Couldn't have been more perfect

My niece got married and used Marcia Selden Catering for all of it. There were three days of events where catering was needed. It seemed as if it was all of the same staff that worked all of them. They were all friendly, accommodating, and very professional. By the end of it all, I felt as if we had known all of them forever. That was really cool. The plethora of passed apps, dinner buffet, cocktails, and the the brunch buffet were THE best catered food I have ever had in my entire life and 30+ year career in the food and beverage industry. Me and my party that I came with (one of which owns a catering company in another state) were totally blown away. I live on the other side of the country now. But, the Selden’s food made me feel completely at “home” again. Truly impressive. I highly recommend them for any of your occasions.

Simply wow.
I wanted to be able to not stress, sit back, relax and enjoy my event.
Marcia Selden Catering went above and beyond to make that happen.
No minor detail was overlooked and their professionalism was unmatched.
The food was amazing, the staff were phenomenal.
Melinda was wonderful at orchestrating the entire event and Stacey was the star of the show.
Flawless. I'm looking forward to booking them again.

Marcia & Co. catered my wedding at the Meadowlands at the Darien Community Center on May 5th, 2012. It is an understatement to say that everything they provided exceeded my expectations. The staff was courteous and efficient, the food was out of this world, and Jennifer Reilly managed the event with aplomb. We are still getting compliments on both the Asian and pasta stations, variety and flavor of the passed appetizers, the perfectly cooked beef filets (and the plate presentation), and the scrumptious chocolate milkshake shooters. Jennifer Reilly served as our point person and coordinator and she was fabulous. She was on top of all the details and managed the event so everything went smoothly. She was really fantastic to work with and I would recommend Marcia Selden Catering services to anyone!

Full service with a smile. Marcia and team put on a wonderful performance from the proposal, to the flowers, table settings, staff- just all of it was executed flawlessly. THE FOOD- who can forget that- its what everyone talks about after an event- All of the food from the cocktail hour to dessert- YUM- was just amazing.

Marsha, Robin and Staff are wonderful. Their staff is professional, attentive and will go out of their way to make your event a hassle free good time. The food selection is varied and delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend Marsha Selden.

Quite simply, the best in town! and out of town. Consummate professionals, extremely easy to work with...not to mention their food is exquisite! Robin, Marcia and Jennifer run a team of players that is sure to exceed any of your expectations! I'm very proud to have worked with them and I look forward to more events with Marcia Selden Catering!

Our event planner was very pushy and overwhelming to work with. She didn't listen to what I wanted, but kept pushing for other things that she had done in the past. That was very frustrating to me because I worked on the event planning side of a catering business in the past. The day of our wedding, the food was great and everything was taken care of. I just got to sit back and relax.
