I met Lina through Wish Upon a Wedding. Wish Upon a Wedding is a non-profit organization that grants free weddings to couples who are facing terminal illnesses or who have gone through life altering health circumstances. Last year in 2019, I was diagnosed with brain and neck cancer. My husband proposed to me two days before my brain surgery. Unfortunately, due to all the medical expenses and my medical condition, we did not have the funds nor the time to plan our dream wedding. Wish Upon a Wedding contacted Lina and she immediately jumped on board to help plan our wedding. Without any hesitation, Lina immediately began working on our wedding, volunteering and dedicating so much of her time to make our special day possible.
Shortly after beginning our wedding planning, we were faced with a new challenge- The Covid Pandemic. Even during the pandemic and all the obstacles the wedding industry faced, Lina worked tirelessly for months contacting and putting together a dream team of vendors for our wedding. She was very organized, punctual, professional and adapted to any changes. She brought together the best vendors in South Florida and found us the most beautiful venue. The venue Lina Bender found us was absolutely beautiful, tropical, unique and everything we wanted. It exceeded our expectations!
The day of the wedding, Lina took care of every detail. She was there very early organizing and communicating with all the vendors and guests. I did not have to worry or stress out about anything. Thanks to Lina Bender, I was able to forget about my medical condition and enjoy every moment of my dream wedding. She made me feel so loved and I could not thank her enough for all her hard work. I was so overwhelmed with happiness and joy. Every detail of my wedding was perfect and I cherished every second of it.

My daughter got married in July 9, 2022. We hired Lina to help us organize the wedding because both my daughter and I don’t live in Miami. We hired Lina for my wedding, and I am so thankful that we did! From the beginning, she was extremely helpful and responsive to all of the questions that I had, and she did a wonderful job with communicating with both my mother and I from our first conversation, to our last. My husband and I just got married 3 weeks ago, and Lina made the entire process as stress free and painless as possible. From the first time we spoke with Lina we felt very comfortable with her. She made it clear that she was here for us whenever we needed her. She was very responsive and accommodating with all of the requests we had, which were many. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and that our wedding wish was magical.
