We couldn’t have chosen a better videographer than Jon Bodhi. From the very beginning, he was easy to work with and genuinely invested in getting to know us. Even though he’s based on the Big Island, he was more than willing to fly out to Oahu to film our wedding at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, which really speaks to his dedication.
Leading up to the wedding, he took the time to connect with us through a few phone calls and a thoughtful questionnaire to understand our story and style. That level of intention really showed in the final video, every moment felt purposeful and thoughtfully captured. His cinematic style is incredible. Everything came together in a way that felt natural, emotional, and very intentional.
Jon is also just a genuinely down-to-earth person, which made the entire experience even better. He was approachable, calm, and easy to work with throughout the process. On the wedding day, he blended in seamlessly and helped everyone feel comfortable, which made a big difference in how natural everything looked on film.
One of the most impressive parts was the music selection. We didn’t choose a song ourselves, but he ended up picking one of our favorite songs and it fit perfectly. It made the video even more meaningful. The social media teaser he created was also amazing and something we’ve already shared with so many friends and family.
Overall, Jon is incredibly talented, thoughtful, and intentional in his work. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer who truly cares about capturing your story. -

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Bodhi as our videographer. From start to finish, he captured so much love, fun, and all the little details that made our wedding weekend so special. Every amazing moment was documented beautifully, and the final film truly brought us back to the day in the best way.
The editing quality is absolutely top tier — the mix of audio, visuals, speeches, and music was seamless and emotional without feeling overdone. It felt like a true cinematic story of our wedding, not just a highlight reel.
We went with a full package of the Ceremony, Speeches, "sizzle" and an incredible 11+ minute compilation Film.
On top of that, the final film was delivered in a very timely manner, which we really appreciated. We are beyond grateful to have such an incredible keepsake and would highly recommend Bodhi to any couple looking for a wedding film that captures the heart and energy of their day. -

Jon Bodhi provided the videography for my daughter's wedding held last April on the Big Island, Hawaii. I was frustrated by the high prices offered by other videographers in exchange for just a brief highlights video. My daughter wanted to forego a videographer to save money, but I knew from experience that it is a priceless memento of your wedding day. In Jon Bodhi, we found a quintessentially excellent videographer who was very laid back and easy to work with. His prices worked within our budget. And we received a 3.5 min highlight video, a 9.5 min highlight video, and an almost hour long video of the entire ceremony mass. The quality of the videos were incredible! He chose the music and edited the scenes to coordinate well with the music. I cried multiple times when I watched the videos because they were so beautiful! But when I shared the videos with others, they cried too because they were that good! You won't go wrong hiring Jon Bodhi as your videographer. He is par excellence! -

It’s been just over a month since you photographed our wedding at the beautiful Manna Lani. Both Jamie and I separate them together view your video over and over. It is absolutely amazing how the emotions were captured by you and how they still affect us when we view them. I think the goal of every photographer is to be able to take a picture of emotion and you, my friend accomplish that.

Jon was the perfect fit for our wedding.
He instinctively knew where to be to capture great shots yet not be in the way, not once.
He was fast, had great prompts and staging ideas.
A few days after our wedding he sent several tickler photos.
We were thrilled and both agreed that if those were all we received we would be satisfied.
However in 3 weeks he had dozens of great candid shots of our ceremony, guests, venue, hotel, reception dinner and sunset.
We really can’t say enough how much we appreciate Jon. -

I am extremely grateful that we chose Jon as our videographer. He was so easy to work with and captured everything that we wanted! We got our video within less than a month! Jon Bodhi is by far one of the most talented artists I have ever met. He filmed my wedding and he was professional from the very start and very kind and easy going. The way he interacted with everyone at the wedding was almost as if he knew every body and that is such a great feeling to know that your vendors are fitting in! And his work...wow, simple WOW. The Instagram version of the video was absolutely amazing and the music was perfectly aligned with what we asked for- it did a great job of giving a little peak of what was to come by showing our love but not giving it all away in the video. Our completed wedding video IS AMAZING! My wife and I literally watched it about 20 times the first night it came out and all the emotions came out. All of our friends and family that were there have mentioned multiple times that he captured all the magic and beautiful moments from that day- it literally could not have been more in point. Every time we watch it, I think- wow..he literally caught every beautiful and magic moment on camera and just put it together where it flows so beautifully. People who were not at our wedding that have watched it said that it felt as if they were there! That’s how amazing Jon is! If you want all the magic captured...go with Jon..you won’t regret it! My wife and I have already said that when we figure out our plan for our honeymoon, if it is back in Hawaii then we will reach out to him for an adventure shoot 🙌🏽😍

Amazing and unforgettable

beyond happy
