I loved working with Lindee and I am beyond thrilled with the new family heirloom she made me. I knew that I wanted my gown to be made in America with sustainable, organic materials. Lucky for me, this is ALL that Lindee works with! One of the many things I appreciate about Lindee is her commitment to ethical sourcing and philanthropy. She never compromises on her gowns, and they are radiant because of it. (I think all the happy and healthy vibes she puts into them don't hurt, either!)

Lindee is also possibly the most patient woman I've ever met. I found her far in advance of my wedding with TONS of very, very different ideas for my gown. She patiently and thoroughly examined the merits of each of my ideas, including using recycled fabric, pieces of my mother's upcycled (pink!) wedding gown, even hand tatting that has been in my family for generations. She walked me through the construction of potential designs, and what would look best with the fabric I selected. We ended up using one of her signature designs, the Rebekah, as our starting point, and we worked from there until everything was just right. She spent so much time on me, and I am so grateful for her attention to detail, her professionalism, and her care that I got just exactly what I wanted.

I really feel like I struck gold with Lindee. She taught me so much about fashion industry and how her little shop is doing its part to be more sustainable, ethical, and conscientious at every turn (ask her about peace silk, and have your mind blown!). Six months later I'm still getting compliments on my gown. It was so comfortable, so me, and it felt so good to wear a handmade, ethical gown. I even wore it to a reception our families co-hosted a few months later, and it was spectacular to show off the crafts-womanship of what Lindee created, and to feel how beautiful I felt on my wedding day all over again. I found Lindee's dresses through a retailer in Pittsburgh and fell in love with her style and materials. The peace silk and organic cotton she uses is the softest most comfortable thing you will ever wear, you will never want to take it off (and it's eco-friendly too! yay!). I fell in love with one of her dresses but it wasn't quite right for my body type and wedding style (hiking to a waterfall) so I decided to email her on the off chance she would reply. Within minutes she called me and I could tell she was one of the sweetest most genuine people ever. We started brainstorming ideas about how to make the dress fit my needs. She had wonderful ideas and we decided to move forward. We had multiple phone conversations to discuss details and size. I know Lindee is a very busy woman but she always took time out to talk to me and make sure I was happy with the process. She even sent me a muslin base of the top part so we could see how the cut was working and to get the measurements more accurate. She had me pin it on and video turning in a circle so she could see it from every angle. My husband pulled it a little too tight and I ended up having to get it let out slightly (at no fault of Lindee's) so that is one thing to be aware of. Just make sure you are comfortable in it and you should be fine! I would recommend Lindee to anyone and everyone (and I have). She made the process so fun and exciting that I will always cherish it.

Lindee was heaven sent. I shopped around with my sisters, but not one gown ever felt like it was for me. With some internet research I found Lindee and I'm so glad I did. We met several times for fittings to get it just right. She is a perfectionist with her craft---exactly the person you want making the most important dress of your life! Her suggestions were on point, and she really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I always looked forward to our visits since she is such a wonderful person. Bonus: I felt great knowing that the material used to make my gown was easy on the environment and sustainable. I recommend speaking to her about your gown way in advance since she can get busy and the creative process takes time. I was so thrilled with the end result. Every single person at my wedding (seriously) said how gorgeous my dress was and a few girls asked how they could get in touch with Lindee before we even cut the cake! If you want a one-of-a-kind gown that's eco chic and you appreciate the creative process of working with an artist, Lindee will not disappoint.

Lindee is amazing. Her dresses are amazing and I am so glad I found her. My wedding was in Scotland and I traveled with my dress from the US to Scotland and it was still perfect. She was always easily reachable if I had questions about care for my dress. I will treasure my dress forever. I hope that someday I will need another dress from her just so I have the pleasure of having another one of her creations.

I worked with Lindee through Glitter and Grit in Pittsburgh. Both wonderful businesses and proprietors to work with. I found out I was pregnant 6 months into our long engagement, and 3 weeks after my original measurements had been taken. Lindee and Erin from GG worked together to figure out the best possible solution for my predicament. My handmade gown arrived at my door 3 weeks before my wedding, tailored to my new measurements, and it was as beautiful as ever. Lindee rushed my project to ensure it's timely arrival but sacrificed no integrity, and even custom made the skirt for me. It was a pleasure to work with her, and she even corresponded privately with me through personal email and social media. I had the unique privilege of watching her make my gown through Instagram. And even more unique, her birthday is the date of our big event!

I was not a bride who always knew what she wanted - so when it came time to plan, the wedding dress, for me, needed to both fit the elements of place and my own personal style. After trying on countless dresses by Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang, Jenny Packham and other designers - I could not seem to find the perfect dress. After many emails to designers such as Veluz, Paolo Sebastian, and my reach designer Ellie Saab, I found myself gravitating to Lindee. After all, it was her Laya dress in Indigo that was featured in Pacific Weddings Magazine that made me to reach out to her (and you should always go with your first gut reaction to a dress!). The decision itself was not tough - working with Lindee was such an amazing experience from the beginning. The scariest part was knowing we were going to create a dress, which only seemed to put more pressure on the perfection required. From start to finish and a weekend in LA, only two months before my wedding, we conquered 'The Dress'. Lindee does not just promote eco and sustainable - she lives the lifestyle and it is clear, it is close to her heart. Not deviating from this is a true testament of her passion to design beautiful dresses while promoting sustainability and positive change. I highly recommend working with Lindee - whether it be to just purchase a designed dress or break the mold and design your own. She will not disappoint. And you, the bride, will feel (and look) amazing not only on your wedding day but each time you just want to wear the dress while sitting at home eating ice cream!

I don't think I can write the right amount or quality of words to express how Lindee's mind and work ethic helped bring to life my wedding gown vision. She was extremely kind and thoughtful when it came to the finer touches and alterations I had in mind for her "Lauren" dress. I used to live in LA, but had to move during our dress making process, so she was very accommodating and savvy when it came to me having to fly cross country and do multiple quick fittings. Some of the ideas that we created together have also been used by her future clients, which was so awesome to see. All my guests as well as the wedding party couldn't believe how graceful and light the dress appeared on me.

Lindee is the one-stop designer for all your eco-friendly/green dress dreams to be made into a reality! Anything you can think of can be made by her and you also help the environment in the process, pretty good blessing to have before you get married!!!

Lindee is AMAZING! Not only are her designs absolutely beautiful, but when the boutique I purchased my wedding dress closed down she kept in contact with me to make sure everything was perfect. I went on a girls trip out to LA and she actually came to my hotel room to do a fitting with me about 2 months before my wedding. The dress was gorgeous. I would definitely work with Lindee again and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

Lindee made me an extraordinary wedding gown. My experience working with her could not have been better. She met with me several times over the course of making my dress, in order to ensure it was exactly what I wanted and fit me perfectly. She's a great listener. I can't stress what a completely wonderful experience I had working with Lindee Daniel. Lindee worked with me on a custom order for my wedding in June '12. I was looking for a dress that I hadn't ever actually seen before. Lindee helped me form a picture of the right dress for me. She was very organized and patient with a process that I could see being easily overwhelming otherwise. She kept me informed of an overview of the dressmaking process and continually filled me in on things I would need to consider. Her transparency was refreshing and her passion kept our work together playful and fun.
