We found Katie while searching for vendors and immediately reached out to her after seeing her floral designs. We knew how much flowers could bring our wedding to life and Katie’s work matched the vision we had perfectly. During our first call, Katie was able to put together a vision board with our ideas and get most of the details incorporated. However, closer to the wedding when we had some changes in the vision, she was easily able to be flexible and make those changes. We were also able to rent table numbers and some small detail pieces from her to add to the décor.
On our wedding day, Katie had all the bouquets and boutonnieres ready and labeled and was even able to quickly add my “something borrowed” to my bouquet. She gave me a crash course in how to hold my flowers and the “best side” for them. We hoped the weather would hold out and we could have our ceremony outside, but unfortunately, a storm came through very shortly before our ceremony time and we had to have our ceremony inside. Although Katie and her team had set up for the outdoor ceremony, they were able to rescue our ceremony flowers and bring them inside (in the rain!) so our ceremony and reception still had flowers. Although she and her team were soaked, they made sure our day was still beautiful, and we were able to have our arrangements inside. She and her team provided set up, relocation from ceremony to reception, and breakdown.
Katie offers bouquet preservation, which is a great addition, and she will take your flowers to dry them and arrange them during breakdown at the end of the night. I also accidentally left my "something borrowed" on my bouquet at the end of the night and Katie mailed it back to me!
Our day-of experience was fantastic, but a couple times leading up to our wedding, I did notice some slowness in communication. However, this was not a huge issue for us as we had significant time before our wedding when this happened. The time or two I needed to follow-up, Katie was always responsive and apologetic for the delay. Overall, Katie’s professionalism, enthusiasm, and designs were fantastic, and we would recommend her for your floral needs. We would love to work with Katie again!

Katie!! You and your team did a amazing job on my wedding on 02.05.2023. I couldn’t be any happier with all the flowers. Everything was beautiful!!! My bouquet the centerpieces the candles, mirror and welcome sign everything was gorgeous! You definitely capture my vision and made it in to a reality. Thanks for making my day special!

Kate was truly a pleasure to work with and really listened to what I asked for. She made stunning flower arrangements for our wedding that went perfectly with our color scheme! She always answered my questions in a timely manner and delivered the flowers right on time which made my day that much easier! I highly recommend!!!

Working with Katie of Layers of Lovely Designs was nothing short of amazing! Seeing the pieces she made and put together for our wedding was one of my favorite moments of our special day! She does unbelievable work and I am constantly looking back on our wedding pictures just to look at the flowers! She even did my wedding bouquet preservation and when I tell you she KNOCKED it out of the park I truly mean it! Hiring her was one of the best wedding decisions I made!

I had an amazing experience with Katie from Layers Of Lovely! Not only is she a sweetheart… she knows what she’s talking about when it comes to flowers. I personally know nothing about flowers. I told Katie that I trusted her opinion entirely and she’s didn’t let me down! All my guests at the wedding kept complimenting what a lovely job my florist did! I highly recommend Layers Of Lovely!

During my first conversation with Katie- I knew she was the perfect fit for our wedding. With the vague descriptions I gave, she understood my vision and what I was going for perfectly in the initial quote/vision board she provided.

Throughout the process, Katie was super easy to work with and flexible with any changes I requested. She was even able to accommodate a few additions I had made only a couple weeks before the big day.

My only "complaint" is that sometimes response time is a bit slow, but keep in mind Katie has a small team and she most definitely will get back to you within a few days.

Overall, the flowers for our wedding were STUNNING!! Some of them (dahlias) were grown by Katie herself. Everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined, and very reasonably priced. I would argue that Katie did just as good work as some vendors that wanted to charge me $10K+ for similar scale of arrangements, if not 100x better! So happy we chose Layers of Lovely and can't wait to get my pressed bouquet back so I can continue to enjoy her work for years to come (yes- she also offers bouquet preservation!)
