The longer version: one of my friends in the event planning world recommended a handful of photographers to me when got engaged in 2019. I looked them over and decided almost instantly that Joslyn was my photographer. This was one of the easiest decisions to make: Joslyn’s work is beautiful, and I was excited to work with her, especially after my friend said she was her favorite and photographer of choice for her own personal events.

I think we booked Lovelle just prior to the world getting shut down in 2020 for our May 1, 2021 wedding. We all remember how 2020 went, lots of uncertainty and ups and downs. We met Joslyn at our favorite local brewery in September 2020. This was our first in person meeting with each other and it was so much fun. Our engagement pictures turned out so beautiful and we were excited for our May wedding.

Well, as one might not be too surprised to hear, we ended up deciding to postpone our wedding to April 2022 since things were still pretty uncertain in early 2021. We just had our wedding this past weekend and while we don’t have our pictures just yet, we know that they will be fantastic. Joslyn and her husband, Matthew, we’re absolutely dreamy to work with. They were so joyous and excited for us, just genuinely kind and talented people.

There is not one bad thing I have to say about Joslyn! She is the girl for your photos. From day one she was a bright light in our interesting coronavirus wedding planning season. She was always there to talk and said she would 100% be there for both of our days (ceremony one day and reception a couple of months later). On top of that- her professionalism, eye for the perfect photo & editing abilities are absolutely the best! My sister found Joslyn and I knew right away I had to use her too! Joslyn is an absolute DREAM to work with. She is truly the sweetest and most kind human I have ever met. Her joy and laughter is infectious and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Let me just start by saying that photography was my number one priority for our engagement photos and wedding day. I scoured the depths of Instagram searching for the perfect edits, candid shots, and someone who's personality and general vibe I adored. Joslyn hit all the high notes. From start to finish, she has been an absolute dream to work with. Her editing style is warm and gorgeous, and she captures all of the intimate moments without making you feel posed. She is so easy going and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Not to mention, her turn around time is unmatched.
