The winery is such a beautiful escape. I was so thrilled to have my wedding there. It was truly breath taking. Diane was unbelievably helpful and accomodating. She made our day perfect and special!

We had our wedding at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect setting for a wedding and we ended up with absolutely perfect weather. Our guests loved the relaxed feel of being able to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Our guests also enjoyed the wine and great music. Diane was great with helping us figure out timelines and logistics to make the day go smoothly. I would highly recommend Mackinaw Valley Vineyard for a wedding. It is the perfect venue for a wedding.

The vineyard is a gorgeous location for a wedding. We booked it approximately 10 months in advance. Very detailed contract. The vineyard had several suggestions of other people to work with (food, officiant, etc). They kept in constant communication with us and always responded promptly to emails and phone calls. Diane was helpful every step of the way. They were also flexible and basically let us decorate the vineyard the way that we wanted. They set up the chairs and took them down for the ceremony, which was nice to not worry about. The vineyard remains open during weddings, but honestly you don't even notice it. The ceremony area is far enough away from the bar/store area that it still feels private. We had our reception somewhere else and didn't feel any pressure to have the reception at the vineyard. The service we received was excellent.

Mackinaw Valley Vineyard was an absolutely gorgeous backdrop for our wedding and reception. The lakeside gazebo was wonderfully scenic and the improved facilities (extra restrooms and separate bride and groom changing areas on top of the fantastic tasting room) kept everyone comfortable leading up to the event. The reception pavilion was great, as well, looking fantastic as it was opened up after the ceremony and tuned to stay wonderfully comfortable despite the cold night weather.

Above and beyond having a great venue, though, they went to extraordinary lengths to ensure the day of the wedding went well. From keeping us informed of the other events happening at the venue that day (which never in any way disturbed our proceedings) and making sure space heaters were brought out without anyone having to ask to crawling on hands and knees to retrieve a card that inexplicably fell through the deck they did everything possible to make sure the day went smoothly for us.

We know at least one other couple looking at this site already and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic location with an incredibly dedicated and helpful staff.

I wanted to have my wedding outdoors, and Mackinaw Winery is a beautiful place to do so! Diane, the coordinator there, was very helpful the day of, and made sure everything went as planned.
