I can't say enough about how well Maderas Golf Club, specifically Chelsea White and Caitlin Daunis. We met with Chelsea about 9-10 months before the wedding and from our first meeting until the final guest left the wedding, she was there for us on every level. If there were issues the night of the wedding, my wife and I were oblivious to them. They took care of everything and allowed us to be present and thoroughly enjoy our daughters wedding.
Flexible, thoughtful, cost conscious, attention to detail, transparent, communicative and the list could go on for all the attributes Chelsea and team provided during our 9-10 month adventure of planning the wedding.
The venue was updated in spring of 2023 and they made some amazing choices for everything. The venue was significantly upgraded from it's previous state. (Keep in mind, we signed a contract prior to the upgrade, so it was nice before. It's stunning now.)
If you can, do yourself a favor and make sure to rent out the clubhouse for your cocktail hour and hire Ryan Hiller to dj the whole event. He's one of the music amazing guitar players you'll ever hear.
Chelsea has wonderful suggestions on every front and connections to make things happen that don't brake the bank.
Our wedding was right at 200 people and it was perfect. Not too crowded and felt just right.
My wife and daughter absolutely loved the newly created brides room to get ready in. A great improvement from the previous option where you got ready at a home just down the road. Everything being right there at the club was ideal.
The boys room was fantastic and had plenty of room to horse around, have food and a drink or two before getting ready.
We absolutely LOVED the feeling that we had the entire area for the day. We were secluded from virtually everyone and didn't have to share the space with hotel/spa guests like you do at another venue just down the road.
All in all, I give Madera an A++++ rating.
You won't regret getting married here.

We got married at Maderas in September 2024 and had the the most amazing experience. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding day everything was perfect. The property is beautiful and the food is delicious. We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue and the food. Chelsea and Marcella took care of everything and made sure nothing was missed. An added bonus was the gorgeous bridal suite that was perfect to get ready in. I cannot recommend Maderas enough! Chelsea was our wedding coordinator for our wedding! She was incredible and answered all of our questions. She was incredibly thorough throughout the process and did not miss a thing! On top of that, she was incredibly organized and had a suggested timeline already and made sure nothing slipped through. The day of, she gave helpful reminders so that we were able to stick to our timeline, and the day went by without anything going wrong. On top of that, the food was amazing and of course the venue was absolutely perfect.

My wife and I got married here last fall and couldn't have been happier with the service and overall experience. From the initial tour to the day of the wedding, everything came and went without any issue.

The ceremony was beautiful thanks in large part to the well-kept grounds and gorgeous valley surroundings. On top of that, they only do one wedding per day. Combine this with the secluded location and it felt like we were hosting the wedding on our own private estate. The whole day had a very exclusive and VIP-like feel to it. We toured more than a dozen venues in San Diego, LA, and the Bay Area. Nearly all of them were significantly more expensive than Maderas, offered far less, and were in much worse settings. The value Maderas provides for their wedding package is unbeatable.

Huge thanks to Chelsea for being such a terrific wedding coordinator. Chelsea was our first point of contact with Maderas and was with us every step of the way, answering questions, providing us updates, and informing us of next steps. When planning a wedding, you want to work with somebody who is organized, detail-oriented, and communicative, and Chelsea has all those skills and more. She's great at her job and we always felt like we were in good hands.

We'd also like to thank Caitlin and the rest of the Maderas staff for providing a great dinner service and cocktail hour. The flow of the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. We received so many compliments from guests on the taste and portion sizes of the dinner. Personally, we had trouble choosing which meals and hors d'oeuvres to have for the dinner and cocktail hour because everything at the tasting was so good. In addition, the club was more than accommodating to my and other guests' food allergies. We were delighted by all the thought and care that went into the meal preparation.

Some other little but significant details to note:

— On the final walkthrough, both Chelsea and Caitlin were there to solidify all the details of the wedding and make sure we were happy with everything up to that point. This was comforting as it helped us ensure everyone was on the same page.
—During our rehearsal, Chelsea provided us and our wedding party with champagne, juice, and water to kick off the rehearsal. A nice touch!
— Chelsea handed us our signature cocktails immediately after our ceremony ended, and Caitlin even boxed up some hors d'oeuvres for us since she knew we were busy during the cocktail hour.

