The Lotts were everything we could have possibly asked for and more in a wedding photographer. Nick and his wife Jamie met us for coffee prior to us booking them, which we truly appreciated because we decided to forgo an engagement shoot and this gave them an opportunity to get to know us on a more personal level. They brought several wedding books full of weddings, engagement shoots, and family photo sessions they had shot to give us a better feel of their photography style. We were in love with the emotion and energy captured in their photos and their candids were simply gorgeous. The day of the wedding Nick showed up early and when he came to begin taking pictures of the bridesmaids and I getting ready he had already completed pictures of the grounds, decorations, and set up of the ceremony site and reception. Nick maintained control of the evening and kept us on schedule. He was great at telling people exactly where to be, when, and what to do—he had a very commanding presence that people had no choice but to listen to. With that being said, I didn’t even notice Nick during the reception or ceremony. He was in the background for the entirety of the event, busy documenting the evening’s festivities. Nick was great at listening to what we wanted and offering suggestions of things he thought we might want—like photographs at sunset when the lighting was stunning. If you’re looking for a down to earth photographer who can direct you the day of while remaining flexible to the unexpectedness of a wedding (and wedding guests!), Nick from The Lotts is your guy. He won’t disappoint.

We found Nick and Jamie last year and hired them to do our engagement photos as a trial run for wedding photos. Since then, we have also hired them to do family photos and they did our wedding also. They are wonderful photographers, so fun to work with, and I would consider them our friends now after working with them so often. We haven't seen wedding photos yet, since it's only been 2 weeks, but I am confident that they will be as stunning as the engagement and family photos were.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Lotts! It's a husband and wife photo duo they shoot amazing pictures! Just check our their website and you'll know what I mean! I searched weeks to find the perfect photographer, wedding pictures are the one thing you'll have forever to cherish your wedding day. When I came across them I knew they were the ones! Our engagement photos were outstanding and I know our wedding ones will be the same, they've sent is a sneak peek and they're perfect I can't wait to see the rest. On top of it they are amazing people with amazing personalities that you will fall in love with. Seriously, if you are having trouble finding a photographer check them out, you won't regret it!

No-showed to our wedding after full payment. They’re now ghosting us and not giving a refund. They completely ruined our wedding - a day that should have been special. STAY AWAY.

Prepaid full amount in Feb 2016 for a September 2016 wedding. They offer a discount if you do that. Everything was great leading up to the wedding. They showed up that day, took pictures and promised that we would have them within 7-9 weeks (as stated in contract). Well, that came and went with very little communication. We were told the drive was "in the mail" but never received. When Nick finally hand delivered the drive after the deadline, we were devastated to see that the quality of our wedding photos was terrible. It looked like they had set the camera for dark nights shots when there was full sun in some of them...overall, the photos were super grainy and distorted. I couldn't even print a decent 5x7".

Fast forward now to March 31, 2017 (5 months after wedding). Back in January, we were promised a partial refund by the end of March (that kept getting dragged out due to multiple family issues). I've reached out more than once to get an update but have received NO response. We have been incredibly patient and understanding, but the way we have been treated is unacceptable. Looks like we are now going to have to take legal action which is exactly what we were hoping to avoid.

Bottom line...DO NOT do business with Nick and Jamie Lott

We used the Lott's for our wedding on 9/24/16. While the initial experience seemed to go well things quickly fell apart when it was time to receive our photos. The photos came 2 weeks late and were unprintable due to a technical error on the part of the Lotts. Weeks later we were sent a second batch of photos which were almost indistinguishable from the first. A few weeks after that we were finally given photos which were at least usable, yet hardly the quality we paid for. After expressing our extreme disappointment the Lotts agreed to refund 500 dollars of our money. Months have gone by and that hasn't happened. They lie about when they will deliver the refund then ignore all phone calls and emails. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT hire these people.
