Linganore Winecellars is a stunning wedding venue in Mount Airy, Maryland, offering services to couples hosting their special day. Founded in 1971 by Jack and Lucille Aellen, this 230-acre farm was originally planted with six acres of vineyard space. Today the vineyard encompasses more than 70 acres and produces a variety of diverse wines. Facilities and Capacity

With four distinct event spaces available, Linganore Winecellars can cater to weddings with between 40 and 180 guests. Couples can tie the knot outside on The West Lawn where the manicured grounds and beautiful Maryland countryside provide the perfect backdrop for a fairytale wedding ceremony. Cocktail receptions can be held in The Berrywine Pavillion. This large 4,500-square-ft covered open-air space can accommodate up to 180 guests and can also be used as a ceremony location if couples wish. Newlyweds can host their reception dinner in The Abisso Banquet Hall, a lovingly restored barn that can also accommodate 180 guests. This stunning space features 23-ft-high ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and sumptuous decor and has all of the modern facilities one would expect, including an air purification system. Finally, the intimate and newly renovated Bacioni Room can accommodate up to 40 guests, making it ideal for smaller weddings or rehearsal dinners.

Services Offered

Linganore Winecellars offers a range of services and packages that couples can tailor to meet their needs. All packages include tables, chairs, and glassware. Also included is standard is setup, cleanup, and access to the get-ready room for the wedding couple. Catering is not included but the team can provide couples with a list of preferred vendors on request. The team can also provide a golf cart service to shuttle couples and guests to and from the ceremony location and a day-of coordination service to ensure each couple enjoys a seamless experience. The venue provides full bar services and a champagne or cider toast can be added to the beverage package on request.
