Luke is just the best. Very professional but easy going. He went above and beyond to get the more difficult shots that I had requested, such as stopping traffic to take photos in the street! I highly recommend him!

We just had the best day of our lives on April 23rd and we hired Luke Anderson to capture the memories. We received our pictures last week and we owe Luke a debt of gratitude for doing such magnificent work. We had never been professionally photographed before so we were unsure of how we would do but Luke put us at ease and made us feel very comfortable. It felt very natural, like he wasn’t even there. We were married in our backyard so locations to take photos were quite limited but Luke was extremely creative and we ended up with pictures that we wouldn’t trade for anything. My family said he was all over the place the place the entire wedding, crawling on the ground and doing anything to get the shot. He was extremely organized, professional and wonderfully helpful throughout the planning process. He was available for all our questions and ensured that we were prepared for the big day. Luke has a wonderful energy about him and you can tell that he loves what he does. We requested some very specific shots that were important to us and he made sure to get every single one. This was no easy task as many of them were with our puppy Rowdy, who was indeed being Rowdy. I don’t know how he did it but Rowdy looks brilliant in nearly every shot; if Luke can accomplish this than he can do anything. He even got a picture of Rowdy, carrying my bouquet amidst petal strewn grass and it is priceless. We are exceedingly grateful that we selected Luke to photograph the most important day of our lives. We cherished our wedding day and now we can relive every moment thanks to Luke and the breathtaking photos he captured. Thank you Luke!!

It's not often that you find a photographer who is not only talented and artistic, but who can also manage the business side of things with complete professionalism and superb customer service. My husband and I had Luke photograph our wedding ceremony and we could not have been more pleased with the results.
We had an Eastern Orthodox wedding ceremony, which is very different from most wedding ceremonies, and can be quite difficult to photograph. But Luke did a really incredible job - the pictures were breathtakingly beautiful, and perfectly captured both the key moments of our ceremony as well as the overall atmosphere. I was extremely impressed by the creativity and uniqueness of his pictures!! I also noticed that Luke was very comfortable and assertive when it came to getting the right angle for the shots he needed - but without distracting from the ceremony. It was clear that he is very experienced and knows how to take control of whatever venue/environment he is in. This is a huge plus!
Additionally, Luke handled the business side of things with complete professionalism -- offering an extremely reasonable price; communicating clearly and being flexible; coming early to the event as well as staying after to make sure we had all the pictures we wanted; promptly mailing us the edited, digital copies of our photos. He was easy and pleasant to work with -- I highly recommend Luke to anyone looking for a photographer - he will not disappoint!

Luke did a fantastic job photographing our celebration. He listened to what our vision was and then located the perfect settings to make them a reality. He is very personable and fun to work with as well, he truly has an eye for the beauty in a photo. Luke was a fantastic photographer for our wedding. We had a laid back wedding and I did not want to spend our whole wedding taking posed pictures so I asked that we only take a few and to focus more on taking pictures of everyone enjoying themselves. Not going to lie....I was nervous that our pictures weren't going to be good because we didn't have to take very many since Luke always took one or two and said we were good but as soon as we got our pictures I couldn't believe it everyone single one was perfect. Luke did such a great job and he really listened to what I want. He made sure that my list of people I wanted to take posed pictures with were done and he took great pictures of all my guests during the reception. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a photographer who is a great listener and takes amazing pictures.

After speaking with and quoting with many wedding photographers I was referred to Luke from my coworker and I decided to check out his website and collection of work before reaching out to him. As I expected Luke was very prompt and responded to my inquiry within the same day. He is very thorough and through the several months until our wedding he reached out multiple times to ensure that we were well taken care of and if there were any new ideas we'd like for him incorporate into our wedding photos and he also was very helpful in educating us in different photo ideas he had or he'd done in the past for other couples. Overall, I would recommend Luke Andersen to my friends and family getting married and when my husband and I have children Luke will be our first choice for newborn and family photos as I had a wonderful experience with Luke Andersen Photography.

Luke was truly excellent throughout the whole planning process, day-of, and after the wedding. His shots were gorgeous, his unobtrusive yet clear leadership allowed us to get the maximum amount of shots (and people!) in a short amount of time, and his demeanor makes him so easy to work with. We were so thrilled to see the final results. He is very affordable and takes care in the process. Would highly recommend!

They were very professional. The pictures were amazing! I would hire them again in a heartbeat! I don't think anyone else could have photographed the energy we had at our wedding!
