I truly can't say enough amazing things about Jonlaya and her team!! Her communication is absolutely top-notch, her professionalism and kindness were always on full display, and of course, her photos exceeded all of our expectations! One thing that really drew us to Jonlaya initially was her eye for beautiful detail shots, and she absolutely crushed those photos. There were so many little moments throughout the day that she captured and we were so excited to relive those moments. With two huge families, we were most nervous about getting through posed family photos, and Jonlaya ran those so smoothly and efficiently. I've had bridesmaids and family members tell us after the wedding how much they appreciated that part of the day, because it allowed everyone to get back to truly enjoying the day. There were even times throughout that process that Jonlaya, Becca, or Ashley saw that we were getting overwhelmed by family members and they were able to redirect and keep us on schedule. Before our first look, Jonlaya really helped me put my nerves at ease and prepare me for the moment. She is just such a genuine and kind person, and we are unbelievably happy that she was part of our wedding! We can't thank Jonlaya, Becca, and Ashley enough for all they did to make our wedding the best day ever, and for providing us with the most beautiful photos that far exceeded all of our expectations. Our initial phone call with Jonlaya was so comfortable, we knew immediately she was what we were looking for in a photographer. She is easy-going and fun in the perfect way to hype you up while blending into your day with ease. Even as we went through our phases of type-A planning ahead with our photo lists and timeline, she was always responsive and calm, bringing a sense of relief in a stressful time. We have never been great at taking natural looking photos together, but she flawlessly captured us just being us. Her team supporting her also matched her style and brought great vibes. It’s been a couple months already and we still can’t stop looking through our photos.

Jonlaya impressed us from the start when we scheduled our engagement photoshoot outdoors on a hot and humid August day, but she managed to make our photos look magical nonetheless! For our wedding, she was somehow able to get every group photo we requested while also capturing so many of the in-between moments we weren't able to see ourselves. We are so pleased with the quality of the photos, Jonlaya's friendly and professional demeanor on our wedding day, and our overall experience with LUEM Photography! We highly recommend her!

Jonlaya didn’t just take picture as at my wedding. She helped me keep my head on straight in the morning when I thought I was going to cry that things weren’t going according to plan. She was adaptive when our morning timeline didn’t go as planned, she was calm, cool and collected and SO ORGANIZED. She was outstanding. Without her I don’t even know if I would have made it to the wedding. Her photography skills are amazing. I haven’t gotten my gallery back yet but the sneak peek i saw I am thrilled with! Let's face it, for most couples; getting your engagement/couples portraits done might be the first time you've ever really "posed" for a camera or professional photographer. You might feel awkward or shy, not sure where to put your arms and ears, or even how to dress! It's difficult to do solo, and sometimes even more challenging with your partner. However, Jan made everything so enjoyable and easy! She gave us suggestions for the venue and scoped out the best spots to bring to life the vision I had in my head. I think we were laughing for most of the shoot, which brought a natural lightheartedness to our photos. Leading up to the shoot, Jan was wonderful to communicate with and very responsive. She even gave us some of the “outtakes” which are hilarious and just as great as our posed shots. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a photographer that’ll bring joy to your images. I can’t wait to blow up some of the photos for our wedding!
