My husband and I had already started planning our wedding when we realized we needed professional help, and we are so glad we found Lo! She helped sort out what we had already planned, and guided us through the rest. She was so wonderful to work with. Lo was always organized, friendly, creative, and honest (in the best way), and she always communicated promptly and clearly. Where do I even start….. When I got engaged the thought of planning a wedding was an extremely daunting task. I lost my mom 5 years ago and as the only girl in the family, I couldn’t imagine being able to pull it off. To make matters more complicated I have always dreamed of hosting my wedding at my family’s harbor front home in Falmouth. I was introduced to Lo through a good friend and it after my first phone call with her, I was confident she was a great match. Lo met with me and my dad and we were all was a bit skeptical of my desire to transform our home in to a venue for 200 people. As that list grew to 300, Lo was forced to get creative and OMG did she rise to the challenge. Lo took time to understand the style wedding I was looking for which extremely non-traditional. FUN FUN FUN was all I wanted. No sit down dinner, great music, delicious food and of course lots of cocktails. Oh and wedding colors? Leopard print. Leave it to Lo to pull all of that together into a classy, extravagant affair that I am positive none of my guests will ever forget. And the best part? I was never stressed once. Not once. That is how good Lo and team are. I could seriously go on and on but a written review will never her work justice. Lo was an absolutely amazing wedding coordinator. She is a true professional: very organized, classy, competent, and thoughtful-- a true pleasure to work with. Before the wedding, Lo coordinated meetings with our venue's production and catering staff and produced a really helpful and detailed day-of timeline. She was SO helpful and a huge asset on our wedding day. All our vendors loved working with her. Our wedding day went really smoothly with Lo as the train conductor. She took care of all the logistics and details so we didn't need to worry about anything. She also ran an absolutely superb rehearsal the day before. It was very well organized, structured, helpful, and was the best rehearsal out of all the weddings rehearsals I've been to. The entire wedding party was very impressed. Lo is great with people and even bonded with a vendor over their shared love of dogs. We were really happy with Lo Event Design. We went with Lo after chatting with an enthusiastic out-of-town previous couple who had Lo plan their entire wedding at our venue (and she was also highly recommended by both the catering and operations staff at our venue). We offer our most enthusiastic recommendation for Lo after our wonderful experience working with her. Hire Lo if you don't want any worries during your wedding day, she makes things happen and gets things done! Two big thumbs up!

Lo is amazing! She listens to you about what your perfect wedding would look and feel like, and then she makes it come true! Her design was beyond what I ever imagined. Extraordinary! We live in Florida and were planning a full weekend wedding for our daughter on Cape Cod. We had no local contacts so we needed to depend heavily on our planner. The wedding was perfect in every way and we owe that to LoLo Event Designs! Perhaps as important though was that we all had a wonderful time in the planning. Lo McShay really knows her business. She guided us in choosing outstanding vendors for music, flowers, invitations, etc., etc. She gave us a realistic budget and then adhered to it scrupulously. She communicated well and let us know what we needed to do at every turn. She was enthusiastic about our daughter and her fiancé's choices and worked hard to make their wedding dreams come true. When she thought we might be headed down the wrong path, she let us know with sensitivity and respect. Lo has great taste and sound judgment. Her work ethic is superb. (She had a baby three weeks before the wedding and never missed a beat!) She is fun to work with as well! Lo earned our total respect, admiration and fondness during the ten months we worked with her. I demand the highest standards and Lo surpassed every expectation we had! She is truly the greatest wedding planner I could ever imagine.

All of our guests commented on how the whole evening truly reflected "us" as a couple, and this was all thanks to Lo and the amazing vendors she guided us to. We were both able to relax and take in the magical day thanks to Lo's exceptional composure and attention to detail - we knew nothing was overlooked. Lo and Kelly from LoLo Event Design were absolutely amazing to work with! Lo's vision for my wedding and perfect execution made it a true fairy tale. It was more wonderful than I could have ever imagined, and she thought of so many touches that really made the day unique (despite the fact that I constantly challenged her to find things that were off beat or atypical). She allowed me to give input on the overall creative vision, and then she was able to use her expertise to shape it into something magical. Lo had every single detail plotted out from day one, and I never had to worry about a thing. She was very clear about budgets and timelines so there were never questions about what was next (or what I'd have to pay for next!). Lo was there every step of the way helping choose dresses, invitations, linens, etc. and even did a site visit all the way in Michigan. When it came time for the wedding weekend, Lo was having a baby (!!) so her assistant Kelly took over the final event production seamlessly and flawlessly. It ensured that all I had to do on wedding day was show up and everything was taken care of. If I ever needed event planning services in the future, I would definitely go back to Lo to ensure the event was over-the-top spectacular.
