Sam Lewis State Park was the perfect place for us to have our ceremony. The location has a beautiful view of the Susquehanna River, and the day could not have been more perfect for it! The park service was great to work with and we had no issues with getting our chairs in and out of the grounds. If you plan to have an outdoor ceremony, I think there is no better place than Sam Lewis State Park!

We absolutely loved having our elopement ceremony at the train station. Tracy was our point of contact and she was absolutely wonderful! We arranged everything from TN. Tracy checked in with us several times leading up to the ceremony and was there the entire time the day of our ceremony! Highly recommend this venue! It's a hidden gem in Gettysburg

We got married here on June 1, 2024!! The staff were so wonderful and Kashia our wedding coordinator was just simply incredible!! She made our vision for our day a reality and went above and beyond everything we could have ever asked for!!

While researching outdoor wedding venues around State College, we fell in love with Fern Hill within minutes of arriving for our visit. The wooded grounds are gorgeous and secluded. Sue and Melissa were extremely helpful throughout the process. We held our ceremony in the sculpture garden, cocktail hour inside of the main school building, and then our reception in the pavilion. It also gave us piece of mind knowing that we could move any/all of the events inside in case of inclement weather, an option very few other local venues offered. We also stayed in the cabins on site which were nice and convenient. If you're looking for an outdoorsy wedding experience surrounded by nature, we highly recommend Fern Hill!

My wife and I chose Pine Hollow after an exhaustive search. We decided we wanted a small, intimate wedding in a natural setting, and there just is no place that spoke to us like this venue. I can't honestly say enough about Pine Hollow and it's hosts, David and Rachel. The grounds are incredible, and despite rain on our big day (always a spring wedding risk), we utilized the event room for our ceremony and still were able to enjoy the grounds afterwards with our closest family members. David and Rachel do an amazing job with the place and are very warm, friendly and responsive. Don't overlook Pine Hollow Lodge if you want an intimate, beautiful and memorable wedding experience
