Maris did a phenomenal job working with us for our wedding photos. She was the first photographer I saw that really advertised being inclusive, and that was really important to me. Being able to meet with her ahead of time for an engagement shoot really helped my partner and I get comfortable with being in front of the camera, and really helped us to make the most of our time on the wedding day. She really advocated for us to have the day that we wanted, and was just an all around joy to work with. We got our teaser photos back lightning fast too, and they were so emotional to see, she did a great job capturing our special bond. Thank you Maris!!

Maris took both our engagement and wedding photos. She was so fun to work with and our photos look incredible! She was dancing along with us all night and made everyone feel super comfortable while taking photos. I would definitely recommend Maris to anyone looking for a photographer!

We loved working with her and her shots are stunning. For reference, we had a fall wedding and she captured the foliage perfectly. Maris is an incredible photographer who perfectly balances fun with professionalism! She did a great job wrangling all our family members together for pictures after our ceremony, and was great with the little kids too. She's super receptive and open to your thoughts about pictures, posing, and even moods/editing ideas of the photos. She really cares about your experience and wedding as a whole, and we would recommend her one million times over!

Maris is a PHENOMENAL photographer. I am so glad we booked her for our wedding photos. Her communication is on point, from first contact to booking services/signing contract to the day of the event. She has a great personality and asked great questions to get us the shots we didn't even know we wanted but now know we couldn't do without. We had a super long engagement and met with her a little over a year before our wedding to do Save the Date photos in lieu of engagement photos. It was a great experience and we knew we were in good hands.

On the day of our wedding, she collaborated seamlessly with our videographer and the venue owner to make things as easy as possible for me and my bridesmaids. She even got my nieces to smile and stand still for our group photo, which is unheard of!

My bridesmaid who has been in/attended approximately one thousand weddings (love you, Sarah!) said Maris was the best photographer she'd ever worked with. I agree wholeheartedly.

Maris has a great eye for composing an awesome photograph and it was so nice to be able to trust a professional to get things done. She gave great instruction and made it so easy for us. Maris did an AMAZING job at my wedding! She was able to work with us from the get-go since we were not in the area to take engagement photos with her. She made it so easy on our end to make sure we got the photos we needed without stressing about it day of. Maris is WONDERFUL! My husband and I were supposed to have our wedding in August 2020. It was postponed to 2021 due to covid, but we got married anyways on our original date. Not knowing what the future would look like and if we’d ever be able to celebrate with our friends and family, we hired a photographer and videographer for our August 2020 mini-wedding. Unfortunately, we had a completely disappointing experience with those vendors. Feeling discouraged, I began looking for a new photographer in February 2021 for our August 2021 wedding. I immediately found Maris and was so excited! I LOVED the way she communicated. She listened so closely and so patiently to my past experiences and really took it to heart as she prepared for our big wedding in August 2021. She went above and beyond in learning about my husband and I, what our hopes and dreams were for our photos, what is meaningful to us, what specific things we wanted captured, etc. She even bought a special lens to capture the sparkle of my dress better because she knows how much I LOVE sparkle!! She also did an “engagement” photo session with us a month before our 2021 wedding. We had the best time getting to know her! This helped us tremendously as we felt so comfortable and excited to work with her on our wedding day. Maris and I communicated a ton leading up to the wedding day, and she did not forget anything! She remembered every little detail and pose I wanted captured. She continued to communicate beautifully with us on our wedding day. I LOVED that she showed me pictures she took throughout the day to make sure I was happy with what she was capturing. She paid super close attention to my insecurities throughout the entire day and made sure she was capturing photos that made me feel beautiful. She also brought her second photographer, Gary, along with her, who was awesome! Maris and Gary worked together perfectly and truly contributed to the joy of the day. My family and bridal party raved about Maris and Gary all day! We LOVED their creativity, their joy, their professionalism, but also their fun personalities! We cannot recommend Maris and Gary enough and can’t wait to see our wedding photos!!
