Evonne is truly one of the most passionate, kind, and caring persons I have ever met, and she has built this beautiful wedding planner service called Exquisite Events to help support and guide people like myself and my husband. Our day just passed on 5-24-25 and it could not have been a more wonderful day. Not because the weather was perfect (because it was not) or because things weren't forgotten at hotels (because they were by me), but because Evonne was the glue quietly but firmly holding our day together and making sure we had everything we needed. Every decision or thought she had was made with us in mind during tahe planning and ultimately the execution of our dy. She advocated for us and our wants/needs when working with our venue and vendors, and she took extensive amounts of time to meet with us at integral planning moments to keep us on track, and help us bring to life what we only had in our head. She was always easily accessible at any time during the planning process, even when we were not actively meeting, she was always sending us links and vendor information/ideas. One of the most impressive things was Evonne's work ethic and dedication to us as a couple. She created an impeccable "master timeline" that she was constantly tweaking and adjusting, so that we could make time for everything that we wanted to make our day truly special. All in all, my husband and I could not recommend Exquisite Events enough for your wedding planning needs. There is no one else I would rather have held my hands and give me her fan to use while I was getting a little overwhelmed on my day than Evonne. Our day was truly magical and would not have been possible without her love and dedication.

With just 30 guests, our wedding felt intimate yet incredibly one-of-a-kind, thanks to a clear artistic vision and Evonne’s signature attention to detail and eye for elegance. I always wanted to get married at the NYBG but I realized Princeton was much more meaningful to my financé and I. The lush grounds and architectural beauty of Jasna Polana made every moment feel cinematic. Evonne brought warmth, calm, and precision to the day—everything flowed effortlessly. We’re so grateful for all the energy she put into making it so special, and truly, Evonne was such a wonderful person to work with every step of the way.

From the very beginning, Evonne took the time to understand us—not just what we wanted for our wedding, but who we are together. She provided invaluable advice, helped us avoid costly mistakes, and made sure every decision aligned with both our vision and our budget. She was always patient, always supportive, and always had a solution for every challenge that came our way.

And when we needed her most? She showed up in ways that truly proved she was in our corner. When one of our photographers became unprofessional and unresponsive after taking our deposit, Evonne immediately stepped in to help, ensuring we found someone reliable who was truly worthy of capturing our day. Her willingness to advocate for us with such care and professionalism reassured us that we were never alone in the process.

Beyond her expertise, Evonne is incredibly thoughtful. When we casually mentioned that we were big Marvel fans, she didn’t just take note—she found ways to incorporate that into our wedding in an elegant and personal way. She even went as far as finding a Captain America shield made of forever roses that we could keep long after the wedding, simply because she knew how much it would mean to us.

She also understands what’s missing in the wedding industry—especially for women of color, curvier brides, and couples looking for something beyond the traditional mold. She fills those gaps with intention, care, and a level of expertise that makes you feel truly seen.

At the end of the day, Evonne is worth every single penny—and then some. If you want a planner who will not only execute your vision beautifully but will also be your advocate, your guide, and your greatest asset throughout the entire process, she is the one.

It was the most magical day of my life. Evonne truly wanted our day to be incredible. It was obvious she was doing her very best and I’m very thankful. She listened and responded to our thoughts. It was the best day of my life and everyone was GUSHING about how amazing the wedding was.

My wife and I discussed having a small intimate wedding, one I thought we could plan on our own, but my wife insisted that we get help. We spoke to a few different planners who didn’t resonate with us, and then we met with Evonne, and within 10 minutes of speaking my wife knew she was the one. Evonne was amazing in every way possible - her energy, her knack for details, her interpersonal skills, the creative ideas she presented and her amazing communication skills. She really captured what we wanted and helped us make it possible.

Now that I’ve gone through the wedding planning process, I would highly recommend hiring a wedding planner regardless of if the wedding is big or small. Evonne gave us that piece of mind that we had everything covered and nothing had been forgotten.

On the day of the wedding, the only thing my wife and I had to worry about was having fun and staying together to greet our guests. Evonne and her team took care of everything else!

From our first meeting, I knew Evonne was the person we were looking for! I love that she immediately understood the vision and goals for our wedding but most importantly she understood us as a couple. Evonne helped us select and vet key vendors, e.g our venue, caterer and florist, as well as provided day of coordination. Evonne and her team were amazing and made sure everything was perfect for our special day. From setting up decor, to managing the vendors last minute questions, to rounding up family for photos. For the 10 months before my wedding, I focused my time and energy on creating a wedding that my family and friends would thoroughly enjoy and remember. I decided to not have a wedding party because I wanted my family and friends to fully enjoy my wedding. As the day got closer, I began to feel anxious about how I would manage alone on my wedding day. A friend suggested hiring a ‘day of wedding stylist’. I contacted 5, and interviewed 3. From the start, Evonne’s intake process was superior to any of the others. During our initial meeting, we had an immediate connection and I could see that we were both appreciating that we were a great fit. I knew I was lucky to find someone so competent only about 7 weeks before my wedding. From the day I hired Evonne, my stress level plummeted. She attended my bridal accessories shopping spree and my dress fitting. My wedding day was the most relaxing and enjoyable day with Evonne by my side. I wish I had hired her to plan my entire wedding, because I am sure I would have had zero stress during the entire process.
