MANSA is a hospitality brand. We take all of the attention to detail that fine dining offers with a warm and homey approach. We want to be able to share this with you during life's most important moments and create unforgettable experiences.
Manuela Sanin, our Chef and Founder, grew up in Medellin, Colombia, and immigrated to the US at the young age of 10. She went to Culinary School at 19 and has dedicated her life to restaurants, hospitality and food.
She began her culinary career in neighborhood restaurants in New York City, eventually working her way up to Executive Pastry Sous Chef at none other than Michellin-starred Eleven Madison Park. There, she lead the pastry team and developed a love for minimalistic aesthetic and bold flavors.
She had now founded MANSA in Los Angeles, California.

I needed a cake for my dear friends birthday party and didn’t want just a conventional cake. I needed something fabulous. Someone suggested I reach out to Mansa LA. The birthday girl loves old fashioned chocolate cakes and also likes coffee and so with that information I discussed the possibilities with the extremely kind and accommodating Manuela. What was delivered was beyond our expectations. A exquisite cake with mocha that was moist, insanely delicious and a work of art in every way. The flavors of chocolate and coffee perfectly balanced. perfectly. Weeks later the guests are still talking about this cake. A + experience

Manuela has been dedicating her life to cooking and bringing joy to people through food. She started her career in New York city where she aquired a very strong skill set through fine dining and baking.
She now lives in Los Angeles and has launched MANSA: a hospitality brand focusing on high quality ingredients with a homey approach. When she is not consulting with brides on their wedding cakes, she spends her days with her wife Laura and her handsome dog Sullivan- hiking, watching movies or simply enjoying the ocean breeze with lobster rolls and a glass of wine.
