comfortable right away. He had our entire wedding party and family laughing, relaxed, and fully present in the moment. That kind of presence is rare, and it made a huge difference in how the entire day felt.

I couldn’t recommend this group enough. Even so much so that I have guest from my wedding waiting to request them for their weddings!! We had the pleasure of working with Steve and Jacob, the best duo out there!!! Steve knew what I needed before I could even say it. Any nerves I had that day were instantly gone when they were around. I am truly so thankful for Michelle Lawson photo and video. There are too many good things to say about this team, I can’t wait to use them again for my next life event. If you get the chance to work with them, consider yourself lucky. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!

Best wedding photography ever
We hired Rob (photographer) and Jacob (videographer) from the Michelle Lawson team, and I truly can't recommend them enough! They showed up at the very start of our day to capture me (the bride) and my moms getting ready together, and the photos were so sweet!
Rob & Jacob absolutely CRUSHED our wedding photos/videos, and it's so nice to have these memories captured in such a beautiful way. They both knew exactly how to pose us to get the right shot, and had such a great sense of humour that they had us cracking up the whole time! They made the photoshoot so much fun, and you can tell how genuine our smiles were as a result :)
I love how they even took the time to capture photos of all of our wedding guests as well. 10/10 would hire them again!

The BEST photography/videography team hands down!!!!
Steve and his team are beyond incredible!!!!! We cannot recommend Michelle Lawson Photography enough!!! From start to finish, they were absolutely incredible to work with. Not only are they insanely talented, but they also made us feel completely comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
On the wedding day, they were professional, organized, and somehow everywhere at once — capturing every little detail and moment without ever feeling intrusive. They blended seamlessly into the day while still guiding us when needed so everything flowed perfectly.
We saw little sneak peaks at photos and videos and we cannot believe the stunning job they did!!! They are true masters of the art!!!! Every image is absolutely gorgeous and full of emotion. We truly felt they captured every moment and we cannot wait to see the final photos and video! Even our guests complimented how amazing they were! If you’re looking for a team who genuinely cares, is unbelievably skilled, and will give you memories to treasure forever, this is it. We are so grateful we chose them for our big day!

“The Balls” Wedding
My husband and I had our wedding this past January and as someone who works in social media/photography myself, I was really looking for the right photographer to capture our special day but also help keep things flowing. I was recommended Michelle Lawson Photography by friends, specifically Caleb, and am so happy we chose to work with them! Caleb and his team were not only professional and flexible but also genuinely such good people and they really took the lead with posing all the family and bridal party. The photos came out amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer and positive day of experience!

Awesome experience
Justin and Ella were absolutely amazing! From start to finish, they were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. They made us feel so comfortable the entire day and were truly dedicated to capturing every special moment. Their energy and warmth made such a difference, and even with some of our family not speaking English, communication was never a barrier—they made everyone feel included and at ease. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers for our wedding. Highly recommend them!

Incredible Talent, Energy, and Heart 📸
We booked Michelle Lawson Photography after seeing the incredible work Steve did at a friend’s wedding, and from the very beginning, we knew we made the right choice.
Steve was an absolute dream to work with. He made sure every detail and every shot was perfect, while still keeping the entire day fun, relaxed, and stress-free. His attention to detail is unmatched, and his creative vision is truly something special. He took the time to make sure he captured all of the meaningful shots we wanted, and after that, we trusted him and his team completely. The rest was magic.
On top of being an incredible photographer, Steve is truly a man of many talents. He even helped me with my bustle, which says everything you need to know about the level of care and dedication he brings to his couples. His secondary photographer, Lucas, was amazing as well. Together, they brought so much energy, humor, and enthusiasm to the day, which made taking photos feel effortless and genuinely fun.
Steve and his team are full of heart, passion, and a true love for what they do, and it shows in every moment they capture. We felt so supported, comfortable, and confident knowing they were there documenting one of the most important days of our lives.

I wish we could give more than 5 stars
We truly had the best experience with Michelle Lawson Photography. Steve and Josh shot our wedding, and I really cannot put into words how great our photos turned out. They stayed with us all day. They were with us for the getting ready photos and stayed through our grand exit. We know it was a long and exhausting day, but they kept the energy up alllllll night. They remembered to get shots that we had forgotten about. Steve and Josh you guys are the best!
We felt like we got more than a photographer. They handled our wedding like they were our family. Putting so much care into all of the details of our day. We received so many compliments from our guests. We highly recommend adding on the photo booth as well. Our guests had so much fun with this. Our biggest regret is not adding on the video package. So if you are in between truly just book it.
Also, the turn around time on our photos was literally insane. Both of my sisters waited at least double the time for their wedding photos (their weddings were clearly before we met the Michelle Lawson team).
We love you Michelle Lawson Photography and we will be cherishing your photos forever!
