Fabulous! Spectacular! Sensational! There are simply not enough words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Bonnie and Jon. We wanted our day to feel authentically us — not posed or staged. Just oozing with love, emotion, and joy. Our photos and wedding video do all of the above and more. Aside from their fabulous work, Bonnie and Jon are just stellar humans. They're thoughtful, funny, kind, and make you feel like your special day is in the best of hands. Choosing your wedding photographer/videographer is arguably the most important hire you'll make while planning, and we would have them on our team again and again. They are wizards at what they do! -

Team BonJon!!
I stumbled upon these guys when watching one of their couple’s highlight film on YouTube (trying to do some recon on a venue) and I just fell in love. I felt like I knew the couple and were a part of their wedding day, all from a 10 min video!! Are you kidding me?? I thought these people must be magic.
So I looked them up, and just from their website I was hooked. The organization, the personality, the perfectly planned photo/film packages, impeccable. Immediately shot them an email and within a day we had our first meeting booked.
Talk about a killer husband & wife duo! We knew we wanted a team that was there to capture the day, more candid and thoughtful than a big to do, and that is Bonnie and Jon. Boy are my husband and I so glad we chose them to document our wedding. Not only are they so professional and punctual, they are also the funniest and most down to earth people you will ever meet! We felt like we’ve all been friends for years. This comfort translated through every single interaction we had with them. From virtual meetings to talk about plans, to the engagement shoot right where he proposed, and through out our entire 12 hour wedding day!!! They never missed a beat and truly made us feel like rockstars.
Now the photos and films….Holy Moly they KILLLEDDD IT!!! So much joy and love. They literally captured every inch of our day and portrayed it with so much beauty and authenticity, it’s beyond impressive. We couldn’t stop scrolling through all of the photos and our 35mm film that Jon took… STUNNING! We don't know how were are gonna narrow any of them down into an album?! (FYI they offer stunning albums too). Thankfully we get to keep a digital copy of all the edited photos and films (hosted for a year on the best website ever, so easy to use!). PLUS they mailed us the sweetest personalized package of all our edited and raw data on the cutest hard drive 🤩. And Bonnie CRUSHED our films. Literally screamed and cried up a storm!!! From the sneak peak quick video to the Highlight film…. A LITERAL MOVIE!! Absolutely perfect. The warmth, the joy, the HUMOR!! 😂 Obsessed is an understatement. We’re saving our Full Documentary Edit video for our first anniversary as a way to relive the best day of our lives.
So so so so grateful for BonJon and their tremendous gifts. They were the best part of our entire wedding journey. We can’t thank them enough for their amazing work. What just a pure ball of love they both have been and have brought to us. Forever grateful for the dream team!!!
RUN don’t walk to them for your special day, I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!!!

We instantly fell in love with Bonnie and Jon’s work and knew we would never find a better photo and video team. Once we saw the personality and intentionality they put behind capturing a couple’s wedding we were over the moon (pun intended) excited to see how they would tell our story. Not only did they deliver on amazing quality and story-telling, but Bonnie and Jon were the sweetest and most easy going to work with. Our day never felt interrupted or intruded on. Having had the chance to get to know them through wedding planning and our engagement shoot, it was truly just like they were part of all our family and friends. Once we watched our wedding video, we kept re-watching it, amazed at how we could never verbalize what we specifically wanted, but they entirely delivered. It has been nearly a year since our wedding and we can’t stop looking at our photos and rewatching our videos. You can be confident that the investment you are making is undoubtedly worth it. -

Bon + Jon are out of this world!!!
Working with the Mars and The Moon team was truly out-of-this-world! We loved their work so much so that we actually moved our wedding weekend by a week to ensure they were available. Not only are they creatively super talented, but they are also incredibly kind and funny people who have become our friends through this journey. Before the wedding, they do a thorough job trying to understand the couple’s vibe and what’s important to them in their wedding photo + film. IMO, it is a big financial investment but Bon & Jon are absolutely worth it. They bend backwards (sometimes LITERALLY) to make sure those special moments are captured. We had a Desi/American fusion wedding with two wedding events and a lot of moving parts but the Bon/Jon team made sure we were feeling good, and timelines were on track. After the wedding, they did an awesome job communicating when we would receive our sneak peaks/trailer/full gallery/films. Overall, we are so happy they were a part of our wedding celebration!!! Cannot recommend them enough :) -

