Grateful to have worked with Megan Rose Events

I could not have made a better decision than to work with Megan Rose Events for our November 2020 wedding. I first spoke with Megan in January 2020 and knew she was the perfect fit. She was professional, asked the right questions, and most importantly, was lovely and easy to talk to.

During the planning process, she was a huge help and always had a thoughtful answer or offered to find out more on whatever I was looking for and report back. Her response time was always quick, which is essential in the planning process.

As we got closer to our wedding date, there was still so much uncertainty due to the global pandemic. We had to quickly decide if we would postpone our wedding or move forward and scale down. We could not have made this difficult decision without Megan. She was up to date on regulations, walked us through our options, and offered creative ways to make it similar to our original vision. In the end, we decided to scale down and have an intimate ceremony and dinner with 20 of our closest family and friends. It was a perfect weekend!

I completely trusted Megan to take care of the smaller details on the day of our wedding. I was relaxed and able to enjoy our special day!

After the wedding weekend, all our guests mentioned how spectacular all the little things were and how smoothly everything went. There were no issues, and that is all thanks to Megan.

All in all, there is nothing I would have changed throughout this planning process. Megan is the perfect addition to any wedding, and we are profoundly grateful to have had the pleasure of working with her!

Megan Rose Events was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. We had a very tight timeline for our wedding planning for our wedding at the Rosewood Miramar, we could not have chosen a more perfect partner. Megan personally handled all the planning for our wedding, and as she was already scheduled for another wedding, she and passed the execution of our wedding rehearsal and actual wedding to KB Events, which occurred perfectly and flawlessly. As we interacted with the rest of our vendors, it quickly became known that Megan has an incredible reputation in the wedding industry which we witnessed first hand. Megan Rose Events far exceeded our expectations and know she will do the same for you. Megan is extremely polite, organized, professional and does many of the behind the scene tasks herself in order to not inundate you with details. Megan has a lot of heart and we look forward to remaining in touch with her as a friend for years to come.

Love working with Megan

Megan is the absolute best wedding coordinator who goes the extra mile to ensure your big day is run as smoothly as possible. She manages any obstacles that might arise. She is easy to work with and very friendly in manner. It shows how deeply she cares about her clients and vendors she works with in how she listens, always being professional throughout the whole process. Megan checks in with everyone (bridal party, vendors, family, etc.) to ensure that there is no question unanswered or need that has not been met. Always with a smile on her face, she is knowledgeable, and pays attention to every single detail, no matter how small. I highly recommend Megan to anyone who is looking for a beautifully run, stress-free wedding day.

Meet Megan - never met a process she couldn’t optimize or a space she couldn’t transform.

You’ll never guess what I did before I became a luxury wedding planner. (No literally—you’ll never guess.) With a background in engineering, I spent 11 years in the Operations and Supply Chain field with my most recent role as the Director of Global Supply Chain for a water-filter manufacturer. (Told you.) I had reached the pinnacle of my career—but was nowhere near fulfilled. So I pulled the plug and followed my passion—which led me to a career as an event planner at a high-end catering company, where I spent time learning from the best of the best before launching Megan Rose Events.

My background in the corporate world saw me immersed in operations, logistics, process efficiency, and budgeting for over a decade—while my time working under some of the most respected wedding planners in the industry gave me incredible insight into what it takes to produce multifaceted wedding weekends. Combine all of that with my type-A knack for organization and my creative spirit—and I am officially the wedding planner who protects your budget as fiercely as I do the integrity of a place setting.

Today, few things bring me joy like creating an experience that allows you and your guests to immerse yourselves in this spectacular location and simply enjoy each other. I know I’ve done my job when we’re deep into your reception, and I look at you and know: you have no idea what time it is or where your phone is—and you couldn’t care less, because you’re having the time of your life.

Meet Nelson - a big-picture, big-solutions kind-of guy

In my past life, I was both a Hotshot firefighter and a project manager for a high-end Santa Barbara home builder—so I’m right at home amongst intense pressure, complicated challenges, and multiple moving parts (so many moving parts).

As I watched my wife follow her passion into the world of destination wedding planning, it didn’t take long to realize: being a wedding planner is the ultimate nexus between creativity and project-management (two skills I happen to have in spades). So I threw caution to the wind and joined her—and here’s where I say: I am so glad I did.

I love getting into the flow on your wedding day—and using my calm-under-pressure demeanor and knack for creative problem solving to keep things running smoothly on the surface (no matter how hard we may be pedaling below). Whether I’m negotiating with a vendor, reading a contract with a sharp eye, or executing complicated production logistics on a tight timeframe—getting to act as your advocate, while working alongside my wife, is as rewarding as it gets.
