Eddie and his team were great. They pulled off an amazing dairy wedding, not something every (glatt) kosher caterer can accomplish, and did so to great reviews from the guests. Eddie was very patient and made an effort to accommodate all our requests and concerns, and his team worked with military precision at the wedding, without any major hitch, thank G-d. And all for a very fair price. Would absolutely recommend Main Event - Mauzone.

We booked Main Event Mauzone before the pandemic for our wedding. My husband and I don’t keep kosher, but we have many friends and family members who do, so we knew glatt kosher catering would be important to have. Other kosher caterers would not do our date because it was during Omer, but Main Event would. When the new management took over, I admit I was nervous about whether we would get the same experience as past satisfied clients. Now that our wedding has come and gone, I can say with confidence we made the right choice! We worked with Matt and Hallie who were friendly, professional, and helped our whole day run smoothly. They were able to improvise – our event had many more vegetarians than they expected, so their staff ran to the grocery store mid-dinner and got more ingredients! Our guests all told us how great the food was. The late night dessert station took a while longer than expected, but once they set it up, it was an especially big hit with our guests. A lot of people didn't know the desserts were pareve until we told them. The chefs even made macarons in our wedding colors without me asking! They packed up a ton of food for us and our parents to take home after. We would definitely recommend Main Event Mauzone for any event.

We just used Main Event Mauzone for our wedding. We were mostly happy but were disappointed with various things and have realized we would not use this caterer again for another simcha:

-Staff was pushy and rude, unprepared for the event and all seemed new and inexperienced. They fought with and were disrespectful to our other vendors. One staff member at the end of the night even tried to pick up a friend of ours.
-Food was good only if you stick with dishes they know and do regularly. (Vegetarian food was very disappointing)
- NO leftovers for bride and groom although specifically requested.

The food is good for glatt kosher but beware! As other reviewers have noted, their lack of professionalism is outrageous. We were even charged by our venue because they poured grease on the grounds and left furniture out in the rain. On top of that, their kosher inspector hit on guests and chatted up our 16-year old daughter; they were rude to our liquor vendor; and the owner refused to take responsibility for anything despite charging astronomical prices and making way too much food. Very stressful experience. But the hardest thing is the poor impression they create about orthodox Jews. They have been banned from the venue.

We used Main Event for six simchas over the past twenty years and Eddie was terrific. Unfortunately he is no longer there and the current owners are unethical- very surprising for a jewish company. Willing to share our recent experience.