The best decision I have ever made.
Words cannot explain what a huge fan I am of Bonnie and Jon. As we began planning our wedding, we knew we would need a photographer and videographer that understood the assignment. We were not looking to have a day filled with pauses and photo breaks, but rather an authentic, vibrant, natural day that happened to have incredible moments captured organically. If I weren’t (LITERALLY SO) excited about Bonnie and Jon being there as guests, I would have forgotten they were there entirely as they were so non-invasive and professional. Bonnie and Jon wore many hats for our day, they served as wedding planners as they helped keep us on schedule, comedic relief as they brought their amazing personalities and creative geniuses as they knew just what to capture. I knew from the moment I came across their work that they were unique and exactly what we needed and they did not disappoint. When you work with these two fantastic people, you can expect work that is elevated, artistic, exactly what you value and deeply emotionally informed. I would recommend Bonnie and Jon to everyone having a wedding in New England, they are worth it!! Wow! We are OVERWHELMINGLY happy with the entire process of working with Bonnie at Mars and the Moon Films. I am SO impressed with our highlight reel - absolutely love it. My wife and I knew we would like our video based on the prior videos we saw online, but I was happier with the outcome than I could have expected. It is perfectly “us” and captures everything we could have asked for and more. I love the style and creativity, the music is perfect, and it is definitely tailored to our personalities. Plus the film made us, our family, and even our friends laugh and cry and smile.
And, we enjoyed working with them from pre-booking to post-wedding. Bonnie was patient, professional, and *fun* to work and chat with. There was a perfect balance of professionalism but also quirky fun that we enjoyed right from the start. She answered *lots* of questions from me and asked all the right questions of us - I think this was essential to be able to tailor our video to our unique personalities with her awesome style and touch.
Even though our wedding was in Florida, and Bonnie is now out of New England, Bonnie was available, responsive, and always on top of things. Plus, Jamie and the Mars and Moon on-site filming team were amazing. They were professional but fun; we could tell that they were happy to be there. They made things like getting mic’d up and extra shots seamless and easy. They got all the right shots, made us feel comfortable (so important!), and never got in the way.
I could go on-and-on: every aspect of our experience with Mars and the Moon Films was amazing. You can tell Bonnie has lots of experience and is an absolute pro and goes above and beyond. 100% recommend! Thank you! -

Where do we even begin?! From the moment we met Bonnie and Jon, we knew they were perfect for us! Our engagement session was fantastic. It felt as if we were all just friends who were hanging out. Most importantly on our wedding day, they made sure to capture all the wonderful moments, big and small. The greatest thing we did was make them our photographer/videographer! They made their way around everywhere, basically ninjas! They made the moments being captured, feel so natural. They truly are the best in the whole galaxy! Although the reason we would over and over again recommend them, is because our wedding day it’s self was everything we wanted, but there was a ton of disappointment with other vendors. The detailed points of our wedding such as our reception, cake cutting, dancing, DJ, amongst many other factors, made us feel as if our day wasn’t as we had always imagined it to be. Bonnie and Jon though, just wow. Here’s the thing, our sneak peek we got…it was stunning, made it seem as if our day truly was a fairytale with no issues. All the special moments caught with our friends and family were captured effortlessly. They truly make magic with their lens. Every time I watch our sneak preview video, I ball my eyes out, tears of joy of course! We can’t even begin to imagine what the finished products will look like. We just know it’s going to be absolutely amazing reliving our wedding day all over again. Best investment of our lives! Please do yourself a favor and book them! You will not be disappointed! Bonnie & Jon were the first vendors we hired (with the exception of the venue). We knew immediately that they were just what we were looking for. They are both so passionate about what they do, and for people like us that are not used to being in front of a camera, they made us feel so comfortable and confident. We were truly able to be ourselves around them, and they became more like friends. To this day, my friends are still complimenting how wonderful our photographer and videographer were (are)! We loved that Bonnie & Jon did both of our photography and videography. They work so well together and really feed off of each other's positive, fun, quirky energies. Jon and Bonnie were so great to work with from the very start. We met a couple times before the wedding to talk through our style and what we wanted for our big day. We made a schedule to plan out how best to utilize the time we had with them, and they showed us some ideas they had to make the photos really memorable and unique. They are not only extremely talented, but they are just downright good people. They were fun to have for our wedding weekend, and our guests appreciated their ability to get people feeling more natural and loosening up for photos. Bonnie and Jon were perfect on our wedding day, present but not in the way. They didn't over pose us and they let us be ourselves. They offered help when we needed it and gave us space to experience every moment organically. Our photos and video footage came out so stunning and still make me cry tears of joy every time I go look at them. Family, friends and people I don't even know swoon over our wedding photos and video and it's because we truly had THE best team in the game. We freaking love Bonnie and Jon and now consider them friends. Not only are they ridiculously talented, but they are also simply great people who know how to have a good time. My husband and I were very picky when it came to hiring a videographer for our wedding. We knew what we wanted and spent many nights watching highlight reels from countless videographers without much luck. Then along came Bonnie. After browsing her work, we knew we'd found the perfect person to capture our special day and she definitely exceeded our expectations! We were one of the many weddings that were postponed due to the pandemic. We pushed our wedding back twice and finally landed on a date almost a year after our original wedding was planned. Bonnie was very accommodating and worked with us throughout the year to make sure that we didn't miss a beat. Come wedding day, Bonnie arrived and it was almost like seeing an old friend again. We immediately clicked and it honestly just felt like she was one of the gang hanging out with the bridal party. The day and night went by and we never had to worry about what was being filmed because Bonnie captured everything without us even knowing. The video that we got in return left us speechless. You'd think we had hired an entire production team! Bonnie didn't just capture our wedding day, she captured the story of us and for that we are forever grateful. It's one thing to be a great videographer but it's another thing to be a great storyteller and Bonnie is the perfect mix of both. We can't say enough good things about Bonnie and highly recommend her for anyone getting ready to tie the knot! -

