Knowlton Mansion was the best choice we made for our wedding celebration. We feel so grateful that my mom found this venue and we ran with it.
We already had the best first impression and they did not disappoint until the very end.
Everyone we talked to and worked with was so nice, accommodating, patient, and professional. From the very first person, Cara, who introduced us to the venue and the logistics, to Eileen the event manager, to Rebecca the day of manager, and the bridal attendant were all SO personable and supportive and focused on helping us fulfill our vision. We really appreciated how patient they were with us. Also would like to point out how easy it is to communicate with the team and have all of our questions answered throughout the entire process. Eileen was particularly so helpful and responsive ! They also kept us accountable with reasonable and very clear timelines. On the day of, Rebecca was so receptive and clear in that she is there to support us and answer any type of question ever.
Ok and the FOOD was something else! All of our guests from different parts of our lives were similarly huge fans of the food and the portion. The hors d'oeuvres were such a hit and the entree was so good and great portions. They left feeling so full and satisifed which was so important to us.
Knowlton Mansion was such an important factor to why our wedding day was the best day of our lives. We wish we could go back to this most perfect day.

We toured Knowlton in January 2024. Even in the darkest days of winter, it held such a unique elegance. We toured 8 other venues that weekend and Knowlton was categorically the winner for us. The mansion boasts an intriguing walk-through with well-preserved rooms that make for a fascinating welcome to your event. The ballroom in the back is large, airy, and innately beautiful. We felt comfortable minimize costs on florists due to the beauty of the mansion and I have no regrets. We also thought they had a great rain plan - that was really important to us. We have seen too many friends scrambling to figure out a viable bad weather plan.
Leading up to our wedding, I emailed Eileen with an annoying amount of questions for which she had endless patience. I never felt like a nuisance, even though I am completely confident there were several questions I asked her multiple times.
Knowlton includes a day-of coordinator and a personal bridal attendant. I worked with Dani as my day-of coordinator, and I cannot say enough great things about her. She did the impossible - she made my wedding day completely stress-free. If there were problems during the day, I simply never heard about them. She took my vision for the day and enhanced everything - she completely understood how I wanted things to look, and then improved my plan.
I extended our time at the mansion so my bridal party and I could get ready there - I strongly recommend doing that if you have the option. It allowed the bridal party to feel settled in. We also did the Wine Cellar which, frankly, is a must. Guests loved having the option to head down and do a sampling. It was a nice little "surprise" after dinner. Our guests also really enjoyed all the outdoor spaces - Knowlton sets up a great outdoor tent with fire pits.
We are still receiving compliments about the venue, the food, and the flow of the day. I have nothing to fault them on. Our photographs are so unique and beautiful. There are too many great spots to take photos - we could have spent a week exploring all the curious spaces for photos. Thank you ALL for making our day seamless.

We loved having our wedding reception at the Knowlton! The staff from our first tour to our wedding night were very responsive and made sure every detail was perfect! The food was amazing and our guests loved the Mansion's charming and rustic feel!

From the moment my now husband and I walked into the Knowlton Mansion, we knew this was the place we wanted to have our reception. The mansion is the most unique venue I have seen, and the addition of the ballroom is beautiful but still carries over the charm of the original home. Eileen was our point of contact leading up to the wedding and she was a delight to work with. She was very helpful and responsive with all my questions, and she made me feel at ease with the timeline. On the day of the wedding the staff was amazing! My husband and I had a few waiters that were focused on us all night. They made sure we had a drink and tasted every hors d'oeuvre. Overall, I can’t recommend Knowlton enough. The place was beautiful, and the staff was top-notch.

Knowlton Mansion is a beautiful and charming venue! My husband and I got married at Knowlton Mansion on July 5, 2024. The Conroy Catering team were great to work with. In the months leading up to our wedding, we were able to reach out to our coordinator, Eileen, at any time to answer all our questions. We were able to visit whenever we needed for planning purposes. Eileen was amazing to work with! In the week leading up to our wedding, we worked with our day-of coordinator, Dani, and she was absolutely wonderful! She had a calming presence that was able to meet all our needs and answer all our last minute questions. She was so helpful and attentive throughout the whole evening. Additionally, all the ladies got ready at the venue the morning of the wedding. All the staff were very accommodating while we did hair and makeup. All of our vendors were welcomed and everything ran so smoothly. Lastly and most importantly, our families and guests loved the venue! They loved the outdoor ceremony space, exploring the mansion, and hanging out in the sunroom of the reception area for cocktail hour. Our wedding date was extremely hot outside, and we cannot thank the staff enough for being so accommodating to our guests while they waited for the ceremony to start. They made sure they had water and could wait inside if they needed. The food was also amazing and our guests had so many compliments on our station-styled menu. The Conroy Catering team went above and beyond on our day to make sure that everything ran smoothly, that guests were taken care of, and that we were having the best day!

As my now-husband and I drove away from our tour of Knowlton, we immediately knew it was the venue for us. For the services you get wrapped into one, Knowlton is a no-brainer! Our day-of coordinator made sure things moved smoothly, the cake was delivered directly, and the staff ushered guests from place to place. Everyone couldn't have been more friendly! The space is gorgeous on its own, so we didn't even need a florist. If you're looking for a one-stop shop with helpful staff, DELICIOUS food, and a unique breath-taking site, cannot recommend Knowlton more.

This was the absolute perfect venue! It was very unique, which I loved! The front part is an old mansion and the back was an addition they put on and has a more rustic feel. There's a barn out back and a beautiful outdoor ceremony location. The back up for rain is in the barn, which they just renovated and looks gorgeous! There's so many unique places for pictures (mansion, nature, barn, wine cellar, etc). The staff was AMAZING. Eileen was our coordinator for planning purposes prior to the wedding and she was sooo helpful. She made sure every single detail was planned out perfectly. And our day of staff, Dani and Rebecca were the best!! They made sure the day went smoothly and that we had everything we needed at all times. They really made you feel like your wedding was the most important day for them, too. They were just the loveliest. The food was INCREDIBLE. I'm not usually a big fan of wedding food, but all of our guests were blown away by the food selection and quality.

Knowlton was the best choice we could have made for our wedding day - hands down! As a venue, it offers everything: a gorgeous historical setting, two beautiful ceremony spaces, excellent food & drinks, an amazing ballroom, and a team that will really go above and beyond to make your day a dream-turned-reality. For couples who are in the process of finding a wedding venue in the Philly area - you MUST visit Knowlton! We only have great things to say about our experience with Knowlton. Our journey started in 2019 - we were looking for a venue that would host both our wedding ceremony and reception with an outdoor option, and Knowlton was it. Since it's also owned by a catering company, the food is outstanding. To top it off, Knowlton offered the best rates and flexibility as to our event hours. We don't live locally and felt confident enough to book Knowlton without even visiting first! Over the past three years, we navigated two postponements due to the pandemic. Each time, the Knowlton team was incredibly understanding and willing to move our date. At a time when vendors were having a hard time themselves, the team's graciousness and generosity quite literally kept our wedding dream alive. When our day arrived, it was even better than we envisioned. Chris, the day-of coordinator, and her team did a perfect job. Our ceremony and reception, including a delicious sit-down dinner, went without a hitch. There were so many moments of kindness and support - as the bride and groom we felt taken care of the entire time. Our guests raved about our wedding, our venue, and the catering, and we have Knowlton to thank for that. All the praise to the Knowlton team!
