Everyone at the wedding loved the flavors of the food. I was scared that we weren’t going to have enough for our reception but we had more than enough food. The service staff were very friendly as well.

This was my best choice as far as vendors for the whole wedding. The food exceeded my expectations and was for a great price. I created my own a la carte menu and they were very accommodating to my needs. People are still talking about the mahi mahi tempura that we had ordered. Will go to them first if I ever need to cater again.

Marians catered my wedding and the food was great! I wanted something local but also wanted to offer the mainland folks something that they would eat and feel full on. So i had to order rice and mash, also potato salad and toss salad! Guests were happy so that is the main thing. When checking out places, i liked that they offered to give me a plate to sample their food. Ordering was easy and i picked out my own menu. Their prices are quite affordable too.

Marian's delivered. We were able to easily set up a food tasting, that included popular items from their menu. The food was delicious. They were able to provide appetizers (Pupus), a custom Hawaiian buffet that included teriyaki chicken, meat, chicken long rice, lomi lomi salmon and fresh pineapples, as well as the tables for the food, cake, DJ, head table etc. With their services, we were able to hire bartenders for the cocktail hour and reception. Marians' was on time and were able to set up the chairs for the ceremony and umbrella's for the cocktail hour in a timely manner. During the planning process, they were easy to contact and negotiate with.

I went with Marian’s because they were the best value, but I’m glad I did because everyone said the food was really good. As most brides, I didn’t get to eat much during the reception. I ordered the Japanese menu and we got a lot of food at a great price. They waived the delivery fee because of the size of our order.

I only had 2 issues with them: 1) I called and asked if I could move up the delivery 30 minutes a few weeks before. One person said no problem, but when they called to confirm the day prior, they didn’t see my request in the reservation so...oh well. Not a big deal but it made hectic for my day of coordinator. 2) The delivery almost drove away with 3 pans of my order. When my coordinator checked the invoice he noticed and had to chase down the delivery driver. The driver was irritated which made my coordinator believe it was intentional. And one of those pans was the sashimi (which isn’t cheap). So word of caution...check your order before they drive off.

All in all, food is great...value is great... but watch out for their delivery people.

When planning our destination wedding in Hawaii we had to do everything online or over the phone. When we were searching for a caterer we only could go by customer reviews since we couldn’t try anything ourselves. Reviews for Marian’s catering did not disappoint. They have different catering options but we decided to go with the traditional Hawaiian menu and it was the best Hawaiian food we had all week. All our guest continue to tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. They have a wide variety for all different type of eaters and are very accommodating as we had some people who were gluten free. The price is what is even more amazing. For 70 people it was only about $30 a head and we had 3 different meat entrees, salad, noodles, and rice. This price also included two servers to deliver, set up and help serve the buffet line and clean up within a 5 hour window. Make Marian’s your first choice for Hawaiian catering.
