We were lucky to have worked with Sam to capture our Oahu wedding at Lanikuhonua and couldn't be happier with the final films! Twin Fin is able to achieve a super unique style that captures the feeling of the day without ever coming across as cheesy. During our initial discussions with Sam, we discussed some of the things we loved most about Oahu and wanted on film, which include ocean blues, softly swaying palm trees, and bright florals. Sam took this into consideration when filmin and captured things beautifully with drone footage and perfect color grading.

After the wedding, I felt a little sad to have missed some of the moments with our live musician and reached out to Sam to see if he had any footage that caught the special songs I had requested. He ended up putting together special cut of our ceremony for us where the ukulele could be heard, and it is the part of our wedding content that makes me weep the most. So incredibly grateful to Sam for his talent, creativity and partnership!

Sam was very professional and made us feel like we were in good hands. We are a shy couple in front of the camera, but Sam was there to direct us and came out with some great videos. He also went above and beyond with his work and we highly recommend him!

The initial communication process was very productive! I previously had a different videographer booked who completely ghosted me after I paid my deposit to them, so I was very up front about my communication expectations, especially because I was planning this wedding remotely. Samuel was very understanding and exceeded my expectations in all ways! He understood our vision of what we were wanting for our videos, adjusted his video package to include everything we wanted and nothing we weren't interested in.

The day of our wedding, he worked seamlessly with our photographers and made my groom and myself feel so comfortable even though we get shy in front of the camera. He was also so kind and fun to be around.

Our wedding video and teaser came rather quickly in comparison to others! We got our full video 3 months after our wedding and it was everything we wanted and more! The drone shots were beautiful, the compilation was stunning, and the editing was impeccable.

But the BIGGEST reason why I would 1000% recommend to hire Samuel is that I was a complete dummy and misplaced my USB with ALL of our raw footage on it. So I reached out to him and he was gracious enough to send us a replacement!! Quite truly a lifesaver.

I am so beyond thankful to have found Sam to be our videographer for our destination wedding in Hawaii! After sending an inquiry, Sam was so quick to jump on a call with us to talk about what we were looking for and make sure our needs were met! As you can imagine, the wedding day was so hectic and never quite goes how you plan, but Sam was the one thing that was perfect and he rolled with all punches and created the most amazing wedding video we could have ever imagined! I watch the video probably two times a day and so thankful he captured our special day that we can relive for the rest of our lives! I can not recommend Sam enough!

Twin Fin Filmworks was fantastic to work with! Sam and his team completely captured the overall essence of our wedding. We didn't opt for a first look before our wedding, so most of our couple shots took place during our cocktail hour. Sam was very proactive and purposeful with the shots he got during the small window of time he had to work with. We are blown away with how it turned out! We also really loved their approach during the ceremony and reception. They completely blended in and got incredible candid shots of not only us, but also all of our guests. So many of our guests said they didn't even realize we had a videographer. This was really important to us as we didn't want the wedding to feel like a giant production. It was also great for me being a bit camera shy. The video turned out dreamy and magical and absolutely perfect. If we ever need a videographer again in HI, we will definitely be using Twin Fin Filmworks!

Sam delivered us a wonderful wedding video and he was so easy to work with! In particular, we loved the music choices and dreamy shots he featured in the videos. His style leans towards slow artistic shots that feature small details and moments. But best of all, Sam was amazing to work with - going above and beyond to deliver additional camera angles, drone footage, exceptionally crisp audio, and some raw footage we requested. We really enjoyed his laid back style and appreciated how cohesively he worked with us and also with our photographer. Your wedding day goes by so quickly that it’s a huge win to have your videographer be respectful of your time.

If you went through the “friends first then lovers” pipeline like we did, then Sam is the choice for you. Your video will be full of you + your partner laughing, stealing kisses, inside jokes, and of course beautiful shots of your wedding and guests.

Sam was incredibly professional and attentive, listening to all of my requests. He has a keen eye for detail and was able to capture all of the important moments in a way that truly captured our essence as a couple.

He works great with those who consider themselves camera-shy and aren’t used to having the spotlight in them.
