Mackinaw Valley Vineyard, is located in Mackinaw, Illinois on an 86 acre farm with a 15 acre vineyard set around a picturesque lake and a sweeping view of the Mackinaw Valley and yes we really mean a valley! There are two favorite wedding locations; a white lake gazebo and a rustic vineyard pergola where couples have taken their vows and begun their life together during the past 16 years. The Vineyard offers beautiful and romantic scenery for creating wedding day memories. This picturesque venue’s elegant gazebos, lavish greenery, the valley and lakefront views at every turn create a dream venue for beautiful and memorable wedding photos and memories.

Convenient Location

The vineyard is less than a 30 minute drive from both Peoria, Illinois to its North and Bloomington -Normal Illinois to its East. It is conveniently located on State Route 9, 10 miles east of I-155 exit in Tremont, Illinois and 16 miles west from the I-55 exit in Bloomington at Market Street, State Route 9 exit. The Morton Holiday Inn and Suites offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the vineyard for wedding parties that host their guests at the hotel (there is a minimum room booking requirement).

Facilities Information

Couples have hosted wedding ceremonies for as many as 500 guests at the Mackinaw Valley Vineyard. There are multiple locations for you to hold your ceremony, including a lake gazebo and the pergola in the vineyard. The pavilion is the perfect spot for your reception, offering beautiful views of both the lake and the vineyard and seating for up to 310 guests. The pavilion was designed to give the feel of an outdoor space with moveable walls on three sides, and two of the walls are glass panels so even when closed the beautiful views and natural lighting are part of the decor. The pavilion can be heated for early spring or late fall receptions as needed. The pavilion space provides private bar and food service as well private bathrooms for guests. The facility is fully handicapped accessible. You can also enjoy the evening outside on the large attached, covered patio that wraps around two sides of the large building and many couples have used it as a dance floor and social space.

The experienced staff at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard take care of setting up your wedding ceremony chairs and the chairs and tables for your reception and bartending for guests. The on-site vineyard coordinator can assist you in creating the perfect layout for your reception in the pavilion. Couples are able to do tastings with the catering company to determine the menu they would like. They are also able to provide couples with linens to decorate for their special day.
