Where do I even start? My fiance and I were planning our wedding from a different state, and despite thinking I could handle some of the planning, I figured we would need someone local/in Tennessee to help execute the wedding of our dreams - and wow, what an understatement that turned out to be.

Allison was absolutely invaluable. From our first zoom meeting to the wedding, she ensured everything we were discussing and planning had my and my fiance's personalities, tastes, opinions and most importantly, relationship in mind. I really respected how invested she was in getting to know us as a couple so that our wedding could be as personalized and reflective of "us" as possible. Our wedding was on family property and she took the time to get to know the venue and our families as well - always keeping an open line of communication with them to help coordinate and transform an already special place into an absolute dream venue.

She gives you the freedom to be as involved (or as not involved) as you'd like with all aspects of planning, and I really appreciated how I was able to be very hands-on while still being able to trust her to take care of things. It helped me feel not as overwhelmed knowing she was in our corner doing a lot of hard work behind the scenes, especially when it came to putting our vision into a beautiful ceremony and reception design and working with all of our vendors in the Knoxville/eastern TN area. Her relationships, experiences and recommendations with vendors/wedding professionals in the area were extremely helpful and an amazing asset - especially with us planning from a distance - and I was so pleased she was able to form the same type of relationships with some vendors we chose that she had never worked with before.

She allowed us to share our ideas, priorities, concerns, etc. and used her expertise to either help build upon/optimize those ideas and priorities, provide alternatives or guidance with concerns and questions, or come up with new, fresh ideas that hadn't even crossed our mind. Her creativity and unique perspective as a wedding designer - in addition to her planning and coordinating skills - is irreplaceable.

Everything I've mentioned above (and more) culminated in a wedding day that was perfectly us and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Having Allison and her team (Sarah and Erin) there for the rehearsal and wedding day helped make it the most enjoyable and memorable experience for not only us, but for our families and guests as well. They took care of everything - and I mean EVERYTHING. From the vendor coordination, to the design/set-up, to ensuring things ran smoothly and on time - myself, my husband, our bridal party, our family and our guests did not have to worry about anything other than soaking in every moment and being fully present - and that is something that is absolutely invaluable on your wedding day. If there was a hiccup in the plan - I had and still have absolutely no idea about it. All I have are memories of our perfect wedding - and our guests are still talking about what a great time they had (our wedding was in October 2021) - it wouldn't have been the same without Allison and her team.

Allison did an unbelievable job helping us plan our big day at The Emporium in downtown Knoxville. She understands how to make a wedding beautiful on any budget and pays attention to the details.