Where do I begin?! We hired Bonnie and Jon in the fall of last year for our October 2020 wedding. At the time we were based out of Chicago so we didn't have the chance to meet Bonnie and Jon in person before our wedding, however, they were so accommodating and had several phone calls with us to make sure we understood their services. Like many others, COVID changed our wedding plans and our wedding went from 150 guests to just 16. It was important that our day still felt just as special as we had been planning it for the last year and part of that was still having Bonnie and Jon document the day. BOY DID THEY DELIVER! Not only did they set up a live stream for our guests but somehow they made the photos and videos feel like this was a full-sized wedding!! We received all of our photos and videos on time (in fact, even earlier than planned) and we are in love with each and every one of them. Bonnie and Jon truly felt like an extension of our celebration that day, so much so that they've even become friends of ours! I truly cannot recommend their services enough. If you want QUALITY video and photos from our special day, look no further! -

We really couldn’t recommend Bonnie and Jon enough to anyone who is looking to capture every amazing detail of their wedding day. We have literally watched our wedding preview video at least 10000 times. My friends and even distant relatives have said it made them cry. I don’t even understand how talent like this can exist but I am grateful from the bottom of my heart that we found them. They also just made our wedding day feel so fun and easy! I almost felt stressed that I wasn’t stressed enough! That is how awesome this team was. We hired Bonnie and Jon to do the video and photos for our wedding. When I say that we couldn’t be happier, I mean that. They are professional, thoughtful, caring, and true artists. Jon perfectly captured moments that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and Bonnies videography skills are truly unparalleled. In the years to come when we grow old together and actual memories fade, we flip through these photos or watch our video and relive this day, all because of these two. They gave us so much more than pictures and a video. They gave us the gift of stopping time in it’s tracks to preserve some of the most special moments of our lives. They were hands down the most important part of our day. If we had to do it all again we would hire them a thousand times over.

Having Team BonJon there to capture our wedding day was the best investment we could have made. They guided us through the photography and videography planning, helped us with a timeline for the day and were honestly essential to not only helping make the day perfect, but letting us relive it for years. And the final product they delivered? Absolutely Flawless. They captured the essence of who we are as a couple through little moments and brought them to the center stage. They got to know our personalities and you can see it shine in the photos and videos and they were so easy to work with through the entire process. I don’t even know where to begin with Bonnie and Jon aka team BonJon. They are the most talented videographers I have ever seen and I am so happy we hired them for our wedding.
First off, Bonnie and Jon are the most chill and friendly people ever. They don’t make you feel like they’re in your face. You can tell they genuinely LOVE doing their jobs and they know what they’re doing. It is their passion and it shows in the way they work together AND in the product they produce.
The entire day they were so focused and involved in making sure that not only we were comfortable but in Making sure they got all of the right shots so that our wedding video was absolutely perfect.
On top of all this, they had our “sneak preview” video complete in LESS THAN 24 HOURS! .... and it was the greatest sneak preview I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot of wedding videos. We have literally watched it over 100 times.
My husband was hesitant about hiring a videographer when we first started planning our wedding and I basically put my foot down on that decision and assured him that he would be happy with the money spent and after he saw the way that Bonnie and Jon worked at the wedding and saw the sneak preview he straight up admitted to me that he was so happy I didn’t listen to him and hired a videographer anyway.
Since the wedding I have recommended them to tons of couples getting married.
It’s so great to not only know the vendor you’re working with is phenomenal at their jobs, but that they are also simply amazing people.

