Bodhi Films is the wedding photography and film brand of Big Island filmmaker and photographer Jon Bodhi, based in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Known for cinematic storytelling and striking sunset portraiture, Bodhi primarily documents multi-day destination weddings at luxury resorts along the Kona Coast while also traveling throughout the Hawaiian Islands to photograph and film celebrations on Oahu, Maui, and Kauai.

Jon Bodhi (aka Bodhi) is best known for creating cinematic wedding films that feel emotional, immersive, and deeply personal. His signature feature films weave together vows, speeches, and real moments from the day to create a powerful story couples can relive for years to come. Many of the celebrations he documents unfold over multiple days, allowing the full atmosphere and connection of the wedding weekend to be captured.

Alongside filmmaking, Bodhi has become known for sunset wedding portraiture along the beaches and lava landscapes of the Big Island. Using natural light and thoughtful composition, he creates vibrant, cinematic portraits that take advantage of Hawaii’s dramatic golden hour. Many couples choose to plan a sunset session during their wedding weekend to capture these iconic images.

Based in Kailua-Kona, Bodhi regularly documents weddings at Four Seasons Hualalai, Kona Village, Mauna Lani, and Waikoloa Beach Resort, as well as destination weddings throughout Hawaii.
