Amazing Food & Incredible Service

My husband and I just recently got married at the Garden at the Hops in Derby, CT. Dave Grant Caterers was one of the preferred vendors recommended by the venue and it was easy to see why! We booked last summer with Dave; he was very responsive to our emails and made the menu planning an exciting and easy process. Not only were his options affordable, but the food was absolutely delicious!!! We keep getting feedback from our friends and family who raved about the food! Crowd favorite hors d'oeuvres were definitely the philly eggrolls, snow crab rangoons, and the bacon wrapped scallops. Dave's team was so professional, kind, and incredibly hard working. They made everything run so smoothly, including serving 210 guests buffet-style!!! They also were frequently checking in on my husband and I to make sure we got enough to eat!! Can't say enough positive things about our experience- highly recommend Dave Grant Caterers for their amazing value and delicious food.

Delicious!!

David’s food was delicious!! We did pub food because we were getting married at a brewery and everything came out amazing! From the passed appetizers to the buffet style dinner, we loved it all! He was responsive and fairly priced and did a great job setting up and cleaning! Thank you for making our day unforgettable!

Amazing Food

We recently got married at The Hops Company in Derby, CT and David Grant Caterers did a fantastic job with our buffet. We had a wide assortment of hors d'oeuvres that everyone loved! Fan favorites were the bacon wrapped scallops, philly egg rolls, and caprese skewer. For dinner, our buffet consisted of seasonal veggies, potatoes, rolls, balsamic glazed chicken, marinated flank steak, and penne vodka. The flank stead was served with gravy or horseradish on the side, both were delicious! I was very happy with the quality, affordability, and professionalism of this caterer. Thanks so much for helping make my wedding a memorable experience! Oh, I also appreciated the wait staff making sure the bride and groom were brought hors d'oeuvres while photo taking, it was so considerate and much appreciated!

Amazing food, stress free planning

David Grant Caterers was a highlight of my wedding. The food was absolutely amazing, the planning was super stress free, and his staff was top notch professionals! His team constantly check in on me as the bride for food and drinks, kept the tables clear and the assisted with all the set up and break down at our venue. They also booked and set the up chair rentals for my on site wedding so it really was as stress free as possible! The price was also great!! Well worth it! Do yourself a favor and book this caterer!

Amazing food!

The venue we used had recommended David Grants Catering and we could not have been more pleased. David was so nice to work with and very accommodating. His staff the day of the wedding was very friendly & attentive. They set up our bar & dinner service beautifully, they added extra detail to our dessert table, popcorn and pretzel bar! The guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was!

We can't recommend Dave & his team enough!

Dave & his team were absolutely phenomenal. We used Dave Grant Catering for our August wedding. Dave was one of the most responsive vendors we worked with - answering my list of questions during our initial phone call, and responding my email always within 24 hours. Dave was flexible in creating appetizers for our cocktail that we felt fit our theme/venue perfectly. Our guests had so many kind things to say about the appetizers and dinner - everything was hot and fresh. Dave himself is excellent to work with, and his staff meet the same standard. Will was the event manager at our wedding and he made sure everything was perfect. One of the waitresses, Alexis, was an absolute gem, making me a plate during cocktail hour to make sure I ate as well. We can't recommend Dave and his team enough and are so grateful that they were available to be a part of our wedding day.

Amazing food for our June 2021 wedding

We absolutely loved the food at our wedding from David Grant Caterers. Everything about our experience with them was amazing. Dave was very easy to work with, very responsive, and worked with us to come up with the perfect menu. He even worked with our dessert caterer to coordinate everything for the big day. The staff at the event were also lovely and friendly. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced and we cannot recommend them enough. Everyone gave us so many complements for our food!

Outstanding

David Grant is outstanding. He is easy to talk to, very flexible, and he knows the catering business. His staff is experienced, pleasant, helpful and courteous. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable too! We have worked with other caterers, and David Grant is as good as it gets. He gets an A+ from me for customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a caterer.

Excellent food! Dave is very flexible and was willing to make anything that I asked for even if it was not on his regular menu. He also helped accommodate children with chicken fingers and Mac and cheese. All of the drinks were taken care of. I especially enjoyed the apple cider! My only regret is not eating enough!
