Honestly, Marissa’s work is worth at least triple of what she charges. She was so delightful to work with, and you can tell she guenuinely loves what she does. She has a carefree and relaxed attitude, but is still extremely efficient and organized. She is also super talkative and warm, which is awesome, especially for people who feel awkward taking pictures (like me!). I was really nervous beforehand about the engagement shoot, because I get self-conscious about pictures sometimes, but she made Josh and I both feel so relaxed and good about ourselves. Marissa was calm, confident, and caring throughout the whole process of wedding planning, and she relieved any stress I had about the photos. On the wedding day, Marissa and her partner facilitated group photos, like family, bridal party, etc. so well and made that whole process super quick but not rushed (literally how?). After the ceremony, she pulled Josh and I away for pictures, and after she was finished, she encouraged us to just walk around by ourselves and catch our breath before entering the ceremony. It was so thoughtful and sweet for Josh and I to savor that moment alone and slow down during the rush of the wedding day. And THE PHOTOS. WOW. I was overwhelmed by how many she sent me! And not just the quantity, but the quality of the shots — all edited so beautifully. She was everything I was looking for and more. YA’LL. Snatch her up!

Marissa was so amazing! My wedding was originally scheduled for June 13, 2020. And we had to push it back to November 6th and I was so lucky to keep her! She had such fun ideas for photos. She made me feel so comfortable behind the camera. She did our engagements, my bridal portraits and our wedding photos. All of my wedding party talked about how great she was! She even sent me like 10-15 pictures of the wedding like 2-3 days after. It was definitely needed after all the stress and planning to be able to see the pictures right after! I would highly recommend her!

Marissa is legit AMAZING!!!!! Her work speaks for itself but it’s all the extra things she does that makes the biggest difference. She is always available for any questions whether is photo related or just wedding questions in general. The day of, her and her assistant went above and beyond what i hired them for to make sure my fiancé and I had the best possible day! so many things went wrong that was out of our control and they always had a solution. From making sure my photos were perfect to coaching me and my bridal party on how the ceremony should go as far as walking and keeping our pace(none of us had any idea what we were doing).All of my vendors were great, but marissa was the only one that exceeded my expectations.She is worth every penny i spent!❤️

The short story is that we cancelled our big wedding in California and last minute decided to elope at a park in Dallas with no photographer. I knew of Marissa and loved her style and the work she produced. So, I tried my luck and asked her last minute if she could shoot our day before the pandemic shut down even our small 10 person event. SHE SAID YES ;) Obviously, there was disappointment in not being able to have our loved ones present but Marissa was able to capture the raw beauty of that magical day at the park. She went the extra mile to make me comfortable and happy and it was the greatest and most unexpected blessing that day. Marissa is a natural with photography so I felt she wasn't in my face with a camera but just mindfully and peacefully doing her craft that day. The photographs are truly the most beautiful memory for us that are perfectly captured on film. Thank you Marissa for blessing us with that on our special day.

We did not intend to hire a photographer for our big day. At the last minute, we decided that the investment was important and we set out to find the perfect photographer that fit our budget. Luckily, I ran into Marissa’s page and was in awe of what she captured and immediately messaged her to find out if she was available. I heard back from her right away and knew she would be the one we would use. Marissa took the time to meet us and learn what she could about our relationship which made us feel like she actually cared. Our wedding day came and she was even sweeter in person. She made us feel incredibly comfortable and everything just flowed naturally. Like any other wedding, some things did not go the way we thought they would but, our photographer was not one of those things. She took the time to send us a sample gallery the very next day. I still can’t believe how incredible the photographs are. Thank you thank you Marissa. You are incredible and we are so blessed to have had you.

My husband and I are not picture people. But we have families that are picture people and wanted our engagement and wedding to be well documented. Marissa was so much fun! I actually enjoyed the engagement shoot and taking the wedding photos because we were all laughing so much. As someone who has been in many wedding parties, the family photos are usually the worst part of the day. It usually takes such a long time to get through them all. Marissa got our picture list ahead of time and was able to corral the crowd of family (my husband has 8 siblings) and get us through the family photos in a fast yet fun and cherishing way. It was the best experience I have ever had in regards to the traditional wedding family photos. At the end of the day, I am glad we listened to our mothers and got a photographer. Marissa took clean, sharp images that captured what we wanted to remember from our wedding all while keeping us genuinely happy throughout the process. All I can say really is thank you, Marissa.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Marissa. She takes beautiful photos with one-of-a-kind shots, she makes everyone feel comfortable and care-free, and she's willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I loved every second of my engagement shoot, my mini wedding (boo COVID-19), and she will be photographing my large wedding in December. I would highly recommend Marissa for your wedding!

Marissa is an amazing photographer who does above and beyond. I absolutely loved working with her and her work is incredible. Our pictures came out perfectly and they are so beautiful! When I first saw Marissa's photos, I fell in love with her style. She was extremely friendly and professional with us, and our consultation with her was amazing -- she asked us so many pertinent questions and helped us with the timeline to orchestrate the perfect photos.
On the day of, Marissa was calming and friendly with our family and friends, and adapted quickly when everyone wanted photos with us during dance time!
We got a beautiful sample gallery right after our wedding, and just got the rest of our photos and WOW. There were way more photos than I expected, and all of them were so beautiful (a great combination between formal images as well as candid shots of us and our loved ones that made me tear up all over again. Marissa is amazing! My husband and I got our engagement and wedding photos done with her, and she is the absolute sweetest and best person to work with. She made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, she was super helpful, and she made our wedding day 10x more fun! Marissa is a big fan of first looks, and let me tell ya - it's definitely the way to go! We loved our first look as it gave us that intimate time to just be together away from all the rush and craziness of the day. Marissa went above and beyond during the entire wedding planning process and much more during our wedding day.
