Marietta Country Club just did my son and his bride's reception on June 1. They are amazing. We used all the ballrooms upstairs and the outdoor porch and had a 100% perfect event. I can not say enough good things about MCC. First and foremost....their Chef and food are fantastic. When you are doing a reception...the food quality is just SO important.

I have had guest after guest send me comments that this was the best wedding food they had ever had. We did buffets and the food was phenomenal. It was flying off the table and people just loved every bite! We are members of MCC and have never had anything but fabulous food there. The value for your dollar spent is simply top notch, and we have been to all of Atlanta's "best" venues.

The passed appetizers and bar service were excellent. I have also had loads of guests call me to tell me how professional the wait staff service was... they really noticed that. The staff worked their tails off...first on set up, then during the reception, then on take down. They are all so good and very nice people to work with.

MCC has lovely ballrooms for a wedding. The rooms looked wonderful when set up. Guests reallly enjoyed being on the porch with a bar to chat and watch some golf. (we did an afternoon reception).

The head of Events/Catering, Janice Marsh, and her team, Kelli and Jean were so great to work with. They are very nice, and so professional. They know their business!! You can't go wrong holding your wedding reception and/or wedding here.

If you are a member or can find a sponsor to host your wedding at MCC, I would highly recommend it.

The Marietta Country Club off of Stilesboro Road in Kennesaw was the most picturesque and beautiful country club for which I could have asked. Their staff was incredibly talented, kind, courteous, helpful, and prompt in their interactions with us. They worked well with all of our other vendors and hosted a magnificent reception for our wedding. Their food is delicious and we received many compliments on the breakfast buffet / lunch which we had for our afternoon reception. The venue has a gorgeous dining area with chandeliers, large mirrors, and plenty of room for comfortably seating guests. There are windows lining the reception area and thus you can enjoy the gorgeous view of the golf course and Kennesaw Mountain in the horizon (considering the time of day of course.) Our weather was absolutely beautiful and people enjoyed hanging out on the covered porch that extended the length of the building. The venue was just perfect and beautiful and all the people who helped us were extremely competent and skilled at hosting such events! We highly recommend the Marietta Country Club!!!

Coordinator was a DISASTER. Pretty venue and the food is good, but for god's sake BRING IN YOUR OWN WEDDING PLANNER. Do not let them book other events around your wedding, they will walk all over you. I lost my ballroom and they put my reception in a BAR. Make sure you sit down and make your own schedule for how you want things to go down. Fight with them if you need to, they'll give you what you want, but it always seemed to be a fight with them
