BEST WEDDING DJ out there! We cannot express how much we love Geoff and his lovely wife/assistant Grace! After working with them for many years, my wedding planner recommended them. And the minute we met him we quickly saw why. He’s warm, confident, and has such a contagious energy that you can’t help but be happy and excited around him. You can tell how much he loves what he does. In our meetings with him and emails he guided us on everything, he took in our music preferences, and got us more and more pumped for the big day. My family is Haitian and my husband’s family is Irish-American from New England so we needed to make sure there was music for everyone in our blended families. And Geoff made us feel confident in him that he could deliver as he is a lover of all music and blending cultures. We shared particular songs to play in this regard and completely trusted him.

And then on our wedding day (4.12.24), he DELIVERED! He was FANTASTIC! He found effortless ways to satisfy all cultures and got everyone on the dancefloor. He perfectly balanced MCing and DJing. And was awesome with dealing with last minute changes. He was fun and energetic when he was on the mic. He did a phenomenal job—everyone loved him. Him and Grace were honestly one of the highlights of our wedding experience. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

DJ Dan did an absolutely flawless job with our wedding, his announcing was excellent, kept everything on time, his song transitions were perfect, our dance floor was packed all night. Before the wedding Dan was very responsive, accommodating, personable, and his attention to even the smallest details was very much appreciated. I’ve been to 5 other weddings he’s done and they all ran flawlessly. 10/10 is an understatement.

Danny went above and beyond to make our wedding the day of our dreams. He was professional and had such a great attention to detail in both the planning and the day of. He made us, feel so comfortable and welcomed that we could just relax and enjoy the moment. I could not recommend more.

This company was great- Dan was hired as the DJ for our wedding 11/8/24. He was fabulous. He was very easy to communicate with and cared about what was important and special to us. He was very accommodating- last minute he played an instrumental song so that I could sing to my husband as a surprise! Dan made our wedding a party to remember.

Geoff was excellent! Two of our other vendors recommended him and we are so glad we got to work with him and his wife. He was communicative and very responsive leading up to the wedding. We felt very comfortable with him and felt like he really listened to us. He had people on the dance floor all night and did a great job feeling the vibe of the crowd and adjusting accordingly. He went above and beyond creating a custom mix for my dad and I's dance. We couldn't be happier!

I can’t say enough good things about Local Motion Entertainment, specifically DJ Danny. He was incredible. He made the entire process leading up to the wedding so easy, and executed our vision perfectly. The music/vibe for our wedding was so important to us and Danny was the perfect fit. He kept the party going until the very end and gave us and our guests the most fun night. He also did uplighting for us and it changed the whole room. It was the cherry on top to a perfect night! Cannot recommend him and Local Motion enough!

Bill was absolutely phenomenal and played a huge role in making our wedding day so special! From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional, organized, and easy to work with. He took the time to truly understand our music preferences and vision for the reception, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process, answering all of our questions and offering helpful suggestions. On the day of the wedding, he kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long! He seamlessly blended our favorite songs with crowd-pleasing classics, creating an amazing atmosphere that had everyone dancing and celebrating. We received so many compliments from our guests about the music, and we truly believe that Bill played a major role in making our wedding reception such a memorable and fun celebration. First of all, Geoff and Grace, from Local Motion Entertainment, are by far two of the nicest people you will ever meet! My fiance and I were lucky enough to book them for our D.J. for our wedding in Simsbury last month. From our first meeting, they were both so kind and so easy to work with. Our dance floor was full while Geoff played all of the songs that we asked for, and Grace was busy all night helping our guests have fun at the photo booth we requested. From the get go, my husband and I loved the informative and prompt responses from Geoff, the owner of Local Motion, and his staff. Before officially booking Local Motion for our July 2024 wedding we did a Zoom call with Marco, the DJ Geoff said was available for the wedding just to see if we vibed. We couldn't have been happier! Marco not only made an effort to get to know the overall vibe we were going for for our wedding, he got to know us as a couple; and it paid off when it came to the wedding. Marco's chill and friendly demeanor set him apart amongst the DJs we spoke with. I requested minimal songs because I was super confident in his skills, and it worked out perfectly!
