Team
I found my passion for events at a young age although I did not make it a career until later in life. I grew up helping my mom organize and decorate events for family and friends. Some of my fondest memories are helping her paint those cute ceramic figurines used for decor back then. I enjoyed watching as we turned any space (living rooms, yards, a park, a venue) into these wonderlands.
I got my certification shortly after high school to avoid college (which I later attended 3 times.) I went through the motions giving it a name, making some flyers and business cards and planned a few events but had no plans for a business.
Throughout the years I planned & designed events to make a few extras bucks. Until one day I realized that I was working a dead-end job (a well-paid but dead end none the less) and that I could be making money doing something I genuinely love and enjoy, and so Lavender Lady Events was reborn.
