This is currently the company that runs the event space at Maclay Gardens, they're also affiliated with Party Party Party. I've heard they're closing and a different company will run the gardens, I hope that's the case. I will start by saying that we ended up having a truly magical wedding, and that's why the venue is even worth looking at. But the entire planning process and wedding itself was made so much worse by the staff running the venue, particularly Diane. She was impossible to reach by phone or email, even more so as the date approached. They offer day-of planning services and rentals in addition to running the venue. In early January I finally reached her to settle those things for our mid-March wedding. We agreed on the phone that she would provide a day-of planner, tents, chairs, and more. But then she never connected me with the planner or responded to my calls for literally 2.5 months after that to get it down in a contract. Actually, once she responded to set up a call with me the next day but I wasn't available (I work full time and need more heads up). Then she never responded to reschedule. I found another day-of planner (who was great, but brought on way too late) and just crossed my fingers that when we did hear from the company that all would be in order. Nothing was as we had discussed--not only did they not reserve tents (which they insisted we rent from them), they did not even have tents. It was unreal. On the day of the wedding, they didn't bring any champagne flutes, among other problems related to their false promises. The person who represented the company on the day of the wedding, Kelly, was great and moved quickly to allow us to have our ceremony at the reflecting pool despite scattered showers all day. For that I'm truly grateful, but the rest just nearly gave me a heart attack. So, check which company is running Maclay's events before you book. Not worth the stress.
