I worked with Kierstin from Lovely Day Event Company last weekend, and she was superb in every way. As an owner of one of the larger wedding event companies, I have worked with hundreds of coordinators; she is one of the best. Kierstin is the best. It was a joy working with her even with our wedding having to be rescheduled due to Covid. A few things that make Kierstin a pleasure to plan your wedding with:

2. She gets to know her clients and understands what you're looking for. She takes the time to get to know both partners, what matters to you, what doesn't, and the kind of wedding you want to have. Then she helps make that a reality and helps you prioritize the things that matter to you and deprioritize the things that don't

3. She has an amazing eye. She designed our entire reception set up (bars, place settings, tablecloths, etc.) and it looked incredible. She is an artist and will create something objectively beautiful, but even more important, in keeping with what you want / like

4. She is a joy to work with. Covid caused us to reschedule our 200 person wedding weeks before our date. Rescheduling with some vendors was a nightmare. Kierstin was always there for us as a support, advocate, cheerleader, therapist, etc. She never got frustrated and was a stabilizing presence during an extremely stressful and emotional time

5. She sweats the details. She knows that getting the little things right matters to make a wedding go smoothly and she makes sure it happens. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, setting up our day of signage / decor, even steaming my dress. She is there for you for the big things and the small things and will make SURE that your wedding is exactly what you want it to be

6. She is unflappable. Planning a wedding (even not during Covid) is stressful. Kierstin is your partner through the whole thing and has a beautiful, calming presence that makes the whole process easier and more enjoyable

Kierstin was a great partner and excellent wedding planner for our February Prospect House wedding. Throughout the planning process she helped keep us on task, especially when we were busy with work and school or simply just slow to make decisions. The monthly check-ins were very helpful to talk through options, organize information, figure out how to prioritize decisions and agree on next steps.

Kierstin was honest and forthright in handling issues as they arose. She also did an excellent job at adjusting to different communication and work styles -- knowing when to push and when to hold off or be more gentle depending on the circumstances.

Since we do not live in Texas, we leaned on Kierstin for vendor recommendations and she helped us line up an all-star team of professionals for everything across the board from catering to entertainment. Not to mention that she was very cognizant of our budget and helped us find economical options without jeopardizing quality. Our guests raved about the food, drinks, service, venue, and music!

I had a hard time articulating what I wanted for flowers and decor. Kierstin was a great listener and understood my preferences and helped me put together a color palette and articulated what I wanted to our florist. This was one detail among many other interactions and touches where Kierstin went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding vision came to life.

Leading up to the wedding day, Kierstin shared a detailed wedding timeline with our vendors. She also reached out to our families and wedding party to share key contact information, the day-of detailed timeline, and Austin recommendations since everyone was coming from out of town which was such a nice touch and thoughtful gesture.

Kierstin and her team handled the wedding day in a very competent and professional manner. It was flawless! We were so grateful to be able to enjoy the day and not have to worry about logistics behind the scenes because we knew Kierstin was on top of everything. Our wedding would not have been the same without her. It was such a joyful day filled with good energy all around and everything flowed seamlessly. I would HIGHLY recommend Kierstin and her team!