These little details made us feel very special and left a huge impression on us. It goes to show the level of care and dedication the Maderas team puts forth for every couple.

Overall, we’re so happy we chose Maderas as our wedding venue. We’d encourage any newly engaged couple to consider them for your big day.

Maderas was the absolute best decision we ever made! The day-of the wedding, my husband I constantly said to each other "how did we luck out finding such an incredible venue.". From our first meeting with Maderas's team, we knew that this was the perfect venue for us. The golf course is absolutely stunning and offers such an incredible backdrop with the mountains in the background. Rebecca was our venue coordinator and she was SO incredible at kindly answering any questions we had during the planning process and being that trusted resource for us. Day-of, everything went off without a hitch and we were over the moon with the entire day! The food was incredible and their drink options for the bar are awesome! We are still getting comments from guests raving about the venue and how smoothly the entire day went. We wouldn't have changed one single thing about our big day!

We got married at Maderas in June 2021 and had the best experience. Not only is the property STUNNING, but Chelsea made things so easy for us when it came to planning. Especially during pandemic and ever changing rules and restrictions. Chelsea was always very quick at responding to emails and messages and she really is a FULL SERVICE planner. Took care of everything, from dealing with rentals to contacting all of our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly the day of.

Having the bridal house was a perfect addition to making our day so special. It was the perfect amount of space so that we could bring in hair and make up and had the best lighting for pictures. Our beauty team and my bridesmaids could not stop raving about the house and all the space.

The catering had changed during covid but I feel like we really lucked out. There was so many unique choices and the food was also delicious. Our guests all talked about how good the food tasted and the beautiful presentation. All together we had the best day and could not say enough great things about Maderas and all the staff!

The Maderas was the most beautiful venue for our patio reception! We couldn't believe the stunning views and sunset. It was more than I could have even imagined. Chelsea was such a pleasure to work with and allowed us to let our creativity shine for our dream wedding. Thank you Maderas for helping us have the best day.

We had the honor of planning our wedding and reception at Maderas. What a beautiful venue and location, and the amenities offered are just so wonderful too!

Our wedding has been affected by COVID, as I am sure many are/have been. Patrick, the general manager, and Chelsea, our wedding specialist, have been so accommodating and generous with their time and resources. There are so many wonderful things I would like to share about them and how amazing they have been in this process! This has been such a whirlwind trying to figure everything out, and they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating to ensure our happiness for our special day. Not only did they each reach out to us individually to see if we needed anything, but collectively as the Maderas Team.

I highly recommend this venue not only for the beautiful location and property, but also for the experience of working with such amazing staff members! From the time we walked into the front door until we left the parking lot, each member was so kind and helpful! What an amazing staff and venue for a wedding or event!

This review is overdue! We got married November 2019 at Maderas and it was the best day ever! I looked around at least 6 or so venues and I kept coming back to Maderas and knew it was going to be the one. The property was gorgeous and Chelsea (the catering/ event manager) was so great and probably a large part of the reason we loved it it so much. We were initially sad when she went out for maternity leave, but Becca stepped in and was equally wonderful and patient and so helpful and well organized and we loved working with her. Another wonderful perk was the bridal casa to get ready at which I loved and was so nice not to have to coordinate a hotel room for the bridesmaids. It is light and bright with a great kitchen and great patio too! The day itself was amazing and Becca drove us around on the golf course to get some great sunset photos and even had our drinks in the golf cart ready for us which was so thoughtful! We hired another day of coordinator to help too since we had ~150 people and they were both so organized and everything went smoothly. The food was excellent, the ballroom was great, and we had the best night ever! Becca and Chelsea were so helpful and accommodating to any thoughts or ideas we had like doing greenery on the chandeliers, different craft beers, and even having a piñata ! ( which was so much fun!). I would highly recommend Maderas, Chelsea and Becca and the entire team there! Thank you for the best day!!! LJ & AL
