Aaron really captured the feel from our wedding and teased us with a short video the day after the wedding and then scored two videos of raw footage and drone shots into a heart pounding video that we can watch over and over.

They have a unique way of ensuring that they are able to capture every moment of your special day without you even realising they are there. Afterwards the real magic happens and you will see them assemble an absolute masterpiece that resembles the promo of a Hollywood film. Could not recommend Makai Creative enough. Having Makai Creative provide videography and photography on my wedding day is something I will forever be grateful for!

My husband I and decided to elope in Hawaii. Since none of our family or friends would be present for the big day, we thought it would be nice to have a video to show everyone when we returned home (plus it's sentimental and wonderful to have for us). I came across Makai Creative and was extremely impressed by Aaron's communication, care and dedication. At first we figured we would get married at a beautiful spot on the beach or somewhere at our hotel (Turtle Bay, which was amazing), something along those lines. After speaking with Aaron, he had so many amazing ideas! After discussing more in depth about what my husband and I envisioned for the day and what we enjoy doing, he offered some really creative suggestions. Since it was only going to my husband and me, he suggested something more adventurous, like a hiking a mountain to a beautiful spot or taking a helicopter to a mountaintop for the ceremony. Things we never would've considered before. We decided to go the helicopter to a mountaintop route, and ended up having the most amazing and memorable elopement we could've hoped for!

Aaron and Emily were both so helpful in all of the coordinating and planning for the helicopter and day itself. They continuously went above and beyond from beginning to end. The finished product that they provided for both the video and photos are absolutely breathtaking (honestly some of the best work I've ever seen from a videographer and photographer). With that said, I can't say it enough that I'm so thankful I had them for our wedding day. If you want a wonderful experience and a beautiful way to reflect on your day forever, you shouldn't hesitate to hire Makai Creative!

Aaron was a dream to work with! Right from the very first communication he was very approachable and accommodating with our wedding film requirements. It isn’t easy planning a destination wedding and Makai Creative was extremely helpful and collaborated with us on our music backing choices and style of cinematography. Aaron always kept us in the loop regarding creative choices for our film and our video Skype call was exactly what we needed to ensure we were on the same page prior to the big day. On the day of our wedding they arrived promptly and directed us into shots we would never have thought of, Aaron made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. His passion towards getting the shot and correct angle was incredible! Even with a little rain on the day he persisted to capture that perfect shot; which has really shone through in the final wedding film. The drone footage was simply breathtaking. We were able to see footage from the wedding in such a short time frame and the guests simply loved the heart warming wedding trailer. Aaron was truly amazing on our wedding on the 19th August 2018 and we could not have asked for a more friendly videography team to work with. 5 stars - Makai Creative's work is simply magic and we look forward to reliving the wedding day over and over again! My wife and I couldnt be more complimentary about Aaron and his work. His wedding films are incredible. We are so pleased with them. Just watch some of his previous work to convince yourself. After meeting Aaron its so clear that his videography is a true passion and this comes through in the film he produced for us. For anyone who is in two minds about whether to get a video produced in addition to a photographer, you have to speak to Aaron and watch his videos. I cannot speak highly enough of Aaron and Makai Creative! Not only is he the nicest person ever, he is super talented, professional, and accommodating. He went above and beyond making sure he understood our vision, and was SO amazing on the day - he even sent us some previews incredibly quickly. He spent time with the boys filming a paddle out in the morning, and then made sure to stay for the dancing in the evening. His artistic ability is amazing, and I am blown away already by the result. We now feel as though he is a friend and will stay in contact with him to meet up any time we return to Hawaii.

We used his colleague Emily Turner for our photography, and she was incredible as well! Her pictures are artistic and beautiful, and she captured all of the important moments - not to mention the guests loved both her and Aaron.

Makai Creative was the best thing we did at our wedding besides get married. From our initial consultation to the delivery of our wedding film, Aaron was incredibly professional--responding to emails within hours, answering any and all questions, and helped us plan things out to get the very best product. When people say your wedding goes by quickly--that is No. Joke. There were so many things we missed but luckily got on film--something that we will cherish forever. Trusting Makai Creative to capture all the love we felt that day was the just the best decision and I am so grateful that we took that leap.

When we met with Aaron (Makai Creative), we came forth with the idea of "Adventure," since my Wife and I are always on the go to explore and discover new experiences. He delivered just that, with our cinematic short. Aaron is passionate for this craft, and is in a constant hunt for "the shot." Throughout the wedding, he and his team were constantly at the right spots at the right time, whether it be on the drone, gimbal, or monopod/tripod. Aaron was great to work with from day one. He answered all 945092835 of my questions and listened to everything we wanted in our video. He had a vision, we had a vision, and when he put it all together, our wedding video turned out amazing. We have gotten so many compliments about our day after teaser and out wedding video. The drone shots are to die for.

He is very responsive and has a very quick turnaround. We received our full wedding highlight video before we even got back from our honeymoon! It was THAT fast and THAT good.

But what I appreciated most about Aaron's work is his approach to his clients. Having a destination wedding and having never met him, he treated us like he's known us forever. He gave us recommendations on places to go and things to see in Hawaii. He gave us great direction every step of the way. He truly captured the essence of who we are and the night.
