I stumbled upon these guys when watching one of their couple’s highlight film on YouTube (trying to do some recon on a venue) and I just fell in love. I felt like I knew the couple and were a part of their wedding day, all from a 10 min video!! Are you kidding me?? I thought these people must be magic.

So I looked them up, and just from their website I was hooked. The organization, the personality, the perfectly planned photo/film packages, impeccable. Immediately shot them an email and within a day we had our first meeting booked.

Talk about a killer husband & wife duo! We knew we wanted a team that was there to capture the day, more candid and thoughtful than a big to do, and that is Bonnie and Jon. Boy are my husband and I so glad we chose them to document our wedding. Not only are they so professional and punctual, they are also the funniest and most down to earth people you will ever meet! We felt like we’ve all been friends for years. This comfort translated through every single interaction we had with them. From virtual meetings to talk about plans, to the engagement shoot right where he proposed, and through out our entire 12 hour wedding day!!! They never missed a beat and truly made us feel like rockstars.

Now the photos and films….Holy Moly they KILLLEDDD IT!!! So much joy and love. They literally captured every inch of our day and portrayed it with so much beauty and authenticity, it’s beyond impressive. We couldn’t stop scrolling through all of the photos and our 35mm film that Jon took… STUNNING! We don't know how were are gonna narrow any of them down into an album?! (FYI they offer stunning albums too). Thankfully we get to keep a digital copy of all the edited photos and films (hosted for a year on the best website ever, so easy to use!). PLUS they mailed us the sweetest personalized package of all our edited and raw data on the cutest hard drive 🤩. And Bonnie CRUSHED our films. Literally screamed and cried up a storm!!! From the sneak peak quick video to the Highlight film…. A LITERAL MOVIE!! Absolutely perfect. The warmth, the joy, the HUMOR!! 😂 Obsessed is an understatement. We’re saving our Full Documentary Edit video for our first anniversary as a way to relive the best day of our lives.

So so so so grateful for BonJon and their tremendous gifts. They were the best part of our entire wedding journey. We can’t thank them enough for their amazing work. What just a pure ball of love they both have been and have brought to us. Forever grateful for the dream team!!!

I’ll admit, I went back and forth on whether wedding videography was truly worth the investment—until I discovered Bonnie.

From the moment I saw her work, I knew to look no further—we had to book Bonnie to capture our wedding day. Her films go far beyond simply documenting events; they tell a story. As the Director of Sales & Events at a Midcoast Maine wedding venue, I had the pleasure of working with Bonnie & Jon last year when one of our couples hired them. As fellow wedding vendors they were both wonderful professionals to work with, but the way they worked together as a team was really something special...they seemed to have an unspoken communication and moved quietly though the wedding day in such a way as to always be on the periphery and never taking away from the lived experience of the couple or their guests. I was truly impressed with their manner of working. It only got better from there... To say that I was blown away by the wedding video they created would be an understatement. You simply have to watch some of their work yourself to experience the true technical skill AND ART that goes into their creations! They way they seamlessly blend the highlight moments from throughout the day while interspersing spoken sections with beautiful music is truly out of this world.

So of course I started following them on Instagram...

Watching their posts and videos through the months really gave me an insight into who they are as people, and let me tell you, THEY ARE HILARIOUS! They have a phenomenal sense of humor and a unique way of viewing life - they truly appreciate the small seemingly insignificant moments and know how to perfectly capture them, showing us all that there really are no small moments if you're really paying attention ;)

So, of course when it came time to plan my daughter's wedding in September, we immediately knew who we wanted to book for their videographer, and we were so excited that they were available on our date! We just watched the full-length video last weekend, and I was amazed by how sharp the images were as well as how clear all of audio was - you could hear every word! The music was perfectly timed. The drone footage was absolutely incredible. Tears were flowing afresh as we relived those precious moments while noticing so many small details we had been oblivious to in those emotional real time experiences. We will ABSOLUTLEY CHERISH this video for the rest of our lives!

So, if you want a few video snapshots of your wedding, ask your Uncle Joe to whip out his phone and "make sure he gets the I do's".

The best decision we made. Bonnie and Jon are not only incredible artists, but amazing, funny, kind, thoughtful people, which is SO important on your wedding day! So many wedding films we've seen are cheesy and dare I say, cringe, so we searched high and low to find someone who would capture our day authentically. Bonnie and Jon did that and more, turning our wedding weekend into a beautiful, genuinely funny, soulful film we can rewatch forever. They care deeply about their work, and put a ton of effort into getting to know the couples they work with. They are professionals, and, a total blast to be around. Do not hesitate. We instantly fell in love with Bonnie and Jon’s work and knew we would never find a better photo and video team. Once we saw the personality and intentionality they put behind capturing a couple’s wedding we were over the moon (pun intended) excited to see how they would tell our story. Not only did they deliver on amazing quality and story-telling, but Bonnie and Jon were the sweetest and most easy going to work with. Our day never felt interrupted or intruded on. Having had the chance to get to know them through wedding planning and our engagement shoot, it was truly just like they were part of all our family and friends. Once we watched our wedding video, we kept re-watching it, amazed at how we could never verbalize what we specifically wanted, but they entirely delivered. It was such an easy decision from the beginning to work with Mars and The Moon because of how beautiful their work is, and how thoughtful they are as people. Working with the Mars and The Moon team was truly out-of-this-world! We loved their work so much so that we actually moved our wedding weekend by a week to ensure they were available. Not only are they creatively super talented, but they are also incredibly kind and funny people who have become our friends through this journey. Before the wedding, they do a thorough job trying to understand the couple’s vibe and what’s important to them in their wedding photo + film. IMO, it is a big financial investment but Bon & Jon are absolutely worth it. They bend backwards (sometimes LITERALLY) to make sure those special moments are captured. We had a Desi/American fusion wedding with two wedding events and a lot of moving parts but the Bon/Jon team made sure we were feeling good, and timelines were on track. After the wedding, they did an awesome job communicating when we would receive our sneak peaks/trailer/full gallery/films. Overall, we are so happy they were a part of our wedding celebration!!! Cannot recommend them enough :)