Bonnie was AMAZING! If you are reading this, you are probably looking for a videographer to capture your wedding, Well you can stop looking and reading a million other reviews because you have found THE ONE! After looking at Bonnie's work, I just knew I found my wedding videographer. After my mom and I met Bonnie for coffee, I knew my intuition was correct. Bonnie was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, and having someone who makes you feel comfortable, is important. Bonnie does just that. Now for the BIG DAY, both Bonnie and Jon, were AWESOME! I can't say enough good things. She came prepared with a plan and helpful suggestions. I received so many compliments following the wedding about how wonderful our sneak peak video was (which we received only several days after the wedding!) I literally had no words when the entire highlight film and raw footage arrived in my mailbox with a cute card, tissues, and wine. Bonnie captured our wedding day perfectly, giving me all the feels. This video is something I will cherish forever, and can't thank Bonnie enough for how great they all turned out. THANK YOU! -

Bonnie and Jon blessed my fiancé and I with an absolutely amazing gift. While at the Florida Wedding Expo, we entered into their free engagement session put on by the both of them. They eventually picked us and the rest is history. Hailee and I just got back our video and photos. Absolutely blown away by the creativity and the passion that these two display in their work. I don’t know where to start with how amazing Bonnie is. I looked for months to find the perfect videographer to capture our special day and I couldn’t be happier that we chose Bonnie. What can I say about Bonnie that I haven't emotionally already blurted out to her on wedding day?
From first meeting Bonnie over some whiskey to get to know each other, we have been blessed with her on our team. We knew immediately that the three of us would fit perfectly together. I made my husband watch 15 videos (which I narrowed down from like 100 honestly), a couple of which were the same vendor with multiple videos. Both times he picked Bonnie's, and even watched one of them more than once, half crying and saying 'I DON'T EVEN KNOW THESE PEOPLE'. Bonnie has a style all her own, and is growing and developing it every day. As a person, she's a perfect angel. Incredibly responsive, super encouraging, everything you could ask for. And on wedding day, she made us feel like rockstars, constantly inspiring us to be genuine in front of the cameras. She worked alongside our photographer team (The Porto's). Honestly, sometimes it felt like the cameras weren't even there because both of them worked with us so effortlessly. Bonnie recently sent us a teaser (damn you!), and I lose it every time I watch it. Everyone who has seen it has been S H O C K E D by the quality and magic of it.
So here's the takeaway... DEFINITELY hire a videographer, because you'll be so glad you did and you won't regret it. Unless you book anyone other than Bonnie. ;) -

She is incredible, just INCREDIBLE!!
I can't say enough good things about Bonnie Newman. Her work is very professional and great final product. Her creative touch to the videos is great too. She was so easy to work with and has a nice upbeat personality. She captured every moment and composed it like a blockbuster movie!! I would recommended her to anyone, she is well worth the money and puts the care into every little detail. Thank you again Bonnie for your great footage that we will have for a lifetime! -

From the first phone call inquiry to receiving our wedding video, every correspondence was prompt and professional. I knew from our face to face meeting that I had made the right decision. Bonnie was lighthearted, funny, and someone who genuinely loved what she did. She was prompt and personable and meshed well with all our guests, capturing every one of them on video. Bonnie did not only our wedding video, but also a boudoir video for my husband and also a video of our rehearsal party. Everyone was blown away by our wedding video, including us and I'm so thankful we hired her. We were so impressed how she was able to capture it all, everything from small details like decorations, flowers on the ground, cakes and dessert, to bigger events like the actual ceremony, speeches and dancing. It was all put together in the most wonderful way, telling the story of our love, and the final product was perfect. Our wedding video is the thing we cherish most from our wedding. Being able to relive every moment while watching it is the best thing ever and we are beyond thankful to Bonnie for capturing it all perfectly.
